This is the last of a long series of graded readers in Greek, which are very appropriate for adult learners. I will miss them. This one is quite an interesting mystery, which doesn't end at all the way I thought. I love having a whole book to read (this one I read in its app on my IPad, the earlier ones with way too fine type on 'y phone. I'm not sure they are still available printed.) My only desire would be that one could hear it on audio, too. I don't think I'm good enough to read "real" books yet. My teacher has discovered some PDF books with stories and exercises, intended more for young adults, but I miss the length of these books.
I finally finished this one! Had to take a break for a while to improve my Greek. This is the last - and most difficult - of all the Greek graded readers I have. It still wasn't a breeze for me to read, but I was able to get through it.
I guessed the ending early on, so it was a slow slog through lots of story to find out if I was right. This is difficult not only because of vocabulary, but because the events shift around in time a lot. Hard to keep track of what happened to whom, when. It's good practice for intermediate to upper intermediate Greek learners (say, B1 or B2).
