Andrew Warren was born in New Jersey, but currently resides in the warmer climate of Southern California. He studied film, English and psychology at the University of Miami, and has over a decade of experience in the television and motion picture industry, where he has worked as a post-production supervisor, story producer and writer.

His passion for writing and traveling led Andrew to Japan. As soon as he set eyes on the country he fell in love with it, and felt compelled to use it as the setting for a series of novels. It took a few years, but Tokyo Black was the result of that trip.

Andrew’s writing skills have seen him write for Youtube Red's "Fight of the Living Dead," MangoTV's "Sons of Earth", and Discovery's "True Nightmares".

His love of the Far East extends to all varieties of Asian cuisine, and he scours Southern California looking for the best ramen, dumplings and beef noodle soup. All in the name or research, of course!

His fascination for the spy thriller genre was born from a love of James Bond films. Growing up, he knew that he was never going to be a muscle-bound giant, like Schwarzenegger or Stallone. Instead, he opted for charm and sophistication, with a smattering of brains and super-cool spy gadgets.

When he’s not working or writing classic spy thrillers, Andrew likes to relax at home with his pet dachshund, Ares, and his cat, Mina. He is currently working on the next Thomas Caine thriller, which will be set in East Africa.

Wow! To say that it was fast-paced and totally captivating would not even do it justice. Filled with frenetic action and enthralling battleground. A hard to put down, gripping and unpredictable thriller, Caine: Rapid Fire series is a page-turning action thriller that will leave you breathless. This fresh and exciting action hero with his personal life challenges will have you turning pages late into the night.
I found myself hooked from the very first chapter and flying through those pages like there was no tomorrow!

The plot is intricately woven, keeping me on the edge of my seat with unexpected twists and turns.
The pacing is perfect, maintaining a balance between action-packed sequences and moments of reflection. Moreover, the writing style is engaging and accessible, making it easy to connect with the story and the characters.

A thrilling espionage adventure that had me hooked from the very first page. and this book deserves every one of its 5 stars.

An exciting, suspenseful, and thrilling read! I highly recommend this excellent series.

I am a big fan of Thomas Caine, and this book left me wanting to know the next mission in the next book!

This book begins with two sentences I bet not many of us contemplate: “It was easier to kill at night … Darkness was every assassin’s ally.” While Caine is highly effective on his own, there are two other CIA agents with him on this mission. They are in Roskilde Denmark chasing a traitor who is running with a briefcase full of secrets the Russian FSB and the Chinese MSS would pay a fortune for. None of the three agents know exactly what’s in that briefcase. And Caine’s gut is telling him something is wrong, that he’s missing something. And that’s only part of Chapter One!!

It really was hard to put the book down at any point after Chapter One … you’ll want to read it cover to cover too!

Lethal Action -a review by Rosemary Kenny.

A Thomas Caine Rapid Fire series novel by Andrew Warren and Aiden Bailey, Lethal Action starts with CIA Agent Caine going international with a vital mission from the US to Denmark and beyond, to catch a traitor.
I liked the assassin Anja's backstory of her traumatic childhood and training by her controller, before coming up to the present day, as the story continues in a dual time line.
Who'll win the deadly race to the unforeseen ending?
Read Lethal Action to find out!

Another exciting Thomas Caine action thriller that I couldn't put down. He's on the hunt for a traitor but he is also being hunted. Non-stop action, interesting characters, and I even found myself rooting for a bad guy (girl). Definitely recommend this series.

Lethal Action is a high-octane explosive read a novel by Andrew Warren. An attache case which holds vital and sensitive material which could start WW3, but the problem is that all the big boys want it MSS FSB etc, if whoever gets the briefcase cannot just open it, as it will self-destruct if the wrong code is put in right and no one person has the code. Caine does his best but even if he gets the briefcase he will have to look after himself as it's kill or be killed.
The characters are well-defined, and the read reminds me a bit of Mission Impossible where a lot is going on simultaneously.
I was given an ARC to read and the review is entirely mine and mine alone, but it is action-packed and hard to put down.

The CIA tasks Caine to hunt a corrupt bureaucrat and retrieve stolen documents. But not only the CIA wants those documents, but also the Russians and Chinese. An action packed hunt begins and Caine and Tyler become part of spectacular car and helicopter chases around northern Europe, hunted by a MSS operative and a mysterious Russian assassin, Vodyanoy. Both are very well drawn characters and I really hope, we'll see Vodyanoy again some time in the future. Another action packed page-turner by Andrew Warren and Aiden Bailey in the Rapid Fire series!

Andrew Warren's Lethal Action is a killer of a book!

OK, a corrupt bureaucrat desires to sell secret information and CIA agent Thomas Caine has been tasked to retrieve it. His orders: Retrieve it. The problem with it: unless you know the correct function to open it, it will blow you up.

However, agents from Russia and China are also on the hunt.

This is one exciting and bullet-filled hunt by Caine as he faces the two foreign agents. Heads-up; you'll find it difficult to stop reading once you start.

Kind of felt like you were dropped in the middle of an op as it was one from Caine's past. Caine and friend Tyler with handler Emily are after a briefcase being shopped to the enemy by a traitor but was he working alone?. It's a short novella, with lots of action and gives background on the Russian Assassin and how she came to be.

Caine is in a race to get the case with FSB and the Chinese also on the hunt. The main storyline was ok but it needed more meat to the story.

About a 2.5.

Lethal Action, a gripping read

I stumbled on Tokyo Black in September, in the proceeding 6 weeks I have stormed through all of Andrew Warrens books. A fantastic writer with a talent for using effective narrative to create vivid images of the scenes in which the story unfolds, with the addition of subtle twists and linking of historic points in the characters the current storyline. A joy to read, just be prepared to get lost in the story and let your partner, and your boss know, that you won’t be available for a few weeks…

Great spy thriller. Thomas Caine is looking for a brief case that an American double agent is trying to sell for $20,000,000. It supposedly contains extremely sensitive information that could ignite a major incident. Crosses and double crosses keep this an edge of the our seat thrill ride. I did receive a copy of the book early.

Globe trotting agent Caine is after a briefcase with something the Chinese and the Russians also want. Chases and fights galore as the Chinese assassin has a history with Caine. A history he wants to end.

Meanwhile, the Russian Assassin, a beautiful woman is having seconds thoughts about her life.

Very exciting from page one!

it’s always cold

The story gives an interesting history of a Russian assassin as background to a hunt for a briefcase believed to hold the names of many CIA operatives. The Russians, the Chinese and the CIA are all after it. The ensuing hunt leaves a steady stream of dead bodies as the Russian assassin flees from everyone, including her own handler. ENJOY!

I didn’t like this one as well as some of the others. Others had Aiden Bailey as author. He apparently teamed up with Andrew Warren or vice versa…unclear. I am definitely in the minority.

Great story

Multiple twists and Great ending. However too much time spent setting historical backstory. Does a
good job of setting context for future books.
