Kim Everson brings us a book about weight loss. This may have a lot of healthy eating and taking care of your body advice. Kim takes all the nutritional advice available and adds to it an element that many people have when tackling weight loss or getting healthy. Your spiritual health on this journey is just as important as your physical health journey. This small paperback offers practical advice and is meant for the purchaser to not only read the book but also apply and use this book long term much like a workbook. She has little snippets at the end of every chapter, a little checklist to have to check off and consider as you tackle each chapter in your journey. She shares her journey and little extras like her favorite memory verses. As a chronic illness warrior, I read little books like this one to help expand my health journey to allow me to live longer. The rules in this book are rather simply focus on your spirit and your body to reach the goals of a healthier you. I find that refreshing in the diet culture out there. I can say the cost of the book may put a few people off with the length of the book being only ninety-eight pages. However, even if the book had a Kindle option this book is something you need to write, highlight, and make notes on. I think if you need a kick off point to this journey for not only a healthy body and soul this is well worth the cost.
