Fun to read how they explore Ivys sexuality and each other.
This book had more of a plot than the first one and the cliffhanger on this makes me want to read the third haha

I like that we get the story from both sides in this one.

It’s a good ”in between” book-series if you just want something easy

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TRIGGERS!
Fork was this hot!!! Fork was this intense!! I love it when a series flows from one book into the next and I love it even more when I can binge read a series! This is a series that DEMANDS attention, demands I need the next book, so who am I to deny it? Especially after that earth shattering ending in the previous book, nope, no choice but to carry on...

This book starts off... so normal. Boy meets girl, boy is taken by girl, boy can't get enough of girl, boy asks girl to move in with him. Girl says yes... normal, right? Sweet, right? But there's a catch, boy is keeping a secret from girl, he's not just the high powered, excessively rich dude she sees. And she's an active activist, a non violent activist, her whole life she's been on the side of fair, right, saving the planet. This author gets the gist of each character she presents, through the dual POV, their thoughts, inhibitions, desires, all crystal clear.

I found Ivy incredibly relatable, I feel her inner turmoil, I sense her unease, and I most certainly feel her passion! She grabs what she wants by the balls, literally, including Alastair, she makes no bones about being sensual, enjoying the spicy things in life, with no apologies whatsoever. The house, Alistair, are not as she thought, none of the glitz and sparkle, both are warm, encompassing, enticing. She's never known a man, in her words, "who makes me feel so utterly safe, loved, desired. It's addictive. He's addictive" I'll add my 5c worth, this series is addictive.... She's still suffering from PTSD, the trauma she went through, although Alastair is helping her feel secure. That is, until she starts getting disturbing messages, warning her about Alastair.

It's hard not to like Alistair, yes, he's kind of shady, ok, plenty shady but at his core he's still "just a guy", one who's becoming more besotted by Ivy by the minute, but...famous last words..."I can't believe you're here. This feels like a dream. It does feel too good to be true" I adore this man, Ms Butler showed every side of Alastair, the hard with the soft, the kind with the ruthless, the warm with the icicle. Superb!

This is an exotic, erotic read with more depth than just the sexual aspect, this is full on a test of boundaries, exploration of the soul, family values; which I know sounds ludicrous but it IS; with all the adrenaline jacked effects of crime family dealings. Soooooo much tension, especially towards the end of the book, I was mumbling "flip, flip, flip, hell NO!!!!! I came real close to a panic attack, the blood was pounding in my ears so hard! This author tightened the belt, slyly, notch by notch that I was caught totally off guard. And OMG! She delivered a bombshell at the end that rattled more than my brain, like a WTF moment with dynamite attached! Whoa!!!! Brilliant, brilliant penmanship!

Book 2 picks up right after the attack on Ivy from her ex, where we see her in recovery as she heals from the assault. Her brother is still in the hospital receiving treatment and she is planning on moving into with Alistair permanently as they decide to start a life together. The mysteries behind Alistair's life and work are still looming but as they move in together and Alistair starts to share more of himself with Ivy, the reader finally gets a glimpse into his life. I loved that we finally get Alistair's POV in this book, adding more context to the story as a whole. Ivy takes the knowledge of his truth in stride and although she has her moments of apprehension, her love for Alistair outweighs her fear of what could happen.

Even with everything going on around them, these two cannot seem to keep their hands off of each other! They continue their "mission" from the first book exploring their fantasies and desires, going to explicit clubs and events and making the use of every spare moment alone to bring each other pleasure.

Like the first book, the last 30% is INSANE with the attack on the family empire and all the twists and turns that are accompanied ending in the cliffhanger of cliffhangers! I have so many questions and I can't wait to start book 3!

Emily Dugan reprises her role as Ivy and it was a wonderful performance. Derek Duvall is new to me and wow he was a fantastic Alistair! He embodied his personality so well and I can't wait to listen to him in the next installment.

Audiobook Review of Good Girl Turned Bad, written by Blair Butler and narrated by Emily Dugan and Derek Duvall.

Book 2 of the Blood Money Billionaires series.

First of all, I just want to say how much I love the cover art for this book on the Audibe version, withe the wolf!

Book 2 picks up the story straight from the ending of book 1. Needless to say, there wouldn't be a book 2 if Ivy and Alistair's relationship hadn't continued for more than the arranged week. Their feelings are developing and with all the spice it's not surprising!

After a near-death experience, Alistair is taking care of Ivy and making sure her brother is getting the medical care he needs. However, now that some of Ivy's back story has been told and issues resolved, it is now Alistair's family who are under attack.

Book 2 is packed with action and spice, and with the introduction of Alistair's family, we learn more about his past.

The book ends on one heck of a cliffhanger I absolutely did not see coming!

Excellent narration from Emily Dugan and Derek Duval (who has a voice I could listen to all night!). Their voices work so well together - they are both fantastic voice actors who give a top-tier performance. Overall an excellent production that I loved. My favourite of the series so far!

It is very, very rare I give up on a book cos usually once I've started one that I cant really get in to, I think "I'll keep going, it might get better". I just couldn't with this. I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one but the ending of it made it slightly better, so it gave me a bit of hope for the second one. Curiosity got the better of me. I was very wrong. I understand as the reader we have to go in open minded and know it's not real, blah blah blah, but this was just too far fetched for me. Twilight was more believable than this. Im not cold hearted, I do belive in soul mates and love at first sight and all that romantic jazz amd have enjoyed plenty of books with a similar theme, but this had me going from annoyed, to actually blushing with embarrassment (and thats at the story, NOT the sex scenes). Im so glad it was on kindle unlimited and no trees were killed or money wasted.

Audiobook review: duel narration by Emily Dugan and Derek Duvall
4 stars for story / 4.5 stars for narration

Now that Alastair and Ivy are more established their banter had amped up and is so much fun. We get a lot of steamy scenes with the continuation of Ivy’s yes/no/maybe list and she is really coming into her own on that front. The plot gets even more exciting as we delve into Alastair’s family business and learn more about his enemies. And that cliffhanger rivals the one from book one.

I’m loving the addition of Alastair’s POV and the dual narration in this book. Derek Duvall and Emily Dugan have the best accents and do an equally amazing job at voicing multiple different characters. Straight on to the next book for me!

Good Girl turned Bad

Well again started off really slow. It was only the last 4 chapters that had me riveted. About time Alastair opened up to Ivy and told her everything and she did not seem to mind. Ivy got annoyed when Alastair did not mention his sister WHY? Book 3 out in Aug 😡

Dual narration was great.

The characters were fun and the story was good.

The cliffhanger was not what I expected it would be.

I am looking forward to book 3.

Good Girl Turned Bad is the second book in The Blood Money Billionaire Series. Ivy and Alastair have moved into his home in the countryside ready for their fresh start. Then life interferes and their brief period of bliss is interrupted. Can they survive this turmoil? Beware of the extremely thrilling cliffhanger! Beautiful narration by Emily Dugan and Derek Duvall. They portrayed Ivy and Alastair perfectly. I highly recommend this audiobook.

It didn’t keep my interest at 11% I was done. She moved in with him he’s a mafia boss and I’m sure something will happen where she’s kidnapped and he has to rescue her. But I’m not staying for it as I just finished the 1st book. No part is making me excited to keep reading.
