Pierre Makyo ou Makyo, de son vrai nom Pierre Fournier, est un scénariste et dessinateur de bande dessinées. Il est né le 16 juillet 1952 à Dunkerque (France). Il est le frère du scénariste de bande dessinée Toldac.

NB this is NOT the same Pierre Fournier who worked for Hara-Kiri & Charlie-Hebdo, nor the Pierre Fournier from Québec.

This was the first French BD I read around 1996 or a little later. It was attempt to get my head around the language, the real language far removed from textbooks. Loved it then. Loved it now. The art stood out and stayed. The story too. It is the start of a captivating journey, in every sense of the word. A delight. Enjoy!
