This is the sequel to the first Mutagenesis book and we continue following Jason as he looks for his missing sisters. This book fleshed out the world more with the dangerous enemies and encounters they run into in the world. I really enjoyed the chapter with King Mercer and the section with the Black Haze. Jason never loses hope or his ideals despite everything he's gone through and things are looking up.
