I don't usually like gay romances. First of all, I don't relate to them. Second of all, most of the time they involve friends to lovers. And no hate to any gay romance lovers. I'm a proud supporter of the LGBTQ community and I do admit I am 50% gay myself, however, sometimes I can't imagine myself doing any of the stuff the characters do and most often than not I am intimidated to read gay romances for this same reason. However, the instant my gay romance lover friend recommended this book for me I knew there had to be something different about it. Also, I figured it was a short novella and I had gotten spoiled so many times for books and series I was not too intimidated by it.

Now, after reading this book I can safely agree with my friend that it does not receive the credit it deserves and is indeed underrated. While it does feel a little quick-paced, I feel like that worked well for a novella that was fortunately not slow burn. Sadly, though, I could not feel any of the revenge-seeking desire Mustang had and I would have liked to see an example of the suffering and torment he felt. At least to understand him even better, even if I already liked him from the beginning. I felt like most of the book was the romance that sparked between Mike and Jenson instead of the intense hatred they supposedly felt for each other, even though it was revealed throughout the books that the hatred came from the desire that they could not express to each other.

The smut was also pretty good, and it changed my vision regarding gay smut. I liked how both of the men did not pull back from engaging in the behavior they wished to take on when they were younger. Overall, even if the book was pretty short and entertaining there were still defects giving it the rating I chose. I would recommend this for other readers searching for not only a good gay romance, but some spice and drama that is definitely worth the while.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but I found her on accident on tiktok, and I just kept seeing her videos. Decided to go on her website and found out that she had this novella for free to download, so I did. I feel like that was the best choice I've made, and now I'm about to buy more and can't wait to get them. I didn't know I would like a M/M love story, but boy, was I wrong.. this book is everything! It's got the spice and the sass. Honestly, I wish I could find me someone who would love me as much as these two love each other. I've said it once, and I'll say it again, IM IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK AND CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!

Jenson’s car starts making this weird loud sound. So of course he takes it to the closest shop that the very person he bullied just so happens to work at. But like dominos things just keep happening. One thing leads to another now Mustang has him on his knees for him. Nothing with them is easy but the best things in life hardly ever are I liked them but when chase called Jenson out on his shit all I could do was toast to him. The garage knew what it was when he walked back in. I love a novella who gives the same feel as reading a whole book in just a few chapters but you don’t feel like you missed out on anything.

Thoughts
This is the perfect novella in my opinion. Even with the short number of pages it had plot, spice, drama, twist and so much tension between the characters. The anger and tension between Jenson and Mustang's story were everything I needed. The suspense plot through me because I did not see it coming. Perfect!!!!!

Not the typical book I usually read and I’m not sure why he has to be a “gay” biker but that didn’t bother me. There wasn’t much biker club action in it, mostly just sex related but I do like happy endings! I’d like to hear more about Cy or Tigger but it is what it is. Hoping the next book in the series is a better story line.

I liked the concept of this book, I do feel like Mustang should’ve had a whole book and not just a small novella. I was disappointed with the second part of the book. We didn’t even get to see the wedding part and on top of that Jenson shouldve been more upset about his co-worker guy trying to sleep with this boyfriend that he knew Jenson was going to propose to on the trip. But I did love the chemistry between Mustang and Jenson in the first half of the book. I understood why Mustang got upset sitting alone in the hotel waiting for Jenson to show up, sitting alone with nothing but your thoughts is always a bad combination. Jenson should’ve thought about that.
