Is it cheap to rate my textbook on goodreads? Yes. Did I read almost 600 pages about the middle east and want it to count towards my challenge? Also yes. This was a really helpful and detailed textbook with positively no flavor to it, which I think is exactly what it was supposed to be. It succeeded at its job, which was education not intrigue, and I’m just fine with that. Can’t give any textbook more than 3 stars unless it shocks me with its usefulness though, and this was just ok.
