Rate this book
Investigative reporter Brianna Tate stumbled upon a career-making story that changed her entire life. When the trail led her into a dangerous web of lies, she was forced to choose between destroying the man she loved and giving up her entire life to enter WITSEC. After three years of living as someone else, everything changed when her true identity and location were discovered.

Noah “Reaper” Steele created a successful business in Steele Security, but he never fully recovered after he lost Brianna. He shared his bed with other women but they never had his heart. Noah's life solely revolved around his work. Everything changed the night he caught an intruder in his house and learned it was actually his long-dead love, Brianna.

With their reunion, they discovered the passion that fueled their relationship was still alive, burning hotter than ever. However, even Noah’s love couldn’t erase the sting of her betrayal, and he wrestled with allowing her back in his life. Brianna was the only woman he’d ever loved, but he wasn’t sure he could forgive her treachery. For both to survive, Noah and Brianna had to band together, uncover the truth, and reveal the real threat before it was too late.

In his fight against the wicked games that surrounded him, would he end up losing her all over again?

Strike One

description

You have bored me out of the gate...

This book starts with weather, specifically multiple pages on the difference between the weather in Colorado, Atlanta, and Miami. Quite frankly, my dear, IGAF.

Then I get details on her neighbor, Mrs. Elizabeth Stanton, who's lonely, a widow, a mom and grandmother, mid-sixties but looks and acts like she's forties, is friendly but not prying or nosey, etc etc ... Again, quite frankly, my dear, IDGAF about details on some random 7th string character.

description

And, it's barely begun.

Strike Two

description

Chick is TSTL.

She's in WITSEC. She suspects someone watching her run, but she ignores that shit and goes onward home. She sees a newspaper that get her heckles up before she goes inside to search her house for a possible intruder - unarmed. She's a smart one, huh? Best idea ever? She leaves the door unlocked in case she has to run back out quick. Why that's smart as fuck when someone may be following your ass. She only gets a weapon to continue her search AFTER she finds a note in her room. I'm sensing an IQ rivaling ...

description

Strike Three

description

The author is telling this story in a step-by-step style - She went ... She saw... She drooled. It's mostly third person narrative with little dialogue and no showing of anything.

Strike Four

description

The author is over-telling almost every element. It's repetitive and unnecessary info, making the pace of the story...

description

Example...

"An unseen person opened her door and she was helped out of the vehicle. When the blindfold was removed...

That the person is "unseen" is nothing but redundant information. The reader can deduct that from her blindfold being removed.

There's the flat out redundant...

... "only this one had sand-colored tents instead of Army green. Large tents were scattered throughout the base. "

This at 8%:
"I assume you're the leader of this squadron?" "I am," he confirmed."

This just 10 pages later:

"She already knew Reaper was the leader of the squadron, since he'd confirmed as much."

And then there's just the plain old 'beat it to death' approach, such as this long-winded muscle'd men description in ONE scene...

"chiseled chest"
"muscles in his shoulders, his arms and oh wow, his six pack abs"
"his thighs were obviously just as cut as the top half"
"man was huge"
"muscles bulging everywhere"
"every inch of him was rock solid"
"built like a linebacker"
"every inch covered in muscle"
"every man was tall, had a thick, muscular body"
"took exercise and staying healthy very seriously"

I could go on, but that would be redundant as to making the point that this shit is redundant.

description

Strike Five

Minus a few adult words, what little dialogue exists here could easily be confused with something off a kindergarten playground.

This is a professional reporter and a special forces badass flirting:

description

description

Her: "I thought I was about to get lucky."

Him: "I'm pretty sure that's suppose to be my line."

Her: "You know what I mean. I thought he was about to give away your name."

Him: "You may be right. But I guess it's not time for your turn yet."

Her: "Fine. You win the round. I'll have my turn, though."

Him: "One can only hope."

Her: "Yep. You're trouble. No doubt about it."

Him: "It's sexy when you blush. Especially when I'm the one who made you do it."

Bottom Line

description

I have no F'ing clue if the storyline, if there is one, is good because I can't stomach this author's writing style long enough to find out. Even if I could, the characters are stiff and sound like dimnitwit cake pops a couple weeks past expiration. Thank Gravy for ejection seats!

3.5-4 I-Want-More Stars!

I can't believe it took me this long to get round to this book. A.D. Justice sent me an arc a while back..a long while back and for some reason or the other I kept putting it aside and saying I will read it later (Sorry!)But this was getting ridiculous and I said to myself I will definitely read it next and tadaaa I did and I really enjoyed it!

This is book 1 in the Steele Security Series and its the story of Noah Steele and Brianna Tate. This book is filled with suspense, romance, second chances, security and issues and so much more. What would you do if you found out something you shouldn't have? Something so big that people would kill for it to be hidden or destroyed.

Brianna finds proof of dirty dealings and ends up having to hide, change her identity and let the people she loves think she is dead. All alone and constantly watching her back she stays away for 3 years until something big happens which draws her back to the home of the man she loves.

Noah owns a successful business with Steele Security, providing security escorts for the nations' top officials, wealthy elitists, and high-profile visiting dignitaries. 3 years ago the loss of Brianna left him with a hole in his heart that can never be filled. When an intruder breaks into his house he is shocked and angry to see that it is no other than Brianna, the only woman he ever loved.

"They say time heals all wounds, but that's not true. Time made it worse. Time reminded me of all the things that we would never do together. I learned to live with the pain, but it never left."

As soon as I started this book I couldn't stop reading I felt like I had just started the book and when I clicked on it I found I was already 50% in! Then I was asking myself is this a short book or am I reading it really fast.I had totally forgot about what this book was actually about and decided not to check the synopsis and go in blind..this usually freaks me out but I think its good for me.I had to keep telling myself you don't need to know what this book is about you will figure it out as you bloody read it!

This book is written in dual POVS so we get an insight into both the main characters which I always love.I'm glad that is was in dual POV because some parts would have felt incomplete with just one POV.

I liked the characters though I wanted to scream at Brianna at times and I wanted more of Brianna and Noah without all the problems.I really liked the 'brothers' and how they were a tight knit group of friends who always had each others back. But I wanted more of a connection to them or a little more insight to them. But I guess we will get to know them more with each book. Oh and I didn't really get a clear description on them, I don't know how to really picture them.

Overall I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the next book which is about Bull! :D

Last night I read A.D. Justice’s book Wicked Games. This is the first in the Steele series. It is definitely a thrilling book and one that pulls you in and makes you want to read the sequel now. I can’t wait until the sequel comes out.
His characters come alive in his book. You are kept on the edge of your seat as Brianna comes out of the Witness Protection Service to help her lover, Noah. Three years ago, she was an investigative journalist on the trail of a big story. She went to the Middle East to get further confirmation of her story when she was “killed” in a plane crash. Her friends and family and Noah believe she and Richard Hollingsworth, a DOD executive, were both on the flight. Neither was. When she sees Richard’s picture in the paper with a story about his being abducted by terrorists, she knows she has to come back to protect Noah. She has to find out if he was involved with Richard’s illegal activities or not. By coming back, she puts her life, the life of her friends Bull, Shadow, and Rebel, as well as Noah’s on the line. Just when it seems the story is over, a figure is lurking unseen in the darkness.
The twists and turns of this story keep you on your toes and it kept me up last night until I finished the book. Parts of the book brought me to tears which to me make a book even better. I just hope the second book come out soon.

REVIEW OF AUDIO & EBOOK; AUG 11, 2014
Narrator: Deb Booth

The Narration: New narrator for me and I am impressed. Some may find her voice too old for the heroine but I always like those sultry voices and if the heroine is too young for a voice like Booth's, I doubt I'd be interested in the book.

I hope Booth will be narrating more. I'd love to have narrating the Karen Rose books.

The Story: started out good but tumbled downhill soon after. I find it implausible that Brianna would not trust Reaper with what was happening and thought she could handle things herself. Is this woman TSTL? Reaper and his team of men are Delta Force, for God's sake! Brianna had spent time living among them when she was just 22 and writing a story on these covert ops guys. She got romantically involved with Reaper during that time, there's a separation, a reunion, then a 3-year disappearance when Brianna went into the WITSEC program (all in the book's blurb). When she suddenly reappears, she breaks into Reaper's house!

Why would this woman do what she did? It never entered her thick head that this team of ex-Delta men who ran black ops for a living, and who now run a highly-successful security (means their job is to keep their clients safe, Brianna) company, could be trusted with the facts of what had happened to her. Instead, she believed that Reaper could not take care of himself but she could? That keeping everything from him would keep him safe?

Well, I know why her thick head couldn't understand that - all she could think of was Reaper's six-pack and the physical attributes of the other men (who will, unfortunately, be getting their own books). I love me a bunch of well-built men and I'd be cheering for Brianna if she decided she wanted to do them all BUT, I can't stand it when the heroine thinks she can do better by keeping things from the hero when it's a no-brainer that it's a dumb route to take. If her lame-brain could have realized what a blessing it was that she had, at her disposal, a bunch of guys who are trained to keep her and the rest of her countrymen safe, this book would have been a great intro to a new series. Surely, the first thing Brianna needed to do was to bring Reaper into her confidence, warn him about Hollingsworth, etc, but no, that would have turned this book into a serious romantic suspense and we can't have that.

However, if you love sappy romances with hot men and stupid heroines, this is the right book for you.

I hate tropes like these.

I also hated the male whining and the over-emphasis on hurt feelings, the do-you-still-love-me, do-you-forgive-me dialogue. These supposedly alpha Delta men came across like a bunch of pussies. I don't like every Suzanne Brockmann book but if you want 'real' men who are covert ops guys and who act like men (because you want to kick their ass sometimes), read the Troubleshooters. Reaper and his Pussies, you feel like bitch-slapping them and telling them to man up and ditch the bitch.

I kind of read A.D's books backwards. Having read Wicked Ties first and loving it so much, and completely falling in love with Bull aka Colton, I went back to read Noah & Brianna's story. A.D. has created a series of hot as hell, captivating, lovable, story lines in the Steele Security Series. I love these guys. I can't wait to read about Rebel and Shadow next. A.D's books are page turners that kept me guessing, with just enough steam and just enough angst. A.D. Justice has turned me into a stalker and I will consume anything she publishes. This series is a MUST READ.

WoW! What a whopper of a story with all the espionage of spies, lies, corruption, and breach of security, OH MY! AH yes, lust and love in the form of a sexy nosey investigative reporter and Hot-O-Licious ex-military leader gone security.

Brianna Tate a.k.a. Bri: alias Kristina Miller, Leslie Solomon, and Briana Steele, has become a woman on the run. For her 'running had become her addiction and her only way of dealing with the pain inside'. And for good reason.

Noah Steele...:thump: :thump: :THUD: Yum-o ex-military security God Reaper will never let the memory of his sexy little investigator go. Together with his teammates, Rebel, Bull, and Shadow they will wade through horrible deeds and sift through implicating documents and bring down the terror that's enfolding all around them.

Richard Hollingsworth a.k.a. Judge, begins to feel the gates of hell falling down around him, and the devil must get his just rewards.

Thank you A.D. Justice for a thrilling ride and sexy, burn me up, romp in the sheets kind of loving. Just loved the dog tag bling her teammates gave her to show 'A brother's love never ends'. <3 it!

I can't get enough of this series and it's only the beginning!

I've been eyeing this series for quite some time and and I THRILLED to picked up Wicked Games!

We are introduced to Noah (Reaper), as well as to his "brothers", and the steam coming from these HOT, SEXY, ALPHA males will make your kindle melt! So beware!

We are also introduced to Brianna, a smart as a whip, logical, selfless reporter.

These two meet under unplanned circumstances, forced apart, come together again, and forced apart again. It's heartbreaking the situations that arise that force the two apart. Characters that once could be trusted are no longer trust worthy. The story is written where you can feel the characters emotions: betrayal, mourning, lust, and love.

I catch myself completely entwined into the story, with plenty of action, unexpected twists and turns, this book keeps me on the edge of the seat, once you think your past the "high" of the book you get hit with a scenario that is unexpected. I found it difficult to set this book down. A must read for me and I'm another hooked fan of AD's and the Steele Security Series. ~Book was gifted in exchange for honest review

Wicked Games grabbed me from the first page and didn't let go.
This is a must read book.
It has drama, angst, intrigue, romance, hot sex, and redemption.
I was literally flipping pages before I was done to see what happened next.
Brianna and Noah are characters we all can relate to.
Wicked Games is a page turned that proves when you love someone with your whole heart you will do whatever it takes to keep them safe and also that you can't help who you love.
My opinion, MUST READ!

CAPTIVATING, RIVETING AND SINFULLY SEXY !!!
Title: Wicked Games
Series: Steele Security
Designation: Book One, Full-Length Standalone, NO Cliffhanger
Author: A.D. Justice
My Rating: Five Divinely Entertaining Stars*****
Jackpot! I'm a very happy girl! I love romance, adore suspense, go totally ga-ga over action/adventure and simply can not live without a daily infusion of romance, and A D Justice delivers it all in one sexy romp! I've struck gold! A D Justice just rocked my world with Wicked Games, the riveting first release in her phenomenal Steele Security Series. How do I know the series is phenomenal if this is only the first book? Well, I'm so glad you asked! Wicked Games was offered as a free download on Amazon and I love freebies. I'd never read any books by Justice nor had I even heard of her, but I was intrigued by the blurb so why the heck not!?! It's free and I pride myself on being an equal opportunity bargain shopper. Hey, don't laugh; I've found a lot of great authors by taking advantage of Amazon's free promotional offers and the day I found A D Justice was definitely my lucky day. But I digress, back to the question. Quite simply, I loved Wicked Games so much, I raced back to Amazon to see if there were other books available in the series and JACKPOT - there were three more books: Wicked Ties (Book 2), Wicked Nights (Book Three) and Wicked Intentions (Book 4). Like I said - Jackpot! And you know what's coming, right? Yup, I quickly snapped up the remaining three books and immediately began my Steele Security binge. Yup, I've read three and plan to finish the fourth this week. And buttons over biscuits, they're all just as fabulous as the first book! I'm in heaven! Each book in the series is a full-length novel and can actually be read as a standalone but I sincerely recommend reading the books in order which I believe will enrich your reading experience. But let's talk details! Wicked Games is a sexy, fast paced, well crafted, beautifully written story with a masterfully executed third person omniscient perspective. And I must say, Justice is the first author I've found in a long time that could successfully deliver a true third person omniscient point of view. For anyone not familiar with the term, third person omniscient is a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of all of the characters in the story, as opposed to third person limited, which adheres closely to one character's perspective, sometimes two. Now folks, this is not as easy as it sounds since it can become not only quite confusing at times, but it can also be very difficult for the reader to keep up with who is thinking what. Obviously, Justice is a gifted storyteller and skilled wordsmith because she aced it! Honestly, I've never been a fan of third person omniscient - until now. The dialogue is smart, natural, well executed and flows effortlessly. But I have to admit, the pièce de résistance and my favorite element of the entire series is the magnificent cast of characters. They are fascinating, intriguing, captivating, relatable and totally engaging. Oh, and did I mention they're sexy as sin? Well, they're all real panty melters! Hubba! Hubba! Even the bad guys are worthy of mention. They're truly the kind of villains we all love to hate! I fell head over heels for this entire group of courageous Army Delta Force Special Operatives who eventually become the members of Steele Security. First up, we have twenty-nine year old Noah 'Reaper' Steele, captain of the unit and founder/owner of Steele Security, and his love interest, twenty-two year old newbie journalist Brianna Tate who is trying to establish a career as an investigative reporter. The physical attraction and sexual chemistry between these two protagonists is off the charts hot. They are a perfect pairing, playing off each other brilliantly. Their story will heat your sheets while tugging on your heartstrings! I laughed, giggled, snorted and sobbed liked a baby but by the end, I was happy, sated and well entertained. No spoilers from me but if you're looking for a story filled to the brim with heart-pounding drama, heart-stopping danger, riveting action, heart-wrenching angst, mind-blowing suspense, heated attraction, fiery passion, heartwarming romance and steamy, dreamy sex, then this is most certainly the book for you.

Captain Noah 'Reaper' Steele had a lot to prove but only to himself. After joining the Army at only 18 to get away from his wealthy controlling father, he had plans for his future and they didn't include staying in a hot as hell, war-torn third world country and they certainly didn't include ever falling in love - until he did. After meeting 22 year old newbie investigative reporter Brianna 'Sunny' Tate, Noah knew it was time to hang up his Captain's bars, return to the States and embark on his future as owner of his own security company, Steele Security, to be based in Miami. And hopefully woo one certain reporter who just happened to now be living and working in Miami. Yup, he has big plans for him and Brianna. There's one little problem, he hasn't told her yet. Well actually, there may be another problem... or actually quite a few. He'll have to tell her but he may have already waited too long. Brianna is in danger because of a story she's investigating and he may already be too late! Oh no! Unfortunately, Brianna is determined to save Noah, even if the cost is her own life. But Brianna and Noah both soon discover a life without each other, is truly no life at all. Oh my! What a twisted, convoluted web Justice weaves in this story! Buckle up, my lovelies! It's a wild and wicked ride!

When reviewing a book, there are several questions I always ask myself to determine the rating. First, did I like it, love it or hate it? Well, that's an easy question to answer with this story. Unequivocally, I loved it! This book included every component I love in a great story and the icing on the cake, it was exceptionally well crafted and masterfully written. There were a few very minor mistakes but no glaring errors and certainly nothing that drew my attention away from the story.
Second, would I recommend this book? You bet and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain some exquisitely written love scenes. And yes, I said love scenes, not sex scenes. There was definitely sex but these scenes, although plentiful, were done tastefully and always lovingly. But don't doubt for one minute, they were real barn burners, folks, and I loved every single word!
Third, will I read this author again? Duh, is that a trick question? I've already read this author again. I raced back to Amazon before I finished the first book and purchased the other three books in the series. I've already devoured two more and can hardly wait to dive into the fourth.
And finally, was I entertained? Abso-freaking-lutely! I was totally entertained! I was immediately drawn into this book with the hours passing seemingly as minutes, completely enthralled and gasping for breath with my heart fluttering wildly in my chest. It was an incredible experience! And folks, please allow me to impart just a little advice: make sure you have several hours to read all 280 pages because once you start, you won't be able to stop until you read the last word! Just sayin'!
Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Is there an irony in this author's name? This book is certainly about justice. After a few twists, turns and false starts, the good guys win. Betrayed by a friend, the main characters, Briana and Noah, fight for justice, their lives and their love. This exciting romance novel contains violence, mystery, corruption, betrayal, friendship, and a lover's conflict: an intoxicating combination that keeps the reader turning the page in suspense.

The novel opens with Brianna realizing that her cover has been blown and the witness protection program that has been keeping her and her former lover Noah safe for the last three years compromised. She abandons her life in Colorado and heads for Miami, the scene of the crime, determine to sacrifice her life to save Noah's. This unselfish aspect of Brianna's character is the only slightly incredible part of the novel. The handsome, “cut” comrades that surround the gorgeous Noah are easily believable and ooze the loyalty and competency expected of the elite forces they used to be.

The evil, greedy Richard provides a provocative antagonist. Once Noah's best friend and a member of the elite team, Richard has traded friendship for money. Using his DoD and other high-level government contacts, Richards has built up a multi-million dollar business selling illegal weapons using Noah's security company as a front and Noah as the fall-guy. A former reporter who uncovered Richards activities, Brianna is the only one who knows of Richard's involvement and his plans to blame his crimes on Noah. Brianna has hidden in Noah's Miami mansion the proof Noah needs to incriminate Richard and exonerate himself. She sneaks into the house and is caught by Noah and his team, igniting both passion and suspicion among the former friends and lovers. After a stormy start, the teams reunites to hunt Richard while he hunts them, leading to a plethora of exciting gun battles and car chases.

The novel concludes happily: the good guys win, the bad guys lose, and the lovers live happily ever after. This novel is wonderfully predictable. We are not left wishing for a different ending or a more exciting plot. We hate the bad guys and love the good ones. All is well.

This was the first book by A.D. Justice that I read. I was contacted to read it in exchange for an honest review. I didn't know how I felt but I was actually posting Holly's review of Crazy Maybe which she LOVED!!!! So I thought I would try it. I could NOT put it down!!! What I would give to see in this womans head for a day! I think this is one of the most original stories I have ever read that kept me captivated from the first page. No matter what genre you prefer, this is a story that you will love!

AMAZING!!!

We start by meeting Brianna, who is living in witness protection after someone tried to kill her. She had to leave everyone and everything she new and loved. Brianna was a reporter who got a little too close to a HUGE story. This story would rock so many lives and those involved wouldn't let that happen. When the man behind her attack resurfaces she knows she has been found. She sneaks back to her lost love to find the evidence she hid that proves her facts. Well things don't ever go according to planned and she ends up making an impromptu reapperance into Noah's life.

Noah was distraught when he thought Brianna died 3 years ago and isn't sure what to make of her miraculously showing up and stealing from him. He played the last night he saw her over and over with regret. He isn't prepared for all the baggage that is included with Brianna, or to find out it is ALL around him!

This story if full of love, loss, betrayal, friendship, passion, and how far you will go for those you love. You will gasp, sigh, swoon, laugh, and cry. A.D. is truely talented and a remarkable writter. The pace of this story is just non-stop and will leave you breathless. You sort-of know where things are heading but then it ends up being more than you expect. Seriously one of my favorite reads that I already want to start again!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Noah and Brianna. When this story opens up Brianna feels like she is being watched and realizes that the place she calls home is not longer safe. So she will need to change her identity again and run again. After that first chapter we find out the story of how Noah and Brianna meet and how they have come to find each other after that first meeting. We also learn why Brianna is on the run from someone that isn't sure is the only person she needs to fear.

Noah is part of Delta Force and meets Brianna in a remote secret location. While there he is leery that all she if after is their life stories for a story but realizes that Brianna has real compassion and is looking to make sure this story really shows that these men are more than just a story. Just as they seem to be finding their groove together in this barren place Noah is call out for another mission. While there he finds himself making some hard decisions about where he wants his life to go. His first stop get his woman back and make sure she never leaves him again. Sometimes the best laid plans don't always go as planned.

In this book we have love, acceptance, trust, intrigue and fighting for that perfect person. You will laugh at times and cry at times in this book. Ok so all the sappy stuff is said now this book will have you on the edge of your seat you will not want to put it down for anything. This book will have you wondering who is behind it all till the very end. There is so much I want to tell you about this book but hate to ruin it for any other readers. I will say pick up your copy of this book today you will not be disappointed.

Wow without give away to much let me just say that Wicked Games was truly and unexpected surprise. From the moment I began to read I could not put it down. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and ready to see what happens next.

The main characters Noah or better known as "Reaper" is total alpha male. You fall in love with him from the first moment you meet him. When we first meet him he is active duty special forces but them as the story progresses he owns his own security business.

Brianna is an investigative report who stumbles ok she digs into a story and finds some unsettling things. This so happens to put her self and those she loves at risk. She does what she believes with save them from harm.

This book is not your usual Romance book. Nope it's full of action danger and mystery as the pieces all fall into place. Not saying their is not some steamy moments because there is.

You also meet Rebel, Bull and shadow these are the guys Noah considers brothers his family. They battled wars over in foreign lands and they stick together when things at home turn In to a war zone. These guys would do anything and everything for each other.

I can not express how I loved this book enough. And wonder if A.D. justice has come up with some of the scenarios that is very detail in the book. In my opinion it was flawless and the story line was amazing.

I really loved this book. It has everything in it. Suspense, romance, sadness, joy, way more than one plot twist. Just when you think you have it figured out, WHAM! If you love hot Delta force Alpha males, strong, intelligent female leads, and a story that doesn't let up for a minute, this is your book. And the last line of the story will make you go "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
This story revolves around Brianna, who was a investigative journalist for the Miami Herald. She was investigating corruption and found out that her boyfriend Noah might be in trouble because of his partner Richard. She ends up surviving an attempt on her life, but can't talk to Noah, because she thinks he was leaving her. To protect him, she goes into WITSEC. Three years later, Richard shows up again after others thought he was dead. She races to Noah's house to try to work a plan to protect him from Richard. Things get dicey after that. Can she save Noah? Will he hate her? What will Richard do when he finds Brianna? Twists upon twists happen in this story and you won't put the book down. I read it in one sitting because I had to know what happened next! Give it a try, and by the end, you will be glad you did!

I loved this book. It had romance, friendship, adventure, military/security men, intrigue, danger, and great love scenes! The dialog was well written and the characters had depth. I loved how the story involved Brianna going to the overseas military post as her way meeting the men in the story. She was able to develop relationships that affected the rest of the story. I also loved how Brianna was a strong heroine. Too often, contemporary romances include a "broken woman needing to be saved". While those stories can be interesting, I particularly love a strong woman, and Brianna is very strong. Strong enough to leave Noah to protect him. Strong enough to be willing to lay down her life for him. Noah was wonderful; I loved the conversation they had near the end of the book where he needed her to know how devastated he had been when she was gone. He was an alpha, take charge male, but did not mind her knowing how much he needed her. All in all, a fabulous read! Cannot wait for more stories from the Steele Securities series!!!

5 stay-up all night stars!
Right off the bat, this book was the type to make me picture a very vivid movie in my mind while reading, so I was completely engrossed in it. Another thing I loved is that very quickly, I felt what Brianna were feeling ( even if I didn't know what was going on ). There are so many things going on and holy jeez, is there a lot of action !!!!
The author did such a fantastic job of developing the characters while laying out the plot. A story like this, with so much going on ( espionage, security issues, romance, lies, threats, danger and Noah's sexiness) would have been easy to get confused. Not once!!! It is extremely easy to follow, so its impossible to put down. Brianna is such an amazing main character, strong, selfless, determined. Noah ( sigh) is ex-military, sinfully hot and rough yet tender.
In my opinion, there are no weak points in this book.
The writing in insanely descriptive and so vivid, you can't help but love this book.

LOVE, LOVE, FLOVE this BOOK! This is one heck of a book. I was hooked right from the start. Brianna was an investigative reporter that fell in love with Noah while she was writing about his unit overseas. They had a great relationship until she found out one of his partners was up to no good. She ends up disappearing into WITSEC until her safety is compromised and she sneaks back to Miami. This is book one of the series and is definitely a series I am so excited to read. Noah runs Steele Security with several of his men from his unit. This book has lots of heart-racing moments and is full of twists and turns. I could not put this book down. A.D. Justice has written a fantastic book! I look forward to the rest of the series.

Bloody book made me cry, first with sad tears, then with happy tears.

Brianna is such a brilliant character, and selfless doesn't begin to describe her! Her courage and bravery made her such a great character, she was a real pleasure to read. Noah and his team are all hot ex military so there's no question I loved all of them, well not Bull to start with, but what the brothers did at the end set me off crying again!

First and foremost this is a love story, there's suspense and intrigue through the book, the proverbial bad guy, or two or three, and a couple of twists as well.

It's an engaging and enjoyable story, and I'm very much looking to reading more books in the series,

Wicked Games is AMAZING!!! I couldn't stop reading it! This story grabbed ahold of me and didn't let go. Wicked Games is so much more than hot sex....It has the perfect combination of suspense, twists, love, and heartache. I smiled, cried, and almost threw my kindle across the room. This is a must read!! Honestly no words can describe just how much I love this book. Do yourself a favor and "experience" Noah Steele :)

I am so. Darn. In love. With this book!!! It just kept my interest and attention from the beginning to the end. There was not a dull moment. I just literally can't stop reading! It was packed with action, romance, heck even comedy! I loved every single bit of it. Emotions. Gone. Haywire. It's the kind if book you get hunches on what's going to happen next, yet you still want to know how it actually plays out. It keeps you on your toes and at the edge of your seat. And just when you thought everything is already all right and the book is soon to be over? Noooope. There's more! It was stu-pen-dous!

Noah Steele and Brianna Tate were just perfect—perfect for each other and perfect as individuals. When Brianna got an assignment that will give her a break in her career as an investigative journalist, she snagged her opportunity to fly across the world for it. Noah worked for the army for so many years and never has it come across his mind that a blonde beauty who'd stay and study their ways of living for a short span of six weeks would capture his heart. They shared something too intimate and raw during that period of time, but it wasn't enough. It just sealed the deal all the more for both of them. But after that six weeks, Brianna had to go back home and he'd have to stay in the army. There's nothing more he wanted to do but find her, make her his and protect her forever. Another thing that gripped my heart was the bond Bri formed with the rest of Noah's squadron. They became her big brothers and the way they all cared for her was enough to make me melt and swoon.

So much has happened after that and it just captured me entirely. The twists of the story, the reasons why this person did what. Everything. I don't want to elaborate more on anything since it will definitely spoil the story and I wouldn't want to do that. Just know that this story will make you laugh, tear up and burst into tears, and believe in the power of love and hope. The things Noah did for Brianna to keep her safe? And most especially the selflessness that Brianna showed just to protect Noah, even if it means giving up her life for it? I am in awe. It struck me more than I expected. I love Noah, there's no fucking doubt about that. I worship him. His intelligence, (over)protectiveness, and devotion. But Brianna? She is so entrancing. Her wittiness. Her passion, strength and courage because of love was something I want myself to have. To feel for another person. With my soulmate. The thing they both had was just magical. Sparks flew and they deserved the ending they had, especially with everything they went through and had to endure. Oh, it will make you squirm too! Hotness overload!!! The chemistry and sexual tension between these two will blow you off the roof! Eeeek! I am so digging these kinds of books right now! Just wonderful. ~Renery, 5 stars

I had wanted to read Wicked Games by A.D. Justice for a while now and finally was able to. I can’t believe I waited as long as I did to finally pick up this action packed, suspense filled, keep you on the edge of your seat book. It is all of those things and so much more. Now it did take me a little bit to really get into it but don’t take that as a negative, there was a lot of information to digest at times but you have to remember this is the beginning of a new series so this kind of thing happens.

Reaper, aka Noah (can I just say I love the Reaper name is gets me all hot for some reason) is the type of alpha male I love. He is just hot, I can’t even put it into words how much I loved not only his character but how he was with Brianna. The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot. The history, the angst, the drama surrounding them made them even more addicting to read about. I needed to know what was going to happen, it was like my life depended on knowing.

I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series is going to play out, I am already hooked! I highly recommend Wicked Games by A.D. Justice!

This was an amazing story from the start; nothing about this story sucked at all, ok well besides all the horrible things that happened to the main character that really sucked and I felt so bad I had tears going down my face :) I really liked how strong the main character Bri is, she's this amazing strong and fearless person that doesn't hold out on doing the right things for the right people. Noah "Reaper" is this hot ex-army, security guy who's drop dead hot!!! He's strong and thoughtless knows how to get the job done and knows what he wants. The love the characters had for each other Bri and Noah were just out of this world amazing how much it showed within minutes of her return!! The author did an outstanding job with writing this story I couldn't believe in how much I ended up really enjoying the story. I was hooked within the first chapter I was craving more by page 10.

Oh WOW!! I am so excited for this new series!! Noah and Brianna are quite the couple and their love for each other is so evident in every page of this story. It is a testament to the saying, "love conquers all". I love how the author wrote each and every character and really made you fall in love with each of them. Bull, Rebel, Shadow, and then of course Noah (aka Reaper) and Brianna. Hooked me from the first chapter and couldn't put it down until I was done. Highly, highly recommend this book! Everything about this book was intriguing! It is the perfect blend of romance and suspense and then there is the amazing chemistry and heat!! I am a definite fan for life and can not wait to read the rest of the Steele Security series!! I give this book not just 5 ***** but a big AMAZEBALLS 5 *****

An ARC copy was given to us by the author for an honest review!!!

I really don't understand how this book got so many 5 stars reviews, bringing it to a score of around 4.30 stars on GR. I mean, 4.30 is a very high score on GR, and this book was so far away from what one would expect from such a high rating. Many times it reads as if it was written by a high-school student (or maybe that's the explanation, and the many 5 stars reviews came from friends, colleagues etc). The plot was good, but very poorly written. I only finished it because I was curious what else happens, but in the second part of the book I skipped many passages that made me cringe because of the writing. Sorry, it's just not that good.

Let me start with THANK YOU!!! I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review. This is not a book I would normally purchase (I am not a big romantic suspense fan). But, I now realize, I did not know what I was missing all this time. I fell in love with this book. I want my own Reaper. I laughed, I cried (a lot), and I fell in love. This book sucked me in at the very beginning. From the prologue you are drawn in and the story begins. Towards the end, I thought we had reached the climax, and then BAM, I did not see that coming. I will be reading the rest of the series. I am now an A.D. Justice fan.
