I have never made bread in my life, and it is something I want to do in the near future. Baking bread is something that I have always been curious about. I think this book provides a great assortment of breads from all over the world. There is just a picture at the beginning of every chapter, but the rest of the recipes have no pictures at all. I think chapter 12 is just something I haven’t found in other books. and it is super helpful. I wonder what Tortilla de patata has to do in a book of bread recipes. I suppose it is due to a possible confusion with the Mexican word tortilla which is a type of bread. However, tortilla in Spain means omelet, so no bread at all, just eggs and, in this case, potatoes and onion. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
