I greatly enjoyed this third book in the Luminia series. As Pt II of the duet, Zenith, a gargoyle warrior, and Prince Anash, his half-incubus/half-fae mate continue their story. Zenith serves an evil queen who wants to oppress and crush the rebellion of the human members of the realm. Zenith was created for duty and obedience and doesn't question it too much. Anash comes to realize the intended war is wrong and he secretly works to thwart the efforts. Meanwhile, the love between the two beings deepens while danger and magic swirl all around.

This book ends on a very happy and complete note, but the author mentions that another book will be released featuring the Gatekeeper. This is a highly recommended series!

entertaining

A fast paced adventure with some tension, action, and spice. It was a quick read and I liked the characters. It ended the Duology well. However, I feel like these two books should have just been one due to their lengths.

The conclusion felt a little to easily won, but I still enjoyed the second half of this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable but over too quickly. I am happy that the series will continue.

A great ending to a great series!
We pick up with Anash and Zenith on a mission to end a human rebellion that’s about to spur on a war. Zenith was created to protect the Royal and family, and he knows that is his purpose in life. While ge thinks he knows what he’s fighting for, as the war begins he sees that the Royal family, especially the Queen, might not have the people’s best interests at heart.
Anash has already learned of what harm the Queen is capable of, and is determined to do his part to quell this war and bring peace to all of the citizens. But he doesn’t know if Zenith will agree with the rebellion, and fears what his choice will be: his love or his country?
This is a fast paced story with political intrigue and military plotting, rebels vs royals, and:
-A warrior gargoyle
-His fae/incubus mate
-Magic
-Battles
-Sweetness and steam
I really enjoyed this series and I loved Anash and Zenith together!
