LOL!

That girl. What a ball of trouble that bounces everywhere. But what an unfolding adventure she is on. I'm so excited to see how all these little clues pan out for the big picture. Leaves on a cliffhanger and just a little bit of foreboding. I'm loving this series and characters!

Ruthless Reign is the third instalment in the Midnight Psychos series by Steph Macca.

I found this one to be a slight downgrade on the previous book in this series, the pacing and overall writing is great, but I feel like the bonding with Cade was very rushed. Obviously it serves its purpose which is to push Maverick to take their own relationship more seriously. I thought the kidnapping arc was pretty pointless, despite it introducing a pivotal character. Regardless, we got good plot development, but it just fell flat for me.

OMG I AM STILL PROCESSING THIS BOOK LIKE WHAT THE HECK 😭🤣 this cliffhanger is going to haunt me for days like Onyx Storm.

But this book definitely picked off where we last saw Nyx in book 2. And the first half was a bit of a whirlwind and there are some surprises. That also becomes understandable on why later.

I love this series so much and can’t wait for book 4 😭💗

Nyx has finally mated all three of her mates, Maverick the brood, Lex the OG, and cade the new theiving mate. this book was mostly Nyx and Cades relationship developing after he had his pack kidnap her! Nyx also met a witch who didn't give us many answers other then right and wrong good and bad punishment from the higher powers yada yada.

we do know the sketchy pack now and Wyatts pack is in danger... ill be sad if anything happens to him or eve as they are nice side characters.

basically we end learning that Nyx's wolf's death is inevitable and will be the catalyst for the impending war... so that sucks a lot.

also im still fairly certain the Lexs beta Knox is a fucking sketch bag working with the bad guys... something about him isn't kosher.

needless to say February cannot come soon enough! im dying to find out how they will win the war!

What kind of cliffy was that?

Thankfully we picked up where we were left with Nyx’s kidnapping because she is in full chaos mode now. Lex and Maverick are trying to rescue their mate, not knowing where she is or who has her. Meanwhile Nyx is being her chaotic self to the Alpha who took her. Really at some point everyone’s going to realize she’s a whole force of nature on her own lol. However when Lex and Maverick show up to save her they discover more than they expected. I liked the new character of Cade and how he interacted with Nyx. Lex is still my favorite and Maverick’s finally peeking his head out of his own behind. But the cliffy wasn’t as bad as last time but it was still enough to shake my head and wonder why I do this to myself with such excitement. 5⭐️2🌶️

I write this five stars because it absolutely has everything you could possibly want and then some! This is such an intriguing and emotional trip. You are gonna feel every emotion possible.!!! She makes you feel like you’re right there, and you know everybody that you’ve met so far and there traits, temperaments, personalities, quirks… I can’t say enough about the storyline and these characters! This is a must read, so do yourself a favor Annd jump into this series start with book 1 and then you’ll get to this one which is book 3 and it’ll make complete sense and you will enjoy the entire ride!!! The fair warning it ends in a killer cliffy… I hate them so much but it also makes me want to read the the final conclusion of the story sooo bad!!!!!

Wow! Another fantastic cliffhanger from Ms. Macca. I could not put this book down and read it in 24 hours. The story picks up right where we left Nyx in book two. She has found herself in the most unusual position. She must use her strength and gifts to help herself out of this current situation. Nyx is a strong and very outspoken FMC. It is fun to read how the Alphas and their Betas handle such a strong individual.

While Nyx is collecting Alpha mates, these wolves couldn’t be more different from one another. I really enjoy reading the complicated relationships being formed and can see how they complement each other. Can’t wait to see how they navigate these newly formed matings. They will all need to work together in the relationship and to solve the wolves' latest problems.

This series just gets better and better, from the spice to the action and the tension of an upcoming conflict between the packs. Still loving Nyx and her ability to irritate the alphas, in addition to Daxton, Lex and Maverick, there’s now also Cade, though he seems to irritate Nyx more than she does him. The characters have developed so much and I love how uncertain Nyx is in her forthcoming role, not that we’re even sure what that is. And then a death premonition right at the end! Way to stop my heart!!!

Nyx's story continues, and let me tell you... I was pulled in right away!
This series keeps getting more exciting and this book didn't disappoint!
With truths being revealed, more action, danger, and lots of spice. I couldn't wait to read more!
I like Nyx even more in this book.
Then we have Cade added to the picture.
I'm really enjoying the banter and tension between them all. It was also good to see some character growth as well.

Then we have that ending!! I'm gonna need more as soon as possible, please!!

Another great addition to the series. The story is well paced, and each new development adds to the overall world and desire to keep reading. Nyx and her alphaholes, who are all wonderfully scrumptious and endearing. I love her character and the fact that she’s a feisty FMC yet also is growing nicely as the books go on. The MMCS are all fun, and I like that they all have very different personalities. The addition of side characters is also nicely included .

Looking forward to the next addition and the resolution of the cliffhanger ending!

Ok I am not ok with that ending!! I NEED the last book NOW. The chills that I got at the end. Nyx really has her work cut out at being a Luna and three every different Alpha to contend with. We learn more about the threats to the packs and see her new connection develop.
I really enjoy the addition of Cade and is playful personality. I did feel like the book was short and these could have been combined. Can’t wait for the next one.

Hot sexy Alphaholes and plot for days

This was a great third instalment of the midnight psychos quartet. There’s a new sense of mystery, great plot and character development and just enough spice to keep things interesting hehe.

I’m really enjoying Steph’s fast paced writing that is full of action and intrigue, omegaverse might just be my new favourite fantasy genre.

Loses one star for being too short (yes I want more) and one or two instances of awkward dialogue.

I honestly devour anything that Steph Macca publishes and this was no exception! I love the romance, I like the different characters, I love that the different males feel different, that it’s super easy to tell them apart. I like the plot, it really kept me invested in reading, and Macca’s writing is always well done! Highly recommend her books, and this series! So good!

Oh what a book! Nyx has been kidnapped and has no idea who took her. In this book we have some surprises and twists. I loved Nyx and her men! Maverick took me a bit but I really loved him in this book. Nyx is such a strong and fiesty character, she keeps her mates on their toes and always guessing. Cade is a new character and I adore him, he is probably my favorite after Lex. This series has been so amazing and quite the ride! I can not wait for the final book!

When you don’t think it can get better…..

Boy are you wrong! Thanks to a quick, ‘remember this happened at the end of book 2’, off we went.

Hot dang was this one great. A kidnapping, new mate, enemy figured out, and a cliffhanger that smacks you in the face and doesn’t say sorry.

Nyx needs to get ready for the final war, but can anything prepare her and her mates for what is coming?

Sooogood….. the story was never stale and the heat was fire.

Surprise surprise she loves to kill us with her Cliffhangers. Just when you think things wouldn't get more complicated with Nyxs you get to go on another roller coaster in her story. This booked sucked me and the next I knew cliffy. This is book 3 and the others need to be read in order to understand. I've loved reading Nyxs form with her alphas. Must read.

Well we’re one step closer to finding out who is attacking and why packs are disappearing… but now there’s new questions to be answered!

This part of the story is full of angst, lots of banter and some spice. I’m enjoying the character development, and the various POVs to give us further insight into the thoughts of the mates.

NOOOOO! How could it leave me hanging with that bomb of a cliffhanger?! Maverick is slowly starting to come around to the idea of having a Luna and having to share her. Then another mate is made known! And Just when we think that Nyx and the guys are getting a step ahead in the right direction in finding out who is responsible for the vanishing packs, Lydiana has another premonition that shatters everything. I have no idea how this is going to end but I’m here for it!
