From the first chapter I was hooked. I couldn’t put the book down. So good. It started off in Paris with Emma leaving Paris heading to New York to start an Internship at a real estate firm. She was sitting at the airport waiting for the flight when she saw a pregnant woman upset with her seat so Emma gave it to her. That is where she met this guy he said that he saw what she did and she was super confused. She didn’t know what he was talking about. She went to board the plane and her ticket was canceled. Turns out Tony bought her a first class seat next to him. They hit it off but they didn’t give names. She wanted to be mysterious. So he did the same thing. With a little liquid courage she flirted with him. When they landed in New York they were going to go their separate ways. But he offered her a ride so she took him up on it. As soon as they got to her new place she got out and she immediately felt someone watching. She looked around and saw someone with binoculars. Things just get better from there. She settled in with her roommates. Cami is a riot. I love her story and what you have her doing in the book. When Emma started work she determined that the guy from the plane was her new boss and her fathers friend. The story just gets better from there. When Julie and Damon come in. Damon is a flirt and girls flock to him. Julie and Emma became great friends. I love how the story ended with Tony and Emma. Can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens.

Emma Blake is a 19-year old virgin itching to start a life in New York after her father’s betrayal. Emma’s father sent her to New York from Paris for an internship with Russo Enterprises. Emma wants to do this on her own and not live on dad’s money. Is she ready for the real world?

Tony Russo, CEO of Russo Enerprises, learns of a good deed someone on his flight from Paris to New York did and bought them a first class ticket. That person was Emma Blake. Both Emma and Tony decided to keep their identities secret. After a few drinks, Emma decides she is interested in joining the mile high club. Tony is more than willing to oblige despite being twice Emma’s age. He’ll never see her again, right?

This book is so much more than an age-gap romance. There is a mystery wrapped around this possible love story. So many questions, so many wants and desires. I enjoyed that is book stayed light despite some of its heavy topics. Is Emma ready for an adult relationship? Is Tony ready to get over the past and make a future with Emma.

This book does end rather abruptly. Fortunately, this is Book 1 of a duet. Readers will get more. I am ready for the next book.I can’t wait to see what Emma and Tony are up to.

The multiple POVs was very confusing to me, which hindered the story somewhat. I’m not sure why Cami’s POV was included to be honest, unless she’s going to be in the next book?
It was well written, Emma was perfectly described as the naive 19 year old, and Tony the aloof older man. I’m just not sure I believed it, if you know what I mean. Mi gave 4 stars because the story was good, it just wasn’t my favoured style

Emma

Emma is starting an internship with one of her dads friends. She didn't expect her boss to be the man that she met on the airplane trip from Paris though. Now she'll have to navigate her feelings and deal with things happening in her personal life as well. This is a really good book. I'm excited to get started on the next one.

This is Volume one in the Rich and Sexy Saga

Emma Blake meets a mysterious man on a flight, and is smitten at first sight. Reminded of a memory of her father, she is hesitant to trust men, especially those older than her.

Tony Russo is a billionaire. When he sees Emma being kind to another passenger, he realizes that she reminds him of one of his past loves and upgrades her ticket so she can with with him. They chose to keep their identities secret, but that just adds to the mystery.

After arriving in Manhattan, Emma finds that she misses him. Will she see him again?

When Emma starts at her internship she finally finds out who her mystery man is, her boss. Knowing he should be off limits, she pushes her feelings deep down, but they’re certain to resurface.

Between having to suppress her feelings and dealing with a mystery stalker, Emma’s life in Manhattan is not what she expected.

This is a super quick paced age gap read, and also really steamy. 🔥

Volume two releases in July 2024!

I was given this book from the author herself in exchange for a review so here goes!😋

I thought this book started off really strong, I enjoyed the characters and the story plot was a really good idea! I enjoyed the spice, but just wish I saw more romance/jealous vibes from Tony.

I felt like there was missed opportunities to make this book even better, by using more detail / delaying the ending and having more of a build up, really showing the tension between Tony and Emma. I felt that I didn’t get to know the characters as well as I would’ve wanted to, like Emma’s best friends, work colleagues, I feel like those relationships really make the story so much better!

Overall, it was a good quick read, I am looking forward to seeing what book 2 has to offer!😋

I thought this was a great read. Rich and Sexy is a romantic age gap novel and the characters of Tony and Emma were both fun to read about. Tony fits the older man to a tee. He is rich and very experienced in life whereas Emma is only nineteen, inexperienced in life and the daughter of Tony’s friend. The chemistry and sizzle is there between them but Emma reminds Tony of a past love. I wonder whether these two will give themselves a chance at love. I enjoyed this very much and cannot wait to get my hands on book two.

Hot Age Gap Read!

I loved the story and all of the characters in this book! I felt that I really got to know Emma and Tony and truly enjoyed reading this story. The story itself is much deeper and well developed than I anticipated and because of it being so well written, I just couldn’t put it down. I do have to say that I need the next book because the story isn’t done.

Hot garbage. Maybe the author is a 15 year old girl. That's the only explanation for this trash.

The FMC is naive to the point of disability. Newport Beach is not an isolated convent town in Victorian England. This girl should have been more worldly simply by making it to the age of 18 and having access to television, movies, and books. Her frequent reference to her friend's billionaire romances shows that she knows books exist, but maybe she's never read one. Also, boarding school is full of other people, and they share their life experiences, so somehow she would have been exposed to things outside her bubble.

The MMC was okay. Very vain but not a bad guy. He was kind of boring and a little ridiculous. Mister "I never sleep with the same woman twice," and is a single billionaire, was going to have unprotected sexy times with a stranger? That makes no sense.

On another note, billionaires don't marry women they just met within a week without a prenup. They aren't that stupid.

How old is the MMC? How old is her dad? Where her parents married? Why did they have her so young?

There are so many things wrong with this book. I will not be reading the next book in the series.

Save your time. There are MUCH better billionaire romances out there.

RICH & SEXY launches in the Paris airport, brimming with "color, intrigue, and a hint of je ne sais quoi," an apt metaphor for the overall vibe of this book. Boarding the plane, young protagonist Emma is immediately smitten by an alluring stranger twice her age, who approaches her and talks her up. It's the start of a love affair, predictable but pleasantly spicy -- and it's just as the title promises: young, kind, creative, apparently-drop-dead-gorgeous teen ("ever since she'd turned 12, plenty of adult men glanced her way") swept off her feet by way-too-self-assured, too-hot-for-his-own-good, conveniently-happens-to-be-a-billionaire[-and-this-adds-to-his-charm-does-it-not?:)] silver fox who just happens to be her future employer. There's plenty here for romance afficionados -- astrology, jealousy, betrayal, nude roommates, work affairs, steamy scenes, past demons and present-day ghosts (metaphorically speaking), and much more.

Some abrupt head-hopping had me head-scratching, the book would have benefitted from a hawk-eyed proofreader, and I did want some deeper development of the MCs, but it's overall a well-written and smooth narrative that's easy to dive into and get lost in. While not a groundbreaking premise or plot, this realiable predictability of plot and protagonists is exactly what will delight typical readers of this genre. Sass has taken the bones of a tale-as-old-as-time forbidden romance and given it a juicy modern twist with a decidedly Manhattan flavor. If you're looking for a light and spicy billionaire romance novel -- the sort that Emma's friend Jamie devours -- go ahead and sink your teeth into this yummy bad boy.

While there are some grammar and spelling errors, the biggest problem, structure-wise, is the lack of paragraph development. Every sentence is a new paragraph. This creates confusion, especially in dialogue. Another structure problem, for me, is the story is told in the present tense. While this is a legitimate method, it’s difficult to do well. In this case, the author succeeds probably half the time.

And then there are the too frequent overly descriptive presentations of things irrelevant to the story. For example, why does the reader need three paragraphs describing a salad bar? Unfortunately, by the middle of the book, I was skipping irrelevant descriptions. Readers already know a Rolls Royce is an expensive car. They don’t need several paragraphs describing the interior.

Then there is the development of tension only to be deflated at the end. For example, Emma shares an apartment with two other women. They discover there is a stalker watching them. They are obviously worried and talk about going to the police. As the tension builds, the scene ends with “…we’ll discuss going to the police. For now, I suggest we enjoy some of my cilantro-spiked chicken soup.” Or the scene between Emma and Russo: “…molten glow in his eyes fills her with terror.” Followed immediately with: “What’s wrong?” His eyes warm with concern.”

And then there’s Emma’s supposed consuming passion for Tony Russo, yet she’s immediately attracted to other good-looking men and either fantasies about them or has sex with them.

There is far too much going on in the story. While it makes for plenty of action, it does not allow for character development. Key characters are only superficially fleshed-out.

Now, having said all this, the author is not without talent. There is enough good writing in the novel that caused me to want to finish it.

This is a coming of age story of sorts. Emma is young, just nineteen, rather innocent and rebellious. Catching her father in bed with her nemesis has spurred her to ignore his directives save one….an internship with Russo Enterprises. Living and working in New York comes with a lot of surprises. First her roommates are far more experienced in the ways of the world, making Emma feel not only out of place but also unprepared. Their world includes talking to spirits, sexual behaviour online and a stalker. Second, her new boss is the far too attractive, much older man she met on her trip from Paris to New York. The man who gave her a taste of sexual delights, though he stopped short of taking her virginity. Tony Russo is man she can’t get out of her mind and seems to have a huge crush on. Working as his assistant is definitely going to be a test of her mettle because he has made it clear there will be no further intimacies between them.

Working at Russo Enterprises is similar to high school, mean girls, backstabbing, cliques and those trying to impress everyone else. So much is going on behind the scenes that Emma knows nothing about. Who should she trust? Tony proves to be an enigma. Charming one moment, all but ignoring her the next almost seeming jealous. She sees he is not so indifferent to her as he claims, but she has little idea of what to do next. Emma soon proves that she is willing to go after what she wants.

I found the characters and storyline to be fascinating. I can’t wait to read the next book to find out what happens between Emma and Tony. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

This book gives us little romance, a little drama, a lot of steam, Sass Green packs a lot into this story. Danger, intrigue, romance, and some very interesting characters. I’m curious to see where this series goes from here.

Emma Blake is 19 and on her way from Paris to New York. She found her father in his hotel room with a girl, Suzy Baker, Emma’s high school nemesis. Suzy was naked with a huge diamond ring on her finger. In the airport, Emma is approached by a handsome man around her father’s age. He says he knows what she did and it was really sweet.

Emma gave up her premium seat up for a cramped coach seat to a pregnant woman. Her mystery man buys her a first class ticket next to him. They get to chatting and choose to not give there real names, so she picks Madame X and he picks Monsieur Y. She asks him to make her a member of the mile-high club.

They do fool around a bit but don’t go all the way because Emma is a virgin and Monsieur Y doesn’t want to take advantage of her.

A few days later, Emma enters Russo Enterprises and finds out that Monsieur Y is really Tony Russo, her new boss. Tony and her father were friends in graduate school.

Can Emma learn the real estate business from Tony? Can Tony keep away from Emma except in a professional way? Who is stalking Emma and her roommates?

I can't wait to to read more in this series and find out what unfolds, I highly recommend reading it, you won't be disappointed.

I grabbed Rich & Sexy because it was a contemporary age gap billionaire story and I'm currently enjoying that genre. I needed a quick, fun read. This book fulfilled that need!

Tony and Emma were a spicy "accidental" duo. I enjoyed their chemistry and their different points of view. The writing was good and gave me a good sense of the characters, their feelings and where the story was going. It read very easily, moving along quickly, chapter by chapter. Sometimes, maybe too quickly.

Reading was somewhat choppy throughout. The story seemed to jump from one scenario to a completely different scenario in the next chapter, sometimes just leaving you hanging and wondering what happened...it had me asking "how did they get to the next day all of a sudden???" more than once. I found that a bit unsettling, but honestly, it didn't really bother me much. The story was still interesting, the characters capturing my imagination and spurring me on to find out what was going to happen.

The ending felt very rushed to me. There was a somewhat sinister undercurrent happening that wasn't really well developed and suddently it came to a big conclusion. Next thing you know, the hot duo of Tony and Emma were in Italy turning up the heat! All a bit too fast for me. I would have loved to see things drawn out and developed more throughout this story, but all-in-all, I enjoyed the read and that's what counts! I would definitely read more from this author in the future.

Rich & Sexy is an engaging age-gap romance that begins for MFC Emma Blake on a flight from Paris to New York.

When she gives up her seat to a very pregnant fellow passenger her good deed is noticed by billionaire MMC Tony Russo who secretly bumps her ticket up to first class.

They share an attraction that spawns a little in flight hanky panky but after landing they go separate ways.

For Emma escaping Paris for a summer internship for one of her dad’s old college friends in his New York company, Russo Industries, hasn’t eased her unhappiness or pain over her dad’s super quick marriage to a girl she knew in high school.

Imagine the shock when first day of work her new boss turns out to be

Mr. Tony Russo, in flight dalliance, and with whom real names weren’t exchanged.

They agree to keep things professional but with the way Tony can’t stop thinking about Emma professional may not last long.

I enjoyed this nicely written story that included some intrigue, personal vulnerabilities, emotion, family dynamics, and romance as the two leads navigated their age difference and societal norms to reach an HEA.

First off, I was excited about the premise of "Rich & Sexy" – I mean, who wouldn't be? But as the story unfolded, I couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed. The beginning had promise, but I was left wanting more spice and interaction with Tony.

The spicy scenes left me cringing more than swooning. They felt awkward and didn't quite hit the mark for me. And speaking of marks missed, the changing POVs were a puzzle in themselves. Abrupt shifts made it a struggle to keep track of who was speaking, which made it confusing to follow at times.

Cami's POV felt like an unnecessary detour that didn't quite fit the bigger picture. The writing style also contributed to the roller coaster experience – choppy and all over the place. Scenes jumped without warning, causing me to backtrack to see if I missed a part. I found myself skimming during parts of over-explanation that didn’t lend to the core story.

In a nutshell, "Rich & Sexy" didn't quite deliver the steamy, engaging read I anticipated. While it had its moments, the execution left me craving more coherence and consistency.

Although romance novels are not normally my thing, I was somewhat captivated by Emma’s story in ‘Rich and Sexy’ by Sass Green. The plot line was simple, and the short paragraphs and chapters were a little annoying, but there was something about Emma that intrigued me. When I finished the book, I realized not much had happened, but the thin narrative was flushed out by vivid descriptions of the characters’ rich surroundings, emotions, and desires. Like the author’s first name, Emma was naïve but full of sass, and her girlfriends' personalities complimented her cheeky nature. As for the story, was Emma getting back at her father for marrying a girl half his age by entertaining a sexual relationship with a forty-something man, who she later discovers was her father’s college buddy? Perhaps this explained her friskiness. Yet, it is a little bit hard to believe that a so hot-to-trot of a 19-year-old could still be a virgin, given the extent she is willing to go to publicly tease or entertain detailed sexual fantasies of men that she just met. Ah, but I guess this is part of the allure of romantic novels about the rich and sexy.

This billionaire romance had me hooked from the beginning of the book. I love hot you get various POV for some of the characters. The chemistry between Emma and Damon is smoking hot and the personalities were brilliant and very entertaining. The book is full of steamy scenes and the author did a brilliant job with this book at it contains danger, intrigue and romance. Sass Green is a fabulous author and this is just an example of her work and I'd recommend it.

This was such a fun read. I loved the characters and the story was so original.

Emma is in Paris and is heading to New York to start a new job. She meets a guy who talks to her. He is intrigued by her because she gave up her first class seat to a pregnant lady. When she goes to board the plane she realizes she has been upgraded to first class. Of course she sits beside the man. She decides they shouldn't give their names. They flirt and have a good time together. Once they land he offers to give her a ride to her apartment. She agrees and then she realizes he is busy with his phone and so he leaves.

Emma shows up to her new job and realizes the man from the plane is actually Tony, her father's friend, and her new boss. They try to keep things all business but there is so much chemistry. Tony lost his love a long time ago and doesn't think he is capable of that kind of commitment. He feels Emma is too young for him.

There is a lot of suspense and things going on with Emma's roommates. Will Emma and Tony find a way to get together? You have to read to find out. I look forward to the next book.

I liked the premise of the book but the story was more about Emma's new life and adjusting to so many changes, not so much a romance story. I don't feel like the billionaire (Tony) was in the book very much. Emma thought about him but didn't have much interaction with him throughout the book. It was confusing why Emma's roommate (Cami) POV was included in the story but very little of Tony's POV. I really enjoy multiple POV's but many times the POV would change abruptly and I was confused who's story I was reading. I felt there was unnecessary information (Cami & Damon stories) as well as not enough (Emma & Tony) in some parts of the story. There were a few grammatical and typo errors, which is not the biggest deal but irks me really bad so its hard to keep reading and not get distracted. I give the book 2 stars because the story had enough going on to keep me interested but not cohesive with a romance story. FYI, I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Paris airport, young Emma gives up her premium seat to a screaming pregnant lady and catches an attractive stranger’s onyx eyes, with “his scalpel-sharp jawline the FBI could classify as a lethal weapon.” He’s more than twice her age and his name’s Tony. Never trust a Tony, I digress. But Emma’s used to adult men checking her out, so no biggie, she plunges right into the action “to do that thing everyone always whispers about.” The gorgeous Tony excels in the sport of love, but wait, he stops, “What’s this?” “What is what?” Nothing matters to Emma, but this twist does matter to Tony, and so begins Emma’s romance with her silver ghost charming as sin billionaire.
There’s so much happening in this steamy novel, which only distracts from the characters’ development, along with the paragraph style, inconsistent tense and confusing dialogue with plenty of details I could have done without.
It’s not the type of romance I normally read, but Sass Green writes well and the story-flow should delight those interested in steamy contemporary saucy billionaire age-gap romance.

First, this book was a hilariously fun read. It made me throb with excitement and my bosoms heave with anticipation (okay, it would have if I had bosoms). From that first strongly assured touch along my inner thigh to the drawing of the curtain across the veil of my chaste mind...
Okay, now seriously, I am over impressed by Sass Green's ability to work every romance trope I could imagine into this novel. The writing is excellent. When I wasn't chuckling I was taking notes on how seamlessly she used the tropes to move the story forward, meaning the tropes weren't driving the story, the story used the tropes to keep the story moving forward to its inevitable climax (sorry, couldn't help myself).
I'm not into Romance as a genre but I am into good writing and Sass Green is on my radar. Green is an author I can learn from. Thanks!

When you do something nice for someone, out of the kindness of your heart, you don't always get rewarded; but, that is exactly what happens to Emma.

When Tony sees a nice act of kindness, he can't help but pay back her generosity. He sees that Emma is on his flight, luckily the see beside him, in first class, is available - so he takes it upon himself and upgrades her seat. Much to her surprise, when she boards the plane - she is taken to her new seat, beside the most gorgeous man she's ever seen. The flight has its 'ups' and she is quite enjoying herself.

She lands and expects never to see him again, they haven't even exchanged their proper names - but life goes on - and she is here to get away from her father and his new wife - a new summer job awaits her, and a new adventure with new roommates.

Rich & Sexy Volume One is a love-at-first-sight romance between a high-school graduate and her father's old college friend. This is a short book. There are curiously three POVs, which was a little confusing as to why the roommate has three or four pages from her perspective. The story had a little mystery and some surprises.

This was an enjoyable read and I was ready to give it four stars, but there are wayward words that apparently were meant to be deleted and there are several typos, as well. Memorable characters are included which would be a good base for a longer story, however, those storylines were not explored fully and ended rather quickly. These things can be easily corrected though. The book would benefit from another proofreader bypass.
