Very useful for becoming an Assistant Lighting Designer, especially if already familiar with the lighting design process. However, take the advice with a grain of salt. The process as an ALD is different for every production team and venue you work with. So a lot of the advice in here is not as important or allocable in many situations. However, like I said, a great tool to understand the basics before jumping into being a professional ALD.
