Rasmussen demonstrates unmatched expertise in the subject he discusses, to the point that it’s almost hard to believe it’s all written by one person. Despite its detailed nature, it stays very engaging. I look forward to reading his book on ECT.

Poorly written book if you’re interested in understanding big picture and the actual “story” of a drug and its place in culture. Probably good for clinical researchers but Jesus not for anyone else looking for an interesting read even if they are more interested in the nitty gritty.
