The research center, The Hive, is set up like a colony. There are workers, soldiers, and breeders. Once a specific caste claims a person, there is no way out.

Ennio is a prisoner and research guinea pig in the lowest castes.

He is given a chaperone to keep him entertained and out of trouble. Nazzarine, a young “worker” girl, is appointed for the job. Much against her will, but without any say in the matter, she is placed on living with him. What starts as a horrible experience slowly becomes a symbiotic relationship and will later bloom into love.

Ennio struggles in his new environment, where he is constantly forced to his knees.

When he is offered the opportunity to become a soldier, he grabs it in the hope that he will be able to escape the Hive that way. However, his superior, Tabris, thinks he is most unworthy to fill a spot in the Royal troops and is doing everything in his power to block Ennio. Things escalate quickly, and when Ennio has Tabris in his power, ready to break his neck, rescue comes from a very unexpected corner. The cards get shuffled, and the game is on….

I was born in Flanders, Belgium, and lived a very traditional life. I studied to be a nurse, married, had a dog, a kid…, and the usual stuff.
But inside, there was always the tickle to write. Just for fun, as a hobby.
I am the person you can send out to Mars as long as my laptop can come along.
Winter is my favorite season because I have time to enjoy writing, and I love the coziness.
I like to snuggle on the sofa and have my hot cocoa in front of the fireplace. That is the time when the stories come to life.
I am fortunate to live in rural BC, Canada, so I have nature’s playground just in my backyard.
Hiking and snowshoeing are the outdoor activities I love the most.
Food is another love of mine. Enjoying a good meal with friends is a thing that makes me happy. I like to be in the kitchen, trying out new recipes.
I traveled the globe in a previous life, looking for my forever home; today, I found it.

Publishing a book has always been a dream and the number one item on my bucket list.
With a big smile, I can say, “I did it!”
