Strikingly original story from a bright new voice

Once in a while a book comes along that’s wonderfully different from anything you’ve read before, and Blinded is one of these. A zany romp through present day New York city, Sophia is catapulted into adulthood by a devastating purple moment. Her life is far from ruined, though, built as it is on a foundation of a random, gratuitous act of life-saving kindness and nourished by love and friendship in its myriad forms ranging from unadulterated self-centeredness, adoration, and timeless sisterly devotion. Bonus items include the periodic ministrations of well-endowed males and a killer rabbit of Caerbannog tattoo.

If Nora Ephron and Tarantino wrote a book and asked Christopher Nolan to add a time travel subplot. The book reads like a movie and is packed with characters and story. It’s a lot of story to take in but well worth the time. It’s full of humor, spice, satire and at times it’s dark. I loved all the characters. Unlike anything I’ve ever read.
