How will Julie rule those who don’t recognize her as the Eternal Queen?
Julie has to process her grief over the death of her biological mother while fending off Mordred’s continuing attacks.
Worse, the peace that was tentatively established before the summit shows signs of crumbling, and the Sylthana Elves are making another bid for the throne.
Julie must work out how to protect the world from Mordred and the Wild Hunt and firmly establish peace by getting all the royals of every species to sign a new charter at the peace summit.
Can she come to terms with being the Eternal Queen amid all these challenges?
And will she and Taylor survive to go on their honeymoon?
Plunge into a tale of undulating mysteries, powerful magic, and the eternal dance between despair and hope as Julie seeks to navigate the treacherous waters of loss, leadership, and war.
A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.
My pets... I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.
What I'm working on... I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

I can’t believe it’s over… *sighs and sobs* this series is amazing. EVERY time a new book would come out I would read it instantly. I HIGHLY recommend this book series and I wish I could read it (for the first time) again… now I have to do a big reread of the whole series and laugh, cry, and flush in embarrassment for these characters. 🥰
TW (for the whole series)
Age rating- 12-13+ Violence- I would say there’s a decent amount of violence, but it’s not like dark violence if that makes sense Swearing- *cough cough- Bianca I’m looking at you* some characters have a tendency to be a little more umm… expressive but it’s not that bad, and I filtered it Spice- there’s kissing, it kind of alludes to ✨ it ✨ but it never gets bad, although there are some funny moments Extra: magic! Lots and lots of magic, sooooo if that’s an issue- then don’t read it 😅 Also to all my Christian girlies who don’t read LGBTQ in books (like me, try to avoid!) there is none of that in any of these books!!
There has been a few books series I've read that had every ingredient to make it an awesome read and this book series hit it dead on the head!
I'm kinda sadden right now because this was the last book on Julie and Taylor's great adventure,of love, family, friends, war, chaos and peace! Oh boy what a HEA!
Bravo, Renee and Michael for taking me on an epic adventure. I really enjoyed this series and was thoroughly entertained for all sixteen books! Wow, now that's impressive!
This book was great! It took me through all the emotions, and i cried through half of the book. Bittersweet for this to be the last of the series but was a great ending.
Wow, what a wild ride. This was probably the fastest 16 book series I’ve ever read. From the first book when Julie discovered she was a Lunar Fae through her advancement in the Para-Military, to bonding with a dragon egg, to discovering she is related to Arthur Pendragon and becoming first the heir to the Eternal Throne then the Queen it has been a non-stop adventure. Whether she was fighting dragons, Mordred, and the Wild Hunt among others, she just kept growing in power and maturity. The side characters – Taylor, the Aether Elf she falls in love with, Kaplan, the tiger shifter who was her first boss, Bianca, the succubus (whose boyfriend is Bacchus), who becomes her best friend, her mother Rosa (scary, strange but loving), the werewolves she initially recruited, Genevieve, the 1971 Mustang Mach 1 that has a mind of her own and of course Hat, the magical power that assists her throughout the books. They all made the adventures more enjoyable. These books are full of action, magic, dragons, elves and more, there is humour, suspense, and surprises. This last book has all of the above, especially surprises. There is the problems with her support as queen (Julie has decided the monarch should be elected by an unanimous vote), there is more danger as well. I admit that there were times when I went Oh No! then sighed in relief only to go Oh No again. This was a great ending to the series although there are a couple more series set in this world that I will be reading. Definitely worth reading.
It was the perfect ending (though how I hate endings!), to a series that had me fascinated from start to finish.
Julie Meadow's story has been wonderful to follow, and this book was no different. As usual, with this series, I spent most of the time as I read it, either laughing out loud, feeling totally fixated on every word, or sobbing my heart out with every loss!
When I find a writer whose characters become this real to me, then I hold on to every book I can get, that they've written, and Renée Jaggér is no different.
I really love her style of writing, so have managed to collect every Series she - and also Michael Anderle, with most of them - has written.
With this Series over, I'm going on to a recently finished series, by the pair of them, called: 'Valerie Stonehold', which is set in the same Worlds as the 'Para-Military Recruiters' is.
Book 1 is called: 'Security For Hire', and I'll probably begin reading it after I've had a few hours of sleep (I couldn't stop reading 'Queen', until the very end, so have, once again, read the night away - now, isn't THAT a surprise, not?) Lol
Once I have finished it, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think of it! 👍
Whew! What a ride! The authors have created a complex, layered world fully populated with characters out of myth, legend and nightmare. Sixteen volumes was barely enough to contain all the action, surprises, emotions and discoveries. At its core this series is a love story. Love informs every decision, uplifts and supports every effort, and in the end spreads throughout the worlds because indomitable personalities were willing to give their all. All loose ends gathered, all misunderstandings worked, all richly deserved rewards received. This was so satisfying! Being able to lay hands and eyes on all the books made reading this a rare pleasure. Three solid days of reading like a madwoman to find out what happened next.
Ah, the bittersweet moment of the end of a favorite. Wow, it's hard to believe this series is ending. I was in such a rush for the next book every month.
Perfect ending, of course. Did I cry? Check. Did I laugh? Check. Was I absolutely furious? Check! My top ten is reshuffling again. I will, of course, now reread then entire series while I wait for the next story to begin.
Mr. Anderle, Ms. Jagger, I want to be you when I grow up.
The battle scenes oh my goodness the battle scenes. I have to say that the battle scenes within this book are far more epic because they just put you right there on the front lines with Julia and the others. It’s just way awesome. As I was reading through the battle scenes, I could hear the roar of the battle cries and the clash of armor and weapons of both sides. It was magnificent. So, I highly recommend that you read this book.
This was a random series I picked up. I fell in love with the characters so quick that I was pouring into them all day. I finished an average of 1 book a day. I loved the series so much I have started reading them again out loud to my mother who is enjoying it at a much slower pace. Thank you for giving me something to connect with me mom again.
I give this whole series 10 stars, especially this book. It made me laugh, cry, get angry, sigh in happiness and then do them all over again. I love all the characters and their relationships and the storylines are so awesome. I am going to gift this series to my reading friends when it comes out in a box set and am really looking forward to the next series.
Awesome, fantastic, exciting, entertaining and absolutely enjoyable series!!!!!
Congratulations to Renee Jagger and Michael Anderle for this intriguing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in their stories.
A war like no other requires an even greater sacrifice to win. The friends & family we've met throughout this tale are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Everyone wants that happy ending but where there is light, there must be darkness. And in this case darkness wants what it was promised, the author brings this storyline to it's epic finish.
Although the story is predictable it is still worth the read. What ultimately gives this story 5 stars is one of the most perfect endings I've ever read. It doesn't disappoint!
With the death of Mordred you would think all of Julie's challenges would be done. But the Wild Hunt is still after her and in 10 thousand years no one had ever escaped from them.
A nice ending to the series loved Merlin he was my favourite and the captain.would of liked to see kids and a few cute moments with the friends at the end.think there is other series in the same world.
I really liked this series and lost sleep reading it. Great characters and great stories. I really like the books with Michael anderle co signing the book I will.continue to try to find such books with this co auther
A wonderful book. Almost all of the questions have been answered. Was it a fluke that Julie was drafted? A perfect ending. Only question is who poisoned queen Esmeralda? Hope that is answered in the next series.
I like the relationshipa between the friends, the drama, and battles. This book was exciting. I liked that it had 16 books and each one developed the character and their relationship.
