He's sworn off women for the wrong reasons. She doesn’t know that she’s the right reason. As tinsel hangs from Christmas trees, Chad figures it out…but will it be before he hears his star patient flatline?
No, don’t even talk to me about it. I’m a heart surgeon, not some fly-by-night playboy that sleeps with every chick that I meet. In fact, I don’t even date, not that my schedule suggests it, anyway. Especially when I’m playing double-time, dressing up as Santa Claus for the hospital, and for the Ford brothers. But when Ginger comes into the picture, showing up seemingly to meet with her nurse friend, India, there are moments when I wish that she was more than just a coworker’s pal. When she witnesses me at a weak moment, she sees something in me that nobody else has seen before. And then I learn something about her that both freaks me out and makes me wonder why God hasn’t brought her to me sooner…and I don’t know how to deal with it.

I fly to Sweden with him, even though India tells me I’m crazy. But it’s for business, as I keep telling myself. It’s always been about business with me, and, evidently, with Chad, too. Until we do something akin to a movie scene about the mile high club, and all bets are off. Chad doesn’t want me any more than I want him. We both have our careers to think about, and he has the added bonus of trying to save lives. But something has crossed over in both of us, and there’s no turning back. Except when someone’s heart is at stake…and this time Chad doesn’t know how to fix it…because it’s not something that can be fixed with surgery, since it’s a matter of the heart…and it’s his own heart, too.

4.5 ⭐s He never thought he'd ever find someone like her.
This book does end in a huge cliffhanger!
Chad Hopkins is a renowned heart surgeon. He loves playing Santa at North Carolina General Hospital. In fact, he owns two Santa suits complete with padding and wigs. He's supposed to be on vacation, but he stays near, so if a patient needs him, he'll be there. His last real vacation was when he was in med school. Dedication to his patients is also why he's never been involved with a woman. It wouldn't be fair to her. Besides, he's also a billionaire, so do women want him for himself, his money, or his prestige as a doctor?
Ginger owns an online software consulting business. She's friends with India, one of the nurses at the hospital. She's quiet and shy while also having the innocence of a child. What he doesn't know is since she turned thirty-two, the part of her brain urging her to settle down and have children has come alive and is still on the prowl three years later.
Chad notices she's been around more often lately. While she says she's only there to see India, he's certain she's there to see him. He's even okay with that. In fact, if anyone could make him rethink his no dating policy, it would be her.
Two of his best friends are Garrett and Dalton Ford. He met them the night their father, Wren, was brought into the hospital. Unfortunately, Wren's heart problems were so far advanced that not even his expertise couldn't have saved him. Garrett was recently dumped by Nora, an ICU nurse at the hospital. Garrett's grief is helping Chad fight against his attraction to Ginger.
His concern for a patient, Maggie, is tearing him apart. The tiny seven-year-old girl needs heart surgery and a valve replacement. Unfortunately, after a long surgery, it was determined that an artificial valve won't work for Maggie. She'll have to go on the transplant list. How do you pray for a child, or an adult, to be able to find a match knowing that the organ received means the death of someone else? Ginger finds him after the surgery, and he's given a glimpse of how much she could add to his life.
Ginger to the rescue! She reaches out to her clients, and a woman in Sweden replies. Her husband, a retired doctor, developed a procedure. The two of them make a quick trip to Sweden. The procedure works!
Just as Chad and Ginger begin to discover that love can be a possibility for them, they attend a Christmas party hosted by the Fords. There Chad's childhood friend, Shane, places Ginger in mortal danger!

This just sucked me in! Chad is a heart surgeon. One of the best there is. His whole life is about his patients. He doesn't have time for anything or anyone else. That wouldn't be fair to someone. But there's a woman who comes to the hospital to see her friend, who is a nurse. She's been coming around more often lately, it seems. He loves seeing her, but it doesn't matter. He still doesn't have time for someone. No matter how beautiful. Ginger goes to the hospital to see her friend. She has for years, but she can't deny she's been visiting more often. She likes seeing Chad, too. He's pretty hot. And he really cares about his patients. He wears a Santa suit pretty well too. To see how he interacts with the kids is adorable. But Chad has been extra stressed lately. He has a particular patient, a 7 year old girl, who has a valve defect. She'll die without surgery to fix it. But when he opens her up, he finds out that he can't fix it. Now she has no hope except to get a new heart. Slim to none odds. She needs a Christmas miracle. As he's grieving outside the hospital, Ginger sees him. She wants to console him, but he seems like he needs space to process. All of a sudden, he sees her and walks to her. She thinks he's going to be mad, but he just takes her hand, and they get in his car and go to his place. And they definitely do some consoling... After that, neither of them really knows where they stand, but they do help each other, as friends, and slowly become more. Chad realizes that Ginger is just there for him, not expecting anything. She's just there. In a way no one else has been before. He's surprised to realize that he loves her. He goes to her for comfort, or to share the triumphs. He misses her when she's not there. And she helps him find that miracle. This was very emotional, and you could really feel Chad's frustration. And his elation, too, when things went well. It goes to show you that we can't be an island. Even if you think you don't have room in your life, the right person can fill in the empty spaces you don't even know are there. Great story. I wasn't ready for it to be over, and jumped right into the next one!

This is book four in The Christmas with The Ford Brothers and it is Chad and Ginger’s story and it is definitely a must read. Chad is a heart surgeon and his job is the most important thing in his life because saving the lives of his patients is the hardest but most inspiring thing ever but now he had lost a bet and had to dress up and be Santa while giving out presents to all the children in the hospital and with Chad being a confirmed bachelor and had no time for a relationship because his job completely consumed him and no matter how beautiful and cute he found Ginger he just couldn’t go there because it would never work with the job that he does. Ginger owns her own online software consulting business and she is doing so well that she had become really successful but when she goes to the hospital to visit her best friend India at the hospital Ginger ends up meeting Chad and she is instantly attracted to him but unfortunately he seems emotionally unavailable and the last thing that she needs is too get her heart broken. Chad and Ginger are so attracted to each other and the chemistry between them is so strong but when something happens and Chad is really upset they end up spending a explosive time together but Chad is determined that they can only be friends because he doesn’t have time for anyone else in his life but sometimes a Christmas Miracle is all that is needed and it could change so many lives in the process. Chad and Ginger are so perfect together and for each other and that connection just gets stronger because the more time that they spend together trying to come up with a successful solution that could save lives they end up finding out that they have so much in common regarding their work and how dedicated they are but will it be enough to make them realise that they have a special bond and to take a chance of being together and having the future that they both want and deserve. I absolutely loved this book and I read it in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down and it brought out all your emotions with everything that was happening and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing and addictive series.
Chad is the third book in the Christmas with the Ford Brothers series that I absolutely enjoyed reading from beginning to end. Author Sandra Alex has done a phenomenal job with the way she created this amazing holiday romance. She continues to captivate my attention with her amazing storytelling and writing skills and her amazing romance books. This is the story of Chad and Ginger who are absolutely entertaining, enjoyable to get to know as the main characters, interesting, and absolutely intriguing all at the same time. I immediately fell in love with both of Chad and Ginger as well as watching their love come to fruition. I absolutely LOVE that Chad and Ginger’s story has a happily ever after with them being together and happy with each other. I would absolutely HIGHLY recommend this amazing holiday romance to anyone. I can’t wait to read more amazing books by this fabulous author.

The characters in this book were full of life and drew me into their experiences with ease. Chad is a heart surgeon specialist, and Ginger developed and owns a computer software company. There is a romantic component of the book that parallels the dramatic turns of events, and they both kept Mr glued to the pages.
Chad is a heart doctor with true empathy for his patients, a diffuse thing to be in a field with such a high mortality rate. He's dedicated his life to his education and his career, believing relationship would distract from his patients, when Ginger gets herself involved (where she really shouldn't have), what happens to all his well structured rules and guidelines?
I received a gift copy of this book and highly recommend it to others. I voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
Chad is one of the Ford brothers who is a doctor with no time for romance that is until he connects with Ginger. He is closed off, but the connection is there between them. Getting hurt by him is the last thing Ginger wants in her life considering Chad's behavior. When they go on a business trip together Chad and Ginger finally get a chance to make a connection between them. This well written story is filled with wonderful twists that had me cheering on Brad and Ginger as they navigated their journey. Will it lead them along the road to happiness.

I love a little Christmas and the miracles that it can bring, I unquestionably loved this book Chad believed he could never be in a relationship, his job was his life aswell as his patience until Ginger. Ginger was very busy with her company and her best friend, Ginger worked hard to get her company up and running and now being the boss it gives her the perks of being able to take off anytime. Chad could go to Ginger's house when he had a bad day she would comfort him and be there for him. The Christmas they will never forget.

Another couple finding their groove for the holiday season. This is Chad and Ginger's story. Who would have thought the perfect match for a workaholic is another workaholic. Chad is a world recognized heart surgeon. Ginger is a software developer/business owner. Together, they balance each other perfectly as they mold theor lives around one another. I loved getting to know these two characters as the various glimpses of all the other characters. What i least expected was the ending that left my heart in my throat. Happily, addicted to more. Enjoy!.

Chad and Ginger - so completely different. There's a ton of chemistry between them, but they're not sure if they want to be more than friends. My favorite part is that they bring out the best in each other. There's a cliffhanger as always, but the author will tidy that situation up in the next book. Patiently waiting for Shane. I received a copy of this book from the author, and this is my honest review.
Chad is Book 3 of Christmas with the Ford Brothers. It's a steamy one and ends on a series cliffhanger!!
Chad is a hunky surgeon not looking for a relationship. Ginger owns a software consulting company. The two meet at the hospital when he is playing Santa. These two had insane chemistry but had some baggage to deal with.
OMG, that cliffhanger... I can't wait to read Shane's book!.

Chad and Ginger's story has lots of heart, literally. He's a heart surgeon with a sick patient at Christmas and Ginger helps him find a way to help her. A steamy and sexy read with great banter between friends and family, of course with multiple Ford family members around too.
