Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. The contract marriage is renewed, but with it comes the realization that feelings are growing but remain hidden. Times are dangerous as a plot is discovered to ruin lives. Heartbreaking scenarios will have you wanting to fix everything, especially when true feelings lie just below the surface. Tension becomes high as plots are uncovered and an unforeseen accident leaves memory loss and emotional turmoil.

This is book 4 in the series where Julia becomes CEO of Grant's company and Grant is
running for the Senate. Then Julia is in a car accident and loses her memory.Crazy Kyle is trying to win her over and Grant's ex wife Lydia is trying to cause trouble there is suspence in this book but it is also a fun read.

Battle with a Billionaire is book 4 in the Hearts and Holding Series by Neille Steele. I found this book to be fast paced with unexpected surprises. I love the characters and Nellie Steele brings them to life. DC Industries is still playing havoc with Grant and his family. Julia discovers one of the DC players, but an accident wipes het memory. This book had love, suspense, betrayal, and hate....can Grant and Julia survive?.

In just over a year, Julia Stanton Harrington has dealt with more than her requisite share of trauma. A contract marriage to billionaire Grant Harrington should have been smooth sailing. Instead they have faced trumped up murder charges, corporate espionage, explosions, kidnappings, long lost family members, and other accidents. Behind quite a lot of it is the nefarious DG Industries, who are determined to bring Grant down. But who they are and why he’s a target has been a well hid mystery. Through it all, Julia has stood beside Grant, the model of a loving wife. With Grant launching his Senate campaign, he establishes Julia as interim CEO of Harrington Global, extending her contract for another year. Grant and Julia have definitely developed feelings for each other, but neither are able to admit it. Grant’s daughter, Sierra, would like nothing more than her step-mommy to stay forever, having bonded with Julia. Grant’s previously unknown son, Kyle, however, wants Julia for himself and constantly oversteps boundaries with her, including a kiss. Convinced that Grant is controlling and abusive, he’s determined to win her to his side.

When she finally awakens the only memory she has is the kiss with Kyle. Panicked and desperate to regain her memories, she begins to lean on Kyle more. Grant fears losing her but doesn’t wish to hurt her more. He even withdraws from the Senate race. But as Julia slowly remembers everything including her bond with Grant, she’s blackmailed by the villain with threats to her own and Sierra’s reputation. The book ends with Julia revealing all to Grant so that they can turn the tables on the treachery that’s too close to home.
Nellie Steele continues to ramp up the tension and trauma to her hero & heroine in book 4 of Hearts & Holding. While the villain probably won’t come as a surprise to many readers, it is clear that they are not working alone. Who else is involved and what their motivations are remains to be seen. I was quite pleased to see Julie come clean to Grant about the threats rather than try to solve things are her own. Kyle remains a thorn in everyone’s side but he did come to a tentative truce with Grant after Julie suffers another injury in his presence. While I’m occasionally frustrated with all the roadblocks to a happily ever after for the Harringtons, Ms. Steele is such a talented writer that I’m willing to trust her in the driver’s seat for the next 4 books as her vision plays out. Like an episodic tv show, these books should be read in order and will have you on a roller coaster of emotions along with the characters.

And so here we are with book 4.
The story starts off so well, flowing seamlessly from the end of Bargain with A Billionaire. The turmoil of the triangle between Grant, Julia and Kyle seems never to have an end. Grant will not take the chance he needs to take, Kyle cannot stop himself from not wanting to listen to Dad or hold back from Julia, and Julia, well she is so nice and wants to be everything to everyone in a world where she upsets nobody and sees every side to any situation, always there with a good word and emotional sticky tape.
But underneath all this there is DG Industries, and that ball of poison -Lydia.
Add to this mixture, the return of a previous character who now is to show their true colours, the stresses and issues of the senate race and Julia finding her feet as a CEO.
Give it a good stir for fifteen minutes and put it in the oven at the right temperature, add a zing from a master writer and a new astounding story unfolds.
No everything is coming together so well, the story is unfolding in such a controlled manor, we almost have the last main character in the frame, then....BANG.....then nothing.
Now this story starts, with all the screams, shouting, terror, sorrow, happiness, and venom.
Nellie truly shows us her craft as she puts together a beautiful clean version of a real heart wrecking romance story. Yes, you can have such a wonderful love/romance story without a single moan, groan, or twang of knicker elastic. But she still puts you through the wringer with a full wrestle with all our emotions.
You will want to slap Grant, send Kyle off on a spaceship with a ticking bomb, take Julia in your arms and have words, at times hug Sierra and as for Worthington - The King Of Discretion....you want him as your best friend or your own personal butler...an amazing man!
As for Sylvia - I will let you make your own mind up if it is euthanasia or the firing squad for this poisonous woman.
I am so glad I discovered Nellie Steele. Each series is as good as the last, she knows just how to craft a story and bring the reader along on the journey, whatever the genre, and all this in a clean format.
I really cannot recommend this forth book strongly enough. And I swear, book six can’t come soon enough for my collection, and yours as well.

This book picks up where book three ended, with his wife Julia agreeing to extend their agreement of a contractual marriage for another year and to assume the role of interim CEO of Harrington Global while Grant pursues a career in politics. The set of circumstances surrounding family is, to say the least, complicated in differing ways. Adding to the turmoil, the mysterious DG Industries is out to destroy Grant, his company, and his family. Grant has no idea who is behind the conspiracy. Julia is determined to solve the puzzle and bring the dangerous secret to light, but when she discovers the truth and finds it’s closer than she or anyone could imagine, she realizes her whole family is in danger. Before Julia can act on her surprising revelation, she is involved in an automobile accident, wiping her memory clear of all she knew from her past. The story was brimming with suspense, tension, and intrigue. One minute you’re angry and the next you are reaching for a tissue. Cleverly written and unpredictable, I often found myself cheering Julia on to solve the puzzle of who is behind DG Industries and to get her memory back intact. This was a page-turner and I enjoyed every minute of it. Surprises continue to percolate and lead to unexpected twists and turns. I enjoyed reading this book and following the intricate world of Julia and her unpredictable sham of a marriage. I would assuredly recommend this book and series to everyone. Grant and Julia have gone under contract for another year of being married and another $5 million dollars. Julia has also been promoted to CEO of Harrington Global, while Grant runs for Senate.
Kyle has admitted that he loves Julia and kissed her. Kyle was trying to investigate DG Industries and had gotten arrested. He was following Alexander Knight probably to help Julia out, so she thought she was to blame for him being arrested. So, he called Julia to come and bail him out of jail. She went to Grant for help with Kyle and they are going to the jail to get him out.
Julia is still trying to get information on DG Industries, and she is spying when she sees someone headed to meet Alexander Knight. Oh, wow she cannot believe what she is seeing. Wait until I tell Grant! She called and left a message for Grant that she knew who the mole was working with DG Industries. Then she was on her way home and a car broad-sided her car. Julia is headed to the hospital for emergency surgery, when she gets to the emergency room she flat-lines on the table and it is up to Kyle and the nurses to bring her back. After she has her surgery, they put her into an induced coma to help her heal and get some rest. When she wakes up, she does not remember anything or anyone.
Will Julia be, okay? What do they go from there? Will her memory ever come back? Was her accident someone trying to kill her because of what she saw? All of our answers are in this fantastic book, and I know you are going to love reading it.

This book was a wild ride as all of the books in this series have been!! Nellie Steele is an amazing writer, and I’m hooked on this series. The suspense, plot twists, and intriguing characters keep me coming back for more. Grant’s love for Julia is so tender and sweet, but also new and seemingly fragile. He’s been through so much, and his love life was a huge disappointment until she came along. She is such a grounding a peaceful force in his life. He knows he wants her and needs her to stay forever. Julia is amazing! She’s such a comfort and mediator for the people in her life, but I don’t think she realizes the impact she has on each one of them from the butler to the mean ex-wife and everyone in between. Fun characters like whiny Sierra and Crazy Kyle add so much to the charm of this book! This read was too good to put down and kept me up half the night. I couldn’t sleep until I knew the conclusion.

REALLY Grant? Really Julia? How can y’all be doing this to me still?! Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad to see them still together, but denying their feelings while drawing out the contact is just killing me. Not to say this story isn’t a captivating, emotional ride in its own right. The stakes keep getting higher, and Steele knows how to keep you hooked, from start to finish. I just desperately wanted to see them admit their feelings for each other, and when Julia loses her memory, my heart was absolutely sank. The characters keep growing and evolving, and new players keep appearing on the scene. I’ve really come to love Grant and Julia, and I can’t wait to see them get a HEA (I will cry if they don’t). I don’t want to say too much, but if you’ve been reading the series, then you’ll understand why I’m rushing off to read book five! (And you really do need to start with book one, each book builds off the one before it).

This is book four of the Hearts and Holdings series and it gets better with each book. If you haven’t read any of it I recommend that you rectify the situation immediately.
After all the drama of the last year you would think that Julia and Grant had been subjected to all that one couple could take but not so.
As this story unfolds we learn that people are more resilient than we might imagine.
The description of amnesia in this book has been well researched and its effects well described.
I found the ending a cliff hanger and can hardly wait for the next book to find out what happens next.

As this series keeps unfolding the books keep getting better and better. I finished reading this book in under 8 hours because once I began reading it I couldn't and wouldn't put it down. Nellie has written a masterpiece of a book in this series and so if you are looking for your next weekend book a thon, I suggest you start with book number 1 in the Hearts and Holdings Billionaire Romance series. They will keep your weekend booked for sure.

More drama and intrigue play out in this 4th book following Grant and Julia in their complicated marriage and family life. The story moves along quickly with several twists making it a page turner. Definitely a cliff hanger and you need to start the series from the beginning to fully understand the dynamics. Looking forward to the next in series.

I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading Battle with a Billionaire I didn't want to put it down. A definite page turner. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I recommend reading this book! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This is so good! I love this series so far. I love the twists and turns the story takes. Still great characters! Great plot to keep the series going.

These characters are so well developed now that there is room to add some more suspense and drama into the plot. Excited to see what happens next in their story!

Loved reading the exciting and entertaining fourth book in the series. After Julia's car accident, she can't remember the past year being married to Grant and her stepdaughter, Sierra, but she does remember a couple of things about Kyle including a kiss, where he lives, and the code into his apartment. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and must read riveting story. Can't wait to read the next story in the series by the amazing & awesome author, Nellie H. Steele!
