This is the second book of the series as it is a continuation of the first book so make sure you read book one first. First off I love the characters, the banter is so much fun and the spice is just delicious. Dahlia is a sassy bratty FMC who has four men pining over her Tor, Kai, Caspian and Cain. When I tell you I have never been so jealous of an FMC in my life. These men will do anything for her and are all drawn to her. The MFM primal scene was illegal. The audiobook is honestly my favourite it brings the scenes and these characters to life. The audiobook is an experience highly recommend.
Now on a personal level and it’s maybe just me I’m struggling to understand the big picture and why things are happening. We get flashbacks of some character's pasts but I’m still in the dark about why all this is happening. I guess the final two books may unravel the answers I am after. But I’m still lost in the storyline and plot front and not grasping a full understanding.
Overall really enjoying and hoping I’ll have the answers in the final two books.

Audiobook Review - Full cast, duet narration, featuring Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, John Hartley, JF Harding, James Joseph and Samantha Brentmoor.

I absolutely love this series so much! The plot is rife with suspense and the dynamic between these characters is explosive and so much fun to listen to. There were so many times I literally caught myself laughing out loud. There was great progress made in each different relationship and in the storyline as well. The mystery/suspense aspect of the story is the key though. I am one hundred percent hooked on this story and cannot wait to continue this series.

The narration is nothing short of phenomenal. Each narrator performs their role with so much passion that you can feel it through the headphones. Every one of these male characters are unique with far different personalities and accents and their prospective narrators definitely got the memo when it comes to bringing them to life through their performances. I had absolutely no issue is discerning which character was which and it eliminated some of the issues I have when listening to other books in dual or solo narration. Stella Hunter did so well with Dahlia's character and the cameos from Samantha Brentmoor were such a fun addition to the book.

A little more is revealed in this story about Dahlia, Tor, Kai, and Cas. There is a big reveal about Cain and his relationship with Dahlia. This is an OMG moment, that makes me think, what the heck is coming next!
This story is a smorgasbord of intrigue, spice, steam, deborchuery, unrequited love, loss and pain.
This is a great book that tantalises you by leaving things just out of reach. It reveals a few morsels but, still ends up leaving more loose ends that need answering.

Hunted Beast is the second book in the Mate Games: Death series and it is amazing. Dahlia is such a kickass, relatable character and her four mates Hook, Tor, Kai and Cain are as sexy af and I can't decide which one of them I love the most. The star of the show, however, is A**hole, what a good doggy! It's sexy, smutty and hilarious - go read it!.
