In college for journalism, it wasn’t six months after graduation that Rose landed herself a job as a field reporter, also putting her right in the middle of the war.
Although married, their paths don’t cross but a handful of times in fifteen years.
This is a story of love, dedication, and the culmination of events that set the Cerberus MC into existence.

Marie James is a mother of two boys and wife of 17 years. She's spent most of her life lifetime living in central Texas, with only short stays in South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. Her passions include reading everything under the sun and sewing, although she doesn't get to sew much these days!.

A quick read (it’s a novella). The beginning of the Cerberus MC series. I’ve been reading this series for years now and it’s one of my all time favorites so going back to the beginning was so nostalgic. The story was moving even in its shorter length. Recommend reading before the other Cerberus MC books

after reading quite a few of the cerberus mc books it was amazing to finally get Doc's story. Gavin and Rose's love starts when they were in Jr high and stands the test of time. Doc spends years in the military on deployment.
Rose spends the time graduating from college and her career as an investigative journalist.

I loved Doc and Rose's story. This couple has been through so much yet it didn't tear them down it made them stronger. I loved getting to see how Cerberus MC all came together. I see a reread of this series in the near future.

This was a story that I didn’t know I needed. Wonderfully written. Informational and fills in some gaps of the Cerberus MC series. Great characters. Makes me want to dive back in on the entire series.
