Wow all I know to say is wow and well wtfffff Brooklynn 😅

This book does NOT feel like a debut authors novel! I absolutely loved every single thing about this book! The writing style was amazing and keeps you hooked start to finish! Its super fast paced and easy to keep up with!

This dark romance is a MUST read for all of the dark romance lovers out there! It has everything you could want like age gap, stalking, death, kidnapping and so much more to make this story whole!

I'm ABSOLUTELY obsessed with the main couple Wes and Addison!!!! And this author wrote them perfectly!!! The spice was amazing I always worry that some books will have cringy spice but with this book it wasn't even possible because the spice was PERFECT!

The main character is a junior in high school who is about to go on summer break. She goes to a party where she is involved in a car crash that takes the life of one of the people in the car. Her boyfriend is also m!rdered the same night. The k!ller has a fixation on her.

My thoughts: This story has several editing issues that hinder the story flow since it takes a minute to try to figure out what the author wants to convey. The relationship between the main character and the cop was pretty cringy, but I think that was intentional. The ending also left me confused because there just wasn't enough to understand what was happening in the last scene.

Overall, the story was okay, but not enough to be able to recommend it.

Instantly u feel like I’m inside this friend group along with the characters which I feel is super hard for authors to do at least in a first chapter so congrats Brooklyn your top tier girl!💕

Ugh teenage boys and fake friend!🤦🏼‍♀️ Addison really doesn’t need a friend like Cassie or Savannah. Like how do you sleep with your friend’s boyfriend behind her back and not say one word! But also this situation is so relatable and realistic!

This story is so addicting I’m not even gunna lie I read it in one sitting because I literally couldn’t stop myself! I can not wait for book 2 to see if Addison gets out of the Asylum and what happens with Wes!

If I could give this book 10 stars I would! Brooklynn does an amazing job keeping you guessing at what is going to happen next. And that cliffhanger?! I NEED to know what happens next. Wes and Addy are perfect together. Brooklynn gives a unique take on a stalker romance that has the perfect balance of romance and plot. When I tell you that I didn’t want to adult until I was finished with this book it’s an understatement. I needed to keep turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next in the story.

Wow, what a read! I couldn’t put the book down! Read it straight through. To say that Addison was pulled into so many shocking events and trauma in her life is an understatement! The ending was not as I expected. Brooklyn Wooford did an amazing job with the descriptive narrative of this story! I look forward to more readings of her books!

I think I'm going crazy now, did someone say debut?!

Stalker. One of my favorite tropes and I now have another one that I can tell people about when they ask about books that fit my faves.

I am in love with Wes, in fact I shared with one of my friends that I hoped it was Wes because I would be sad if anything happened to him within the short time that I read about his existence. The relationship with him and Addy is so sweet, I absolutely love their characters together, and then there were moments where I was like, wait, or am I going to hate him in the end?

This book once again has all the emotions; happiness, sadness (or maybe I'm just an emotional person), and plenty of wtf moments.

The writing is incredible and you can easily connect with what is going on through the clear descriptions.

I need the next book like yesterday, and will be (im)patiently waiting for one to come out.

I was given an ARC of this and really, really wanted to like it. What drew me in was the stalker trope (guilty, it's a fav of mine) but I feel like it wasn't executed as well as it could have been. I felt like the age of the main character and her thoughts made most of the book feel childish and I questioned a lot of her reactions. I'm not sure if that was intentional by the author or not. The 'big reveal' at the end felt very rushed and was lacking in my option. Actually, a lot of the book felt rushed because there was so much detail about other things and not where the bulk of the writing should have been.

Overall this book ended up not being for me. It needed a serious edit that made it hard to get through in some parts. I would love to see the author take this book, re-edit it and re-release it. There is so much they can do with this story.

**Check your triggers. There are themes in this book that will horrify some of you and piss the rest of you off. **

As for me, I ate this book up! I never wanted it to end. When it did, there were a number of profanities that slipped past my lips, because this can't be the end, can it? I'm going with absolutely not!!

One tragedy followed by another has Addy reeling. Then comes along the hot as sin police officer who helped her that night and she is all in before she has all of the details. Remember those secrets? Yeah, that is where those come into play. Between Wes, her hot policeman and the stalker that just won't quit Addy's last summer before senior year isn't shaping up to be the best. That is after everything that happens at the beginning that I will let you figure out on your own.

Brooklynn Michelle is a new to me author who took some of my favorite tropes and put them together so beautifully in one little package. That little package is Stalkholm. A stalker romance, with age-gap themes, hot as sin bedroom moments and an ending that will have you begging for more.

Honestly the writing was super juvenile, there was a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes that made it difficult to read at times. I’m also all about an age gap, but the fact that the FMC was literally a high schooler and the MMC was a 28 year old police officer was way to difficult to look past. Multiple times the FMC would be wondering how she was so lucky to land this man, and why he would want her, girl I’m wondering too, because you’re a literal child. She also compares his protectiveness to her dad 🤢 I’ve read a lot of grey stuff, but high schoolers with adults is not taboo it’s weird

🌟ARC review🌟

The glows...

I can always appreciate where, as the reader, get thrown right into the thick of it. The story has a great jump start, and while I'm not usually drawn to high school drama scenes, it was necessary for the start of the plot. Additionally, the villain (while quite sadistic) and plot twist/cliffhanger at the end were very compelling.

The grows...

While I'm interested in seeing how this story plays out in the next one, there were some things about the story that kept getting under my skin. The encouraged inappropriate underage-but-then okay snap decision romance along with how immature Addison proved to be time and time again weren't the best ways to highlight a story that has incredible potential. I really felt like those plot points could have been written in a more appealing light. But then it does make me wonder if this is supposed to contribute to the cliffhanger at the end?

Overall, this was a just okay effort at creating a compelling suspenseful story with a plot twist that grips you on the last page.

Addy is a typical teen in the prime of her life - great family - awesome friends - a hot boyfriend - but secrets can kill, and for Addy this is too literal! In one night she experiences the worst you think you could go through, but it doesn't stop - amidst the trauma, she's captivated by an officer who helped on the worst night of her life and he too is ensnared by their undeniable attraction to each other. Talk about mixed emotions! From anger to revenge to fear and desire - Addison has to navigate a gruesome time/path where bodies are dropping left and right all around her. On the brink of losing it all, she comes face to face with mastermind behind it all and the outcome is one shed never imagine! A must read - so intense right out the door! Satisfies on all fronts for murder, mystery, suspense, thriller, etc.. On page graphic scenes, open door spice, multi-pov and twists/turns you don't see coming!

This psychological thriller with a side of gor3 was non-stop twists and turns. I loved how this book was written. The author did a great job of keeping you in suspense and the ending will blow you away.

Addie’s life spins out of control when she finds her bf che@ting on her, gets into a car wreck, and has people around her dying in a most gruesome way. Text messages from an unknown number start appearing with pictures and promises of making her theirs.

The plot flowed nicely and there was just enough creep factor throughout the book. While at times I wanted to shake her, Addie was an interesting character. Her response to trauma and grooming were believable.

There are triggers to be aware of before reading this book: Serial unaliving, inappropriate s3xual relationship between the MCs, drug use, underage drinking and mental health rep.

I definitely want to continue reading this series.

"Stockholm" is a heart-stopping novel that grabbed me from the very first page and refused to let go. Despite not being my usual genre, I was immediately drawn into its gripping narrative.
The protagonist's naivety, though frustrating at times, adds an authentic layer to the story, making her journey all the more believable given her age. Her rash decisions and inability to see the glaring red flags made me want to thump her in the nose. But that said, I remember being a young, naive teen. Someone whispers everything you want to hear into your ear especially just after the tragedy you faced, of course you’re going to believe them.
The twists and turns had my heart in my throat, and just when I thought I had it all figured out, the author threw a curveball that left me stunned. And that ending... it's the kind that lingers in your mind long after you've turned the last page, leaving you unsettled and craving more.

I really enjoyed the book at the beginning and it had me completely hooked. It was full of action and stuff going on. After the hustle and bustle of the beginning the book kinda fell into a bit of a lull. Brooklyn managed to pull it back a bit for me at the end but it then felt a little rushed. The storyline was great and the twists and turns I never expected but I didn’t feel any emotion in it. *spoiler alert* her best friend dies and she ends up in a lunatic asylum but it was very matter of fact. I should have been crying for Addy cos why was it her!

I found this author by chance and as I was intrigued by the blurb, I had to give it a go.
I love the cover! The more you look the more you see.
It flowed well. The characters were excellent.
Wes, as a reader you could see the red flags but he said all the right things.
Addy, because she was young her emotions and decisions worked well for her character.
It kept my attention, and I hurt for Addy. So much pain in a short amount of time.
Overall, I much enjoyed it. It is well worth a read if you like dark romance. I would happily read more from this author.

3.5 stars. I really wish I could .5 as this one for me was hard. The story itself was amazing. It drew me in, and I desperately wanted to see it unfold. But the actual writing wasn't the best. I want to 4 - 5 star for the plot but I kept getting thrown out by how badly it flowed in places, and general over description of unnecessary things. Is it worth the read still? Yes, I believe so. Just be aware of the weird writing style, etc.

Good freaking lord!!! So many twist!!! You will think you know who did, then you will question yourself, then you be back at square one. This book kept me on my toes. Even with the Multi POVs you with still not be able to unravel all the mysteries. The suspense of needed to know what happens next will have you reading through the night. Also sorry to say that ending isn't going to answer all of your questions, not yet at least. If you cant tell I am hooked on this book and will be on the series as well.
