Nicole Simpson doesn't believe in love at first sight. But the instant spark between her and Justin Hadley leaves her weak at the knees and wanting to know more about him. He's funny, charming and very interested in her, a combination she finds irresistible. Yet, there's more to Justin than charm and enthusiasm. He is seriously into doing good in the world, which has led him to do humanitarian work in Haiti. And when they meet, he is seriously considering an offer to go back there. Leaving Spencer Island is the last thing on Nicole's mind. But so is letting go of the one man who offers the kind of love and happiness she could only imagine...
I fell in love with reading at a very early age, mostly because my mother was a school teacher and she insisted that my sisters and I be able to read really well. It wasn't until a career change that I was able to embrace my joy of writing. I'm happiest when I'm writing. I will always write. I can't help myself. A pleasant, realistic, and richly textured romance - multiple family issues are explored and resolved, and Nicole has other things beside romance on her mind. Meanwhile, Justin alternates between sweet and boorish while sexual tension builds. Having started with book 3 in this series, I'm looking forward to going back to 1 and 2, and reading about the other couples mentioned.
