I just can't get past the fact that he is a manhohoho and that he cheated on her so many times when they were younger and together. I don't think he is redeemable and can not continue reading because I don't care about him at all!

Trash male chauvinistic reading with a man who cheated on his gf for six years but she’s the one who has to apologize because she left him without a world. And this is the lesser evil because he cheats on her constantly and there’s no evidence he will stop, ever, and she accepts because women are worthless in this authors mind. I dislike this kind of thought deeply, it’s wrong and degrading, inquisitors were lambs compared to this author. For her the women are either whores used for sex or wives that are basically slaves of their husbands, must stay chaste while their husbands fuck around and they don’t have the right to say anything. I hope all those who appreciate this kind of thing never think of criticize cults or religions that preach polygamy or that treats women like lesser beings because no cult or religion can treat women worse than the heroines in this authors books.

Rather disappointing, the storyline feeling contrived w manufactured angst related to a game of push and pull and resulting consistent volley between acceptance and rejection! This was partially incited by h withholding and or making inexplicable decisions\mistakes on the repeat .
After finding out she was pregnant, the h caught him banging and kissing club hoe.Druggie sister then manipulated her to steal 50 grand and run off.
6 years later she is in deadly trouble and seeks him out,but repeatedly withholds important information.H initially rejects her after insisting she get on her knees and beg. He thinks the better of it and then finally goes after her but oo little too late.She already faced severe consequence!
Concurrently the H proudly maintaining a hole veil, brags manly denial of his own claim to fame for their downfall ,his consistent ,blatant infidelity and relentless mission to shield himself from any intimacy other than pursuits of the flesh!
No grovel from H. As a matter of fact ,he insists that she beg him!
Protracted tale padded by repetition ,finally results in a HEA for the family unit of four ,H,h Adam(secret baby) and new pregnancy.
3 star may be generous, but rare for me to give less.
I am rethinking my impressions thinking they may have been colored by my frame of mind at the time,and deem it 3star worthy.

70% of the way through the book and this man was still talking about how he'd be stepping out on his supposed old lady but at the same time playing the "you're mine card you can't even look at the prospects", boy no thank you.
This was a book purely about the lust of the two main characters. I had high hopes for this story and its premise but at no point did I even feel like the men in this book respected the women at all. Atomic was downright awful and treated Ryan so poorly. Ryan was also a terrible person in their story, lying to him at every opportunity.
The lack of even a sliver of decorum from any of the men in this book actually made me feel gross by the end. Like please, you're all 40 year old men calling every woman "c**t" at any moment it fits into your sentence? No thanks, grow the f*ck up.
What they had was not a love story, sorry.

I'm so confused
He cheated on her with multiple people for 5 years (including her sister) but she can't be trusted because when she caught him cheating, she took some of his money and left him? His infidelity was never discussed or resolved. One of the most unsatisfying reads I've ever read.

Hayley never disappoints w/her MC’s! The Dark Horse MC series is fantastic & I’m excited for what’s next. I loved both Ryan & Atomic/Grover, but hated their past actions. One of my biggest peeves in books is when the mfc hides the child f/the father. So it really pissed me off how Ryan wouldn’t tell Atomic Adam was his kid & lied to his face by saying he was someone else’s. I understood why she ran, he didn’t respect her years prior & cheated repeatedly for years, but I felt he had a right to know he had a kid. For as frustrating as it was to watch her lie to him, one thing I was especially proud of her for was how she stood up to him at one point & threw his words back at him. And as much as she frustrated me, it was nothing to how much I wanted to throttle him when he said some really uncalled for & hurtful words to her. My heart broke for Ryan. Yes she messed up by not being completely honest about everything, but she didn’t deserve what he said to her. Because in my eyes he had more to grovel for than she did. And as he kept saying how he couldn’t trust her, I wished she would’ve thrown back at him how she couldn’t trust him because of his history w/cheating. I was also hoping by the end of the story they’d have some discussion about his infidelity & if he’d cheat again, but they didn’t. Even at one point when Ryan asked Atomic if he was only hers he didn’t answer. I know he probably will be, but a discussion would’ve been nice.
They both made mistakes, but in the end they are perfect for each other! I really enjoyed this story & can’t wait for more.

Fantastic writing, but nope…
This book wasn’t for me. One, I cannot stand men who cheat. Second, I felt sorry for Ryan. She just put up with so much and he was angry at her All the Time for the silly stuff, which was nowhere near as bad as anything I felt he did. As much as I didn’t like her for keeping her son from him, I understood why she did it though, he wasn’t ready even in his mid 30’s for children and I fe,t still didn’t really have any redeeming qualities.
This is just my opinion. Some people probably weren’t a fan of Ryan, but I feel she deserved better. I’ve enjoyed this authors books before but this wasn’t a romance for me.

A Fantastic MC Read
Grover/Atomic is the Prez of the Dark Horse MC and in his younger years he had a woman who he didn’t know how to treat the way she should be treated. Ryan was that woman who wasn’t about to stand for Atomics’ cheating ways and with a sister she was trying to rescue took off and Atomic never followed her.
Now she’s back looking for help but Atomic felt betrayed by her and doesn’t want to help the woman he once loved. Ryan and been through so much and when she ends up in the hospital it is Atomic who comes to her bedside. Things are shaky as there are so many secrets and betrayals but at least now Atomic wants to keep Ryan and her son safe.
This was a book I couldn’t put down. It was packed full of everything I love in the MC world. I always look forward to this author’s books and I’m ready to see what she brings next in the Dark Horse MC series.

I didn’t really love this one, I just felt like Ryan got a lot of crap for her behaviour and Grover (Atomic) got a free pass.
Plus I felt like the drama with the pimp ended on a bit of an anticlimax.
I read the whole thing though so not the worst, just the double standards bugged me.

Ryan and Atomic….. I’m not sure what all I can say either out giving to many spoilers but I loved this second chance, surprise kid romance. They had to come to terms with the past that they had but also an overcome the reason they weren’t tougher and it wasn’t easy. The romance and then coming together was the main focus of the story and I was hooked right from the start. I don’t want to give any spoilers but it was so good. I NEED Nash to get a book. Hopefully he will!

This was a lot easier to read than some of this authors other latest releases. I liked it. I think it showed well how people can be different ages and yet still be in the same spot in life.

He showed no loyalty for her
I hate that the author never confronted his loyalty issues for the lead. How was she supposed to be loyal to him when he was never loyal for the five years they were together. She bounced but she deserved that money she took and of course he knew she would try to take care of her sister, that's how they met. With her trying to help her sister. He should have gotten on his knees! He should have begged. Imagine walking in on your man having sex with other women but the author had her begging to stay? I enjoyed the plot but you have a screwed up image of how a woman should act for a man. If you wanted to keep his bad boy image.....maybe neither of them should have begged. That turned my stomach knowing what she had to live with for 5 years and then raised her kid all alone because HE WAS THE REASON WHY SHE LEFT!

I think there could have been more to this.
FMC leaves MMC 6 years ago, comes back to ask for help. She has a addict for a sister and tries to help her all the time. MMc is MC President. They were together and he still slept around on her. She actually sees him one time and then she leaves. No groveling from MMC about the cheating and no drama between them for it. Let down there. FMC lies about things that make no sense that she wouldn't tell him about. She has his baby who is 5 and when he asks if its his kid she lies about it. He is always mad at her about the lying. That is where their drama is. No drama with all the sleeping around he apparently did and you don't get to feel her hurt because of it.
Not a book a need to read again.

Well, he actually met her 11 years ago, and had her, but she left and now she is back, with danger lurking. Readers will love the dynamic between Atomic and Ryan, though they definitely have an emotional story with the hurt feelings they need to overcome. Atomic admits some of his mistakes (at least to himself) but his pride often gets in his way. Ryan is stubborn and determined to not let others take advantage of her, to end her enabling ways and be a woman she can be proud of, and her son can be proud of, but she also knows she must admit to her mistakes. There is a lot of information that that two don’t truly know, mostly things Ryan hid from atomic, but when they learn to communicate the world around them is a much better place. Their chemistry is also completely explosive, adding to the intensity of their story. Another amazing book from Ms. Faiman! Cannot wait for more from this MC!

Simply amazing!
Oh, my God! I loved this book! This is the second installment in the Dark Horse MC series and I didn’t think I could love it more than the first (which was FANTASTIC), but I did! Hayley Faiman delivered two very relatable, flawed and – well – human main characters.
When Grover AKA Atomic and Ryan met, their romance bloomed but it turned out that neither of them was ready to handle it. She was too young, he was too immature, despite being in his thirties (it’s an age gap story, after all). They both made mistakes and partly blamed themselves – especially Ryan. The way they parted six years prior, left them both sour (especially Grover). Was it a bad decision on Ryan’s part to flee back in the day, though? In the grand scheme of things, I am not so sure…. She left for her (totally ungrateful, I might add) sister, but she also left with something of his – well, two somethings – one way more important than the other. Fate has a way to come back and bite you, however, so, six years forward and she has to come back and ask for his help. Secrets are revealed and decisions are made. They are both more mature and ready to face everything now – and willing to address their mistakes and leave the past eventually where it belongs. The way there is rocky though. That was what I liked about this story the most. Both characters felt real to me, the way they felt and they acted – I could totally relate. I liked the way Grover realized some truths about himself as well as the way Ryan, although unwilling to forgive herself at first, realized that she needed to draw some lines and appreciate herself before letting Grover do it.
All in all, it was a great read that I totally recommend. I can’t wait to learn more about the other MC brothers and their significant others, who I am sure will rock their world. 5 well-deserved stars from me!

Hayley Faiman brings us the second book in her new series the Dark Horse MC. Filthy Secret is an age-gap second-chance romance with lies and betrayal, secrets and half-truths, love and cheating, heartbreak and stubbornness, anger, and threats. Sometimes I find a book that I like because of how much I dislike the character and this is one of those for me.
Ryan was 18 young and naive with a need for family so she follows her sister into the lions den so to speak. As soon as Ryan met Atomic she fell and vice versa but they were toxic together. All he did was cheat on her with the club girls (including her sister) while her heart broke more and more until 5 years later she was gone. She didn't leave empty handed but Atomic let it go until she came back needing help. Atomic had claimed Ryan as his ol' lady and that never changed even if he hates her and wants her to stay gone. When he refused to help her with the new problem her sister got her involved in she got hurt badly. Ryan doesn't have a choice now and all her secrets have to come out after he meets Adam.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. Ryan and Atomic are both too stubborn and hard headed for their own good. The relationship between these two went deep. They might have been toxic for each other but their also wasn't anyone else. Through most of the book I didn't like the way Atomic was especially when talking about the first time they were together when all he cared about was a different girl every night and drinking while she waited for him. Ryan got to the point in her life where she was desperate for someone to care and the first one that did never knew what he had until it was almost gone twice. There is redemption for Atomic in the end but through most of it he was just an asshole. I definitely recommend this one. Filthy Hot is out next in this series.

These two have a past that neither are proud of or have forgiven the other for, it's a messy disaster all the way around. Ryan was too young to handle all that came with their relationship and Atomic was immature, carefree and had trouble sticking to one woman, they were pretty much doomed from the start... but now they are about to get a second chance at it. Will they be able to forgive, move on from the past and embrace all these new feelings being stirred up between them, or will they let the past end things before they get started?
This book hooked me from the get-go, once my eyes found the words I was completely at their mercy, I had to know everything about these two... and what I learned about them did not disappoint at all!!! Ms. Faiman really packed the emotion, passion, heat, and intensity into the pages of this one... I have to say it's one of my favorite MC reads that I have read this year! Highly recommend!!

This is the 2nd book in Dark Horse MC series featuring the fast-paced second chance, age-gap, MC romance full betrayal,chemistry,connection, danger,enemies,lies,secrets,threats and violence between Atomic/Grover and Ryan/Legs. Atomic is the President of the Dark Horse MC him and Ryan were together for a few years until Ryan had to flee due to her totally ungrateful sister Ellen which is why she stole from the MC. Atomic also didn't seem like he cared or that he took their relationship seriously since he constantly cheated on Ryan which really hurt her. Now it's 6yrs later and Ryan's back her sister Ellen is an addict and she's in trouble which puts Ryan and her son in danger she needs help which she asks Atomic for. Atomic though is still angry and hurt over everything so he says no. However when a banged up Ryan ends up in the hospital they call Atomic. Once Atomic realizes the threat and how much danger Ryan's in he decides that Ryan and her son are going to Texas. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this fast-paced second chance, age-gap, MC romance full of betrayal, chemistry,connection,danger,enemies, lies,secrets, threats and violence to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This is the story or Grover and Ryan. it is a dark NC romance. Grover/Atomic is the president of the Dark Horse MC. When he was much younger he probably met the woman that he was meant to be with for the rest of his life. However, he didn't know how to treat her and she ran away from him. He had a lot of growing up and soul searching to do. Ryan is the one who got away. But she had a sister to rescue and he was such a awful boyfriend no one can blame her for leaving. Now that she is back she really needs his help. He can't let go of the fact that she ran from him. Even if it was his fault she left. However, the second something happens that ends up with her in the hospital he finally lets go of his pride and goes to her bedside. There are a lot of secrets between them. A ton of betrayals and a whole lot to get over. This is a book that you will not be able to put down. Now I know a lot of people will not be happy with Atomic but I always remember this is not real life and fiction. There are lost of twist and turns and you will find yourself on the edge of your seat a lot of the time. This is a great book. One you do not want to miss.

I'm going to begin by saying when I rate a Hayley Faiman book, I rate it against all of her other books that I've read. That said, I've read a lot of her books and most of which I have most definitely loved. The last series of hers that I read was just incredible! And was my favorite, favorite of hers that I'd read up until then. That said, I feel slightly bad for only giving this a 3-star because I'm such a fan of Hayley's stories and books, but to be fair, when I compare it with her last series... if that was a 5, this one - for me! - has to be at this rating level. I'm not saying there was anything wrong, it just didn't strike me like the ones before.
This is a new series, book #2 of the Dark Horse MC and Hayley Faiman is incredible at writing MC series. This is I think the second or third (might be fourth) of her MC series that I've read by now. The angle she takes with each character and plots is interesting, and that is definitely at play here. The push and pull between the two main characters in this one - for me personally - just didn't hit quite right. It was sweet but also very tumultuous at times. Of course she brought it full circle with a HEA at the end, and thank god for that! I think we needed it after every single up and down. There was a lot at play for these two so be prepared for that! But if you're into MC stories with alpha males who are quite rough around the edges, Faiman is your girl!

Atomic and his "legs"
This is the second book in the series and it was fast paced and sizzlingly hot. Atomic/Grover and Ryan caught my attention from the first book and I couldn't wait for their story and Hayley Faiman did not disappoint.
Atomic and Ryan's past though riddled with hurt and a lot of secrets, when Ryan was in real need of help Atomic did not hesitate. The feelings which he kept buried was resurrected and Ryan's eternal love for him was ignited again. Although, they still had to work through their past and present hurts and kept secrets, they eventually found their way to a happily ever after.
Their chemistry from the get go was sizzlingly hot and it was obvious that they were fated to be together.
This book was fast paced and spicy, however there were moments when I didn't like Atomic very much, Ihis disrespect for Ryan was a bit much and I thought Ryan needed more backbone. Also, to me there were things that were never truly addressed before the end. In spite of that I always enjoy Hayley Faiman'd books and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one.

Filthy Secret is book 2 in the Dark Horse MC series. Initially Atomic did not come across a someone you would want to be involved with. I was trying to cut him a break - he was young and immature so maybe it would explain he manwh*re ways. This book as in the first show the main character growing up.
Atomic treated Ryan horribly years ago and she left. Then when she came to him for help, he sent her away. After finding out she is hurt, he begins to realize just how important she is to him. Also watching Atomic with Adam will just melt your heart.
The story is paced well. I love when Ryan and Atomic are together. However there are plenty of times throughout this story I n want to tell Atomic to get his head out of his butt. Loving this series! After getting to know a little about Atomic in the previous book, as well as his situation with Ryan, I was so hoping to get their story and Haley did not disappoint! Atomic and Ryan dated years ago, and he thought she was the one, until one day she stole money from him and ran and the betrayal stung, especially as president of the MC. What Atomic doesn’t know is that Ryan did what she did those years ago to try and save and help her sister, but that bites her in the behind because her sister is slightly evil and makes her life worse than better. Another secret Ryan left with is her son, and when she is hurt and Atomic is still the emergency contact for her, he meets them both and is determined to keep them both safe. I loved the suspense that came really from Ryan’s side not necessarily the MC, and that Atomic is willing to save and take Ryan’s son as his own, unbeknownst to him the true paternity of the child. I loved the ending of this and the HEA these two got, especially after how terrible Ryan’s family is. I can’t wait to see who from the MC is next to fall in love!

I'm a little bit divided with this book because of Atomic/Grover. He is a good man and a good MC pres but he was a cheating bastard and didn't think about Ryan's feelings when they were together the first time, and now maybe he doesn't cheat but he definitively doesn't think his past failures are as important as hers.
Ryan was young (eighteen-early twenties to his thirties), and is still younger than him but she is more mature than him. Being a mom has changed her priorities and finally has made her cut ties with her toxic sister.
She comes back to him because the problems caused by her sister are coming for her and need help and protection. Grover will help her once he sees her at the hospital because of said problems, and not sure about being the real father of her child he internally wants the happy family with her and Adam.
It's a great book and loved Adam but I don't think Grover/Atomic did apologize as much as he needed to get Ryan back as his old lady.

Filthy Secret is book 2 in the Dark Horse MC series. This is Atomic and Ryan's story and it's a second chance, MC, single mom, small town romance.
I enjoyed this novel. It was a bit darker than book 1 but I will admit Atomic really tested my patience. Back when he and Ryan were first together, he cheated on her and she eventually left. Now she's back needing his help but he refused, only to rush to her side when she ends up in the hospital, when the danger catches up to her.
These two had quite an emotional story as there was secrets and hurt feeling on both sides to work through, but the chemistry was undeniable and quite explosive as they try to rekindle their relationship amongst all the obsticles.
The story was intense and action packed, giving us angst, suspense, danger, romance, steam, friendship, family and so much more. There was a great cast of secondary characters who helped move the story forward. It was a great addition to the series and I would recommend it to lovers of MC romance.

This dark MC second chance romance toyed with all of my emotions. Atomic and Ryan's past is definitely laced with all kinds of betrayal and immaturity on both parts. When she shows up after 6 years looking for help as a last resort he point blank tells he no. When unfortunate circumstances come into play well we all know how the past doesn't always stay hidden and when decides she is going to play well sometimes it doesn't matter what you think you may want.
I hated and loved Atomic at the same time. He is a hard man and lives his life his way. He has never never apologized for his actions and he sure is't going to do it for the woman who walked out on him. Ryan is a bit naive and has a bad habit of putting others before herself. Even if it means placing her life in danger. These twi characters are absolutely perfect for each other! "We’re nothing, if not a beautiful train wreck."
And it most certainly is a beautiful train wreck! Filthy Secret has all the feels and you definitely feel them all. I spent the majority of the book completely frustrated with Atomic and wanted to do not nice things to him. Ryan, she's another story altogether. I wanted her to put her foot down and, I don't know what! BUT, this truly is the best kind of story. If the storyline and characters don't evoke emotion then it's "just another read" and I promise there's nothing from this author that's "just another read". Every story is thought provoking and evokes emotion every single time. Atomic and Ryan are no different. They're completely perfect for each other and no matter how frustrated I got, by the end I could feel the chemistry between them and the depth of the love they have for each other. Filthy Secret is another fantastic story. Well done Ms Faiman!

Wow, such a wild ride! I have read other novel by this author and loved them, this novel did not disappoint. I love MC novels and this novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter this novel pulled me in and would not let go. I just could hardly put this novel down. I kept thinking just one more chapter which led me to losing a whole nights sleep. But so worth it. Wow, this novel is about Atomic/Grover's and Ryan's journey to find each other again. When they were younger they were together but Atomic did not treat her well and Ryan didn't accept being disrespected and left. There were times I wanted to shake Atomic for letting her go. I loved that Ryan loved him but wasn't putting up with being treated like that. I loved watching them reconnect and fall in love. I love when a novel keeps you on the edge of your seat reading because you need to know what is coming next. This novel did this for me. Loved it! Can't wait to see what is coming next from this author.

A lot is happening with Ryan being in danger, Grover trying to help her, and adding in the really big secret/lie she's hiding from him. And she keeps on lying. Talk about being on the edge, this book will keep you guessing about what is going to happen next. Oh, I forgot to mention, even though these two have been apart for a long time, it gets scorching hot, and sizzles when they come together again!
