Great tool to help beginners
“Short Stories in Spanish for Adult Beginners” was a great tool for one looking to expand their Spanish vocabulary. I expected the stories to be dry because that is my experience with language learning books, but this one was a pretty fun read. I love that each page had an immediate translation on the very next page- easy to reference. Nice job, Kendrick Glover

A bit confusing
The “How to use” section said there were 9 stories but there ended up only being two which was a bit confusing. Also if you like stories with endings this book is not for you. I think the concept is for you to write your own ending in Spanish but that wasn’t completely clear though it is a neat idea. I liked the quizzes at the end to help you to check your comprehension.

A Neat Concept
The concept of this style of learning a new language is interesting and the overall experience of reading the book was okay. The two stories in the book aren’t super captivating, but it does a solid job of helping you learn languages. There are a few minor errors, but they don’t hinder the main purpose of the book.

Well designed for learning and enjoying
The stories are captivating and the translations are near enough to see, but organized so they may be ignored. Quizzes help too. Good for beginners and also for those proficient to brush up and learn a phrase or two

If you need to practice your Spanish like I do, this book is a great option. It was a fun and scary read as well.
