Not a recommended book for those unfamiliar with the Maury Island incident, but essential for those eager for every detail of it. I wish this book hadn't been written in a style that resembles a journalist's notes, rather than some sort of logical or narrative order. But that is not as big a deal as it would be in a longer book. Good interviews here, and some good analysis. I still, however, see nothing that is convincingly inconsistent with John Keel's theory that the Maury Island event was some sort of government hovercraft illegally dumping hot radioactive materials into a civilian waterway near population centers—a horrible enough crime/blunder that military intelligence, or some such entity, felt it had to rub some people out. The fact that some of the same spooks show up in Dealey Plaza 15 years later is also not at all surprising. Nothing extraterrestrial need be postulated.
