This is a wonderful book. It is a reference book and encyclopedia all in one. It researches the ‘myths’ we have heard all our lives and looks for the truth behind that myth. Most legends and lore do have a base in reality. It is one of those books you can pick up and browse at random and find something to keep you occupied for a time but also to sit down with and begin at the beginning.
