okay im here and ready to write all of my feelings on the book that is UNFORTUNATELY using MY NAMEEEEE
Honestly I wouldn’t be against it if I liked the book, BUT I absolutely hated it with my whole heart. Let me rant real quick.
This whole storyline was so fucked up. I mean, a girl, her two PERVERTED RAPIST stepbrothers, and her DISGUSTING stepfather? NO NO NO! Who even thinks about that, and decides to write a story about it? Like I’m so hating on the author, sorry not sorry, because why the fuck did she think this was hot. I am genuinely concerned with how she thinks.
Lets go character by character to you know, dissect everything I hated about this book which is spoiler; EVERYTHING!
Katie: Okay first of all, she got raped in like the first chapter…CUTE! i’m kidding obvi that’s disgusting and gross and WTF. Her reaction was okay I guess, like made sense but it was like someone snapped and she was suddenly into it? I actually got so annoyed with her because of that. I don’t even think she had a personality because they were fucking every SINGLE CHAPTER!! I think only like 2 chapters of the whole book didn’t include it. Bruh cause now I have beef with everything because I was so pissed at that. She honestly could have ended it all and didn’t, she even STARTED some of it. I’m so done talking about her though. I just know I HATE having the same name as this bitch. Yeah, I called her a bitch. Move on.
Carter: BRO WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! He was so pervy, gross, horny and ugh he ALSO doesn’t have a personality. Like no you’re not him stop getting yourself off at your ACTUAL STEPSISTER. LIKE BLOOD RELATED STEPSISTER.
Brad: Same thing as Carter but this man really thought he was slick and cool. Why would you mask yourself as some random person and finger fuck Katie whole she’s running away in an alleyway and think it was hot? AND YOU DONT TELL HER?! GIRL WAS CRYING SO HARD I WOULD BE TOO. Only relatable thing she did in the whole book. Anyways, I hate the name Brad now and he needs to get a reality check BADDD.
Henry: the stepfather having the name Henry was enough for me. Cause wtf. AND he had a thing for you know fucking her while she was sleeping AND she would do it back. Ew ew ew. Barf I’m so done. I sound so cringey I know but like this sucked. She also called him “daddy” all the time and because he was literally her stepfather it grossed me tf out. There’s nothing more I can even say about him.
Now we move onto the ending. Also, sorry if you wanted to read this book, there are SO MANY spoilers for this book, but like I don’t think anyone should enjoy or WANT to read this book so. I know I wanted to knowing it was horrible and so did Juls, but like it was still entertains even while it sucked. Okay, so the ending, bruh wdym they all moved in together and live happily ever after? You’re joking cause what. Nope. Sorry. That’s enough for me. I was SOOO happy the book was over. I’m not even joking I had the nastiest expression on my face the entire time I was reading. So, please, don’t ever hurt yourself and read this book. Or else I might literally cry FOR you.
Also, tmi but I read a whole chapter out loud, like voix haute for juls and my sister myriam and OH MY GOSH it was hilarious.
Okay I’m done, now Im gonna go hope no one ever looks at this book again 😁

So I actually stopped at 50% it’s not a bad book I stopped purely because I don’t like RH and this is about 2 stepbrothers and the h comes home for the summer and the second she walks in the door there on her it’s pure smut so anyone that love crazy sex scenes each chapter with no storyline then this is it. It doesn’t just end up with the stepbrothers though the stepdad comes home without her mum after being on a trip and the second he gets in the door guess what…….. he joins in to so yeah not for me but not the worst I’ve read and for everyone that loved RH and smut this will be a great book 📕

The author says that it is just pure smut, which is understandable, but after awhile though it gets pretty boring when all you read is smut especially when it is repetitive. It was good up until the father joined in and that's where I got the ick. It just rubbed me the wrong way and he just seemed like a creep, even if there was plot, if you know what I mean. I don't know how to explain it, but that's my take, because one of my favorite books was Credence and that also has the three men and one girl. I think it would have been a good book if there was some type of plot. But yeah, I wouldn't recommend this book if you want plot or even don't want to read repetitive smut, it wasn't even good at times. Also no TWs, should have some.

Taboo but oh so good

This is one of those books you HAVE to read the trigger warnings on, and there's a lot. But if you decide to give it a go, you won't regret it.

In 41 chapters there were only 4 without sex, so be warned, this is NOT a book to read in public!

Erotica, very little plot, and what plot was there was based on power exchange between one stepbrother and the stepdad. The other stepbrother was and has always been very much into the heroine even before her majorenne. Actually so has the step dad. There was a lot of dd/ll and daddy calling, referring to the brothers as her brothers. There was cheating, too, considering the heroine’s mother was married to her stepdad.

If you want lots of hot forbidden sex, this is it. I DNF because I lost interest around the 60 point.

The plot is the smut and their relationship, so go in expecting that and have a deliciously good time like I did.

The only scene I was iffy to was the grocery store but I think that's cause I used to work in a grocery store so trigger warning to grocery employees 😂

Yeah no. DNF’ed about 5 chapters in maybe. Couldn’t do it because:

1. Rape in like the first (? second?) Chapter?? Yeah absolutely not.

2. He called her a slut too many times. Yes there is such a thing. And yes it makes it wayyyyy more disturbing and disgusting when said during rape.

3. If I ever saw these men out in public- I’d pick the bear 100 times over. I’d pick 5 bears. Or 10 bears.

Pure SMUT with very specific tropes!!

This is the hardest review I’ve ever tried to write. 🤦🏽‍♀️🫣🧐😬

-I give the editing a 1⭐️ rating. So many spelling and punctuation errors. Drove me nuts!
-Smut is a 50/5 ⭐️ rating. 290ish pages and almost all included dirty, DIRTY scenes.
-I have no triggers and I love alllllll the dark things, so I never read the trigger warnings. However, this book had tropes that just aren’t my jam. I can only assume that if you’re into these tropes, this book would be a whole lot more exciting for you. But I can’t say for sure.
-I could get down with Brad and Carter, but the Henry bit threw me for a loop. How long were Katie’s mom and Henry married for? How old was Katie at that point?
-Was Henry even a sexy silver fox???? I needed those deets.
-There were a bunch of hush-hush things - Henry sending Carter away, Brad’s criminal history, everyone’s real emotions and feelings. I definitely would have appreciated more insight into all that.

I planned to rock with 2 or 3 stars for this, but I feel like if these tropes were in my kink bank, it would have been stellar. And I don’t want to rate it specifically on my taste since I’m not everyone else. So I’d say 3.5⭐️, but I’ll round up to 4. 😬

It felt like a middle schooler’s wappad story.
I already can’t remember any of their names. With the exception of Katie, but that’s only because it’s the title of the book.
I have absolutely nothing against smutty stories with nothing else going on, but this one just didn’t hit right.

Katie comes back from college to her mother‘s and stepfather‘s (Henry) house. Her stepbrother Brad lives there. Her stepbrother Carter was sent to London to work. But for the holidays, they are all back home together.
Her mother and Henry, are away on a vacation. Carter and Brad just go straight for Katie. They basically don’t give her an option. Even though she does have an option. They’re constantly watching her and “taking“ her whenever they please. When her mom and Henry come back from vacation, he comes for her as well at night.
They have a Christmas dinner and her mom tries to push Katie on her best friend’s son. Katie finally stands up for herself and tells her mom she has a boyfriend. When her mom harasses her long enough for who it is, Katie admits it’s Brad. Her mom berates her, but kind of seems like she can accept it. Then Katie tells her it’s also Carter. Her mom goes off and leaves. Henry goes after her. Katie feels like it’s all her fault but they all tell her it was a long time coming. It’s time for Katie to go back to school. She’s afraid their time has come to an end, but Carter and Brad both tell her they are coming with her. She really wants Henry to come with her as well but they have decided he shouldn’t. When she actually goes to leave, she begs him to come with her and he says he wouldn’t be anywhere without her.

99.9% (repetitive) smut, 0.1% (fuck is a) plot, so if you're looking for plot, this ain't it. Heed the content warnings for this one though, lots of non-con, some on the rougher side.

There was potential for some interesting plot given the amount of pages, but what it delivered was smut, smut, smut and more smut. For breakfast, lunch, dinner, and as snacks in between.

Personally, I was rather unimpressed, and didn't necessarily find the scenes hot, as nothing kills the mood faster than the lack of a build up. Don't get me wrong, quickies can absolutely deliver in the sexy department, but when every scene is straight into legs spread and dong out...yeaaaaaah, it gets boring fast. And it all starts early on (ch.1 or 2), so don't worry, you didn't skip any chapters, the book really smacks you with panties off, pants down from the very beginning almost.

The characters involved had no personalities whatsoever, not that they needed any, I guess, since their purpose was to fuck, not to bond in any way, shape or form.

Two extra mentions:

1. What even was the purpose of the dad dude getting in the mix too? It was so weird and out of place like this man walks in, goes angry for a second, and proceeds to ask FMC if she likes his sons' dicks? HUH?! Bruh, what? Then fuckery happens, some wannabe foursome.
2. The relationship between FMC and her mom was...comical, the way it ended in particular had me cackling. All I could think of was that grown ass woman stomping the ground, packing her toys and leaving with a pout.

Poor virgin h goes home from college (her stepdad and mom leave for the summer) and her 31 year old stepbrother basically rapes her. Then a day later, her other stepbrother joins in. She fights them at first but it’s useless- her body betrayed her 🙃 Sooooooooooooooo if that wasn’t enough step daddy shows up. He joins in. 😩😱 There is very little plot but lots of smut. They all separate when summer ends except one stepbrother goes back to college with her.

Christmas comes! Nothing says holiday like the fact that h gives her “daddy” some oral while her mother is in the room. “Merry Christmas, mom”

h decides to let her mom know that she’s with both stepbrothers. Ofc mom flips out and loses her mind. She argues with stepdad because he’s telling her to calm down and that it’s okay. Mom leaves.

Step daddy and his two sons then whip h and have their way with her. 😬 I guess you can say this ends with HEA. 🤷‍♀️

So, the most of the smut scenes were good for me, except I just can't get past how she was raped, manipulated, groomed and gaslit into believing she liked it. Sure eventually she was enjoying all the sex, but it was absolutely forced on her many times. She was mentally molded into what they wanted and I honestly think this girl needs tons of therapy. Its one thing to enjoy CNC fantasies, but it all started with actual rape. And adding in the step-dad just gave me the ick especially the Christmas break with the mom there. IDK, I like dark romance and RH, but this was a whole slew of non-con and some variation of Stockholm. Telling her mom at the end that they didn't force her, that she wanted everything. Thats just a big fat lie and they gaslit her hard into believing it was what she wanted and they just "knew what she needed before she did" psst.

I didn't hate it. I almost feel guilty for giving it 4 stars but I really enjoyed this. It is dark especially in the beginning so check your triggers. I almost DNF it when Katie thought Brad had been arrested for....certain things. However it was a misunderstanding so I'm glad I kept reading. This is just porn with plot. I usually don't read books with straight smut cause I need enough plot to keep me interested and this one had just enough plot to keep me reading. There was spice in almost every chapter but for me personally, it didn't feel like thats ALL it was. I liked the story and I loved the ending. Yes it's dark and taboo, and I do think the author shouldve included a trigger warning page. All in all, I loved it.

I cannot stress enough, check content warnings PRIOR to reading. Other than that, this was almost difficult to rate. It’s really a “you get what you get” and Bodie puts it well in the smut with a sprinkle of plot lolll. It’s basically p0rn, but that was my choice to make and baby did I make it. 😂😅 I think I rated this 3 stars due to my lack of connection with the characters and the pink number never making a show for Henry, that got to me a little bit. Howeverrr~ if you’re looking for something a little dirty and a lot taboo, give this a go and you probably won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be checking into some other works from this author. 🥵🥵
