About the author

Randi Reisfeld has written over 60 books, primarily for ‘tweens and teens; non-fiction (celebrity biographies, two of which have made the New York Times best seller list); and fiction. She wrote the Clueless series, original stories based on the characters in the movie, as well as six books based on the character of TV's Moesha. Her original fiction series called T*Witches is a Disney Channel TV movie, broadcast October 2005. [NOTE: Although Witches is in the title, this series is completely wholesome, compelling, and humorous, and has nothing to do with the occult].

She is an editor at Scholastic, as well.

So, this is another random book I picked up at Book Off for a dollar. It was your typical young adult book. It was all about The Girls, four teenage girls of the Las Vegas elite—“rich, famous and shameless” as the front cover tagline describes them. They are four very different girls, living out four very different situations when it comes to romance, hooking up, fashion and their futures. I don’t have brilliant things to say about this book. I liked it, I enjoyed reading it, I figured out the “surprise” revelation two chapters in, and it was a fast read. I basically read it because, well, I knew I could finish it fast and I need to catch up on my last ten books.

Laaaaaaaaaame. It reminded me of a badly written A-List series book (the series by Zoey Dean). And even The A-List series is dumb.
