Sedition

Rate this book
I came to the Urban Rehabilitation Academy for refuge from the Light Kingdom. There was only one thing I had to do—hide my wolves. That’s right. Wolves. Plural. As in two, which is apparently a bad thing.

Not even a whole semester, and I’ve messed up.

One of the Three Kings saw me shift. Neither of my wolves is what other shifters would call normal, but he saw my night wolf—the one who is larger than others and whose fur shimmers with silver threads. Not exactly your typical wolf.

Now he knows, and he will tell the others. Not only will they maybe oust me for my wolf, but someone could alert the Light Kingdom to my location.

Plus, I thought they liked me—all three of them.

One run in the woods might’ve ruined everything for me. Now for damage control—if that’s even possible.

Urban Academy Sedition is the second story in the Urban Academy Rejects series by bestselling author Mazzy J. March. It is a spinoff of the Urban Academy series featuring shifters and other paranormal beings who for various reasons do not fit in with “mainstream” paranormals. Some have dark pasts, others darkness within them, but all have stories waiting to be told and lives that could easily end far too soon. But love is key, and as always Mazzy promises an HEA—eventually.

I loved it!

It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. Welcome to Urban Academy Rejects (Urban Rehabilitation Academy). It is a spinoff of the Urban Academy series featuring shifters and other paranormal beings who for various reasons do not fit in with “mainstream” paranormals. Some have dark pasts, others darkness within them, yet they all have stories waiting to be told and lives that could easily end far too soon, but love is key. This a the story of Kerilis’s journey. She came to the Urban Rehabilitation Academy for refuge from the Light Kingdom. There was only one thing she had to do and that was to hide her two wolves because having two is apparently a bad thing. Not even a whole semester, and she’s messed up, for one of the Three Kings saw her shift. Neither of her wolves are what other shifters would call normal, but he saw her night wolf, the one who is larger than others and whose fur shimmers with silver threads, which is not exactly like your typical wolf. Now he knows, and he will tell the others. Not only will they maybe oust her for her wolf, but someone could alert the Light Kingdom to her location. Plus, she thought that all three of them like her. One run in the woods might’ve ruined everything for her and now for damage control, if that’s even possible. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I highly recommend to everyone.

The second installment of the Urban Academy Rejects series seamlessly picks up where "Renegade" left off, diving deeper into the evolving dynamics between Karelis and her trio of Kings: Adan, Casimir, and Blaze. As their bond strengthens, we delve further into their intricate story, eagerly anticipating the next chapter.

While "Renegade" set the stage, this book delves into the nuances of the overarching narrative, providing essential context and character development. Personally, I found it to be a captivating installment, though more of a bridge between major plot points. I eagerly await the completion of the series so I can immerse myself in the entire journey in one fell swoop. This series promises to be one I'll revisit time and again.

The enthralling tale of Karelis, Adan, Casimir, and Blaze has kept me enthralled from start to finish. Despite Karelis' belief that she cannot have multiple mates, the undeniable connection between them adds layers of complexity and intrigue to the storyline. With its excellent plot and abundant twists, this series has truly captured my imagination, leaving me eagerly awaiting each new installment—even if it means enduring the suspense of a cliffhanger ending.

Our heroine has two different wolves inside her and that causes others to fear her, which is never a comfortable thing to weather. So she tries to hide at the academy for misfits. But staying hidden is a problem as she quickly finds out. Now she has to figure out how to fix the problem, and quickly.

This is book two of the series. It does okay as a standalone, but will be much more enjoyable if read in order.

The story is well written and easy to read, yet with a rather complex and twisted plot involving both a paranormal academy and a reverse harem. The characters are well developed and interesting, with distinct personalities that set each apart and bring the story to life. I like our heroine as she is smart and adaptable which is important as she is learning how to protect herself. Overall, a great addition to the series and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Highly recommended.

This is the second in the Urban Academy Rejects and it started where the first ended. Now I hate cliffhangers but I've got to say this series so far is so good that I don't mind the cliffhangers. The story of Karelis, Adan, Casimir and Blaze has kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the story. Karelis, a shifter with two wolves believes she can not have mates, yet all three men know she is their mate. And someone or something is killing students at the academy and all their lives are in danger. Can Karelis ever share her full truth with her mates and can they keep her protected? Excellent storyline, lots of intrigue and excitement. I am loving this series, even with the cliffhanger ending.

Karelis is hiding from the light Kingdom and from anyone else discovering what she is. Adan, Cas and Blaze recognize her as their mate. She's been made to believe that she will never have a mate.

This one is even more rushed than the first one. Why waste such good protagonists? I will read the third book because I am hopeful this story will finally reach its potential.

This is the second book in the Urban Academy Rejects series and things are heating up for Karelis and her three mates Adan, Casimir, and Blaze. Only she doesn't think she could actually be their mate since she was told that she could never have a mate since she has two wolves. There is still a murderer running lose on campus and she has her hands full with bullies who are not happy that the Three Kings are now all about her when they've never shown interest in any other of the girls there.
I already love this series and can't wait for more of Karelis, Adan, Casimir, and Blaze. These sweet, guys are bound and determined to claim their mate if she will let them. Even after her revealing some of her secrets they don't fail to show her they want her with them.
