The way I stayed up til midnight reading this in the dark yall
I love reading about the terras and then fighting these crazy killer plants AND NOW THE XANS
Oooooooo it had everything I wanted
and by now yall know there’s a love triangle and I was like OOOOOOO
but now I’m over jt and want Kassia to stop being dumb and choose the boy WHO IS THE OBVIOUS BETTER PICK
like I was getting mad at her for rejecting the guy I want her to choose
But the author said this is a slow burn and it’s the slowest burn ever
Book 4 better deliver
And I know it will because of the last few chapters teehee

Alright, if you love the first two Girl on Fire books, then Embers Burning is going to be your new passion. The author seriously knows how to crank up the drama and keep you hooked. Kassia’s situation changes in unexpected ways, and the stakes are even higher. There are new faces, more romance, and the action? Its non-stop. I was racing through the pages way past midnight, with a 5am start at work, but I didn’t care. Embers Burning totally rocks. Can’t wait to see what the author does in the final book, Phoenix Rising!

This is the kind of book you'll want to read in one sitting. It’s fast paced, gripping, and has appealing characters who you really care about. I kept expecting the plot to go in a certain direction, but it constantly twisted and went in directions that were exhilarating and surprising.
