Arabella: The Dark Money Network of Leftist Billionaires Secretly Transforming America

Rate this book
While billionaires like George Soros, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett are well known as left-wing megadonors transforming the country’s politics, few Americans know about Arabella Advisors, a “dark money” operation that channels much of this money into particular causes via pop-up groups designed to look like grassroots outfits. Citizens across the spectrum will be shocked to learn how Arabella’s empire secretly operates using arrangements that produce the darkest of “dark money.”

Thanks to the author and his colleagues at the Capital Research Center, which first exposed Arabella, even the mainstream press have begun to report on this scandalous story. As this book reveals, Arabella is a major player in battles over Supreme Court nominations, environmentalism, abortion, Medicare for All, fake local news outlets, “Zuck Bucks” that manipulate election offices, lawsuits brought by Democratic super-lawyer (and Steele dossier booster) Marc Elias, and much more.

The money is staggering. In the 2018 election cycle, Arabella’s nonprofits took in $1.2 billion, more than double the fundraising of the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee combined. In the 2020 election cycle, Arabella’s fundraising spiked to $2.4 billion.

This mountain of money explains why the left-leaning major media are alarmed. Arabella is “the indisputable heavyweight of Democratic dark money,” warns the Atlantic. A “dark-money behemoth,” says Politico. An “opaque network,” says the New York Times, that funnels “hundreds of millions of dollars through a daisy chain of groups supporting Democrats and progressive causes.”

So we can agree, white billionaires meddling in politics are the problem? 🤡
I can wait till it clicks for the author.

Want to know why there are only 3 billionaires on this cover? Because 26 of them donated to Trump's campaign fund.

Timothy Melon: $76 + 50 million
Linda McMahon: $15 million
Diane Hendricks: $6.3 million
Miriam Adelson: $5.8 million
Kelcy Warren: $11+$5.8 million
Timothy Dunn: $5 million
.
.
.
Etc. Etc.

Books like these, and I'm using the term "book" liberally are a clear cut case of belief perseverance and projection.
I dared myself to try to read this and see how far I could get into the slop, it's bad. Laughably so.

You just *know* it's bad when the first chapters of the book bitch about the campaign headed by an organization "demand justice" against Brett Kavanagh outed him as a gang rapist. The author focuses on the "shadiness" of said org.
They go into how they researched them, and just how disgusting it is that orgs can do this.

All of this is catnip for the room temp IQ folks to take the rage bait and say "Hey! With all these mirrors and smoke it's hard to see in here, but Dems are the real problem. We want the rapists- I mean representatives that have our same values."🙈

I couldn't think of a better example of the Republican party, what they represent and what they value. They know that their people suck, and they all have a CVS length receipt of criminal charges, with pedophilia mixed in for good measure.
The party that thrives off of causing widespread suffering, problems and panic. They're all such miserable people, that they write books like this after they've "won". Anything to try to distract people (*cough Epstein) and try to keep themselves relevant.

I picked this up at the library without reading the title carefully. I won't read a book that's got such a blatant agenda and axe to grind. The author started crying about the Supreme Court being harassed to adopt an code of ethics because of liberal Democrats.... Nah.. SCOTUS should have a code of ethics like EVERY other court in the country. Dark Money in politics is flowing in on both sides.. and likely much more on the GOP/MAGA with their Billionaire supporters.. Musk, Mellon, Adelson.
I stopped reading after the introduction bc it was like Fox News in a book. Where is the zero stars? Write a non-biased book about all the Dark Money corrupting all of politics - not some finger pointing "oh my gawd look what the lefties are doing they're so horrible!!"
