Anyone who has elderly parents can relate to this heartwarming box set, especially when Lacey Flowers's mother takes off without informing her children of her whereabouts. On the other hand, anyone with grown-up children who take their responsibilities towards their parents seriously will also relate to the feeling of being hemmed in and having their decisions taken away from them. When the unexpected happens, family and friends are drawn together with a common purpose, mainly to track down Cordelia's whereabouts, and all of a sudden all the other problems and difficult decisions they have to make, are shrunk down to their proper size, bringing clarity and a new understanding of what is truly important. What could have had a heartbreaking outcome becomes a source of healing and new beginnings in this endearing family drama. I received a copy of this lovely story as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

In this endearing family saga with a surprise mystery, Laura brings together Lacey, her brother Buck and her "almost fiance" Gator to find her missing mother. Although her mother left her a note, the dog ate most of it so it was unreadable. Taking the journey with this trio was heartwarming and loving - two ingredients in every Laura Brighton book. This boxset is a great deal because each short book has a very surprising cliffhanger and you won't have to wait for the next installment! The ending is very satisfying and I heartily recommend it!

Mother Gone Missing is an intriguing mystery that immediately captured and held my interest! There is a lot of drama and mystery as Lacey checks with her mother's friends. Then Lacey and her brother Buck chase after their mom to Ashville and then on to Jacksonville. Lacey talks to Gator at night. Lacey and Buck meet Charles, the man responsible for flying their mom to Jacksonville. Gator shows up with a surprise and Cordelia wakes but does not know anyone. Then Gator’s grandmother calls because she found the rest of the note. The epilogue is the perfect ending for this mystery.

Mother Gone Missing, the Complete Series, is a Tybee Family Friends and Sweet Romance Series by Laura Brighton. I thought that this series was excellent and because each book ended in a cliffhanger, I thought it was nice to immediately move to the next book. The story begins with Lacy and Gator's engagement. They break up about the time Lacy's mother dissapeared. This series has love, mystery, puzzles, and tons of unexpected surprises. I think this series is Laura Brighton's best writing… exceptional! Clean Interconnected Romantic Mystery Series HEA Boxset

Best way to read this series!!!

Join Lacey as she struggles to commit to Gator, locate her missing mother with the help of her brother Buck, and deal with all of the surprises along the way. Each individual book ends in a cliffhanger but the series does have a HEA. Characters overlap with other series by Laura Brighton. Don't have to read in chronological order but would be more enjoyable.

This is a set of six books that begin with a two life long friends, their families, and neighbors. During a storm the beloved dog goes missing. Then her mother goes missing. Part of a note is found saying Mom is sorry. An engagement is broken. Pieces start to be revealed by book four. An unknown man appears and things get confusing. I don’t want to give away the surprises. You have to read them in order since the story develops as time passes. Take your time and enjoy how the layers are exposed. The setting makes me want to go on vacation.

This series was such a sweet, heartwarming story with mystery and emotion that made it so exciting. Amazing characters, beautiful beach setting and a storyline that made this a delightful read.
