My name is Sam Spencer. I'm a detective e for Oakland County. I do whatever it takes to bring people down that I need to, including going under cover and embedding myself with the enemy. I go by many names and change my appearance however I see fir for the particular job. They never know I'm law enforcement, and when I go in, I get deep. I'm afraid that one day I'm going to go in so deep that I won't even know who I really am anymore. It's a scary part of the job, but it's what I do. I wasn't expecting to meet Faith Hernandez, I never thought I could fall for someone so deeply while being embedded. Her family is in deep with running drugs and weapons in my county, and it's me who's going to bring them down. I just hope I can stay long enough to get her out. One look at her olive complexion, sage green eyes and flowing black hair and I was ready to give up my entire world to keep her safe. She doesn't know who I am. She doesn't know why I'm really here. I just hope that when she finally finds out who I am, she doesn't hate me. I'm a Narc, an undercover detective with a job to do. I'll either take them all down, or die trying.

I love everything that Jillian writes and this book did not disappoint. Narc is not like anything she has written but it still has the cast of friends we love. Sam is undercover and the minute he see Faith, there is just something about her he just can’t shake. He will do whatever he has to including risking his own life to save her. Faith on the other hand has been dealt a crappy life. Her patent died when she was little and the Uncle she thought would loved her turned her life upside down and abused her in the worse way. She meets Sam and immediately senses their is something different about him.. Can Faith trust him when people she trusted her whole life have let her down? The road these two take will have you rooting for them to the very end and will show you what people are willing to do for the people they love. This book deserves more than 5 stars and is a must read of 2024
