Run, frog, run from this thing! I don't know what the hell happened to her hands, her crown, her face, or what the fuck those things flying around her are supposed to be, but for heaven's sake do NOT let her kiss you, frog. Maybe she's the curse?

Anyway, more raw generative A.I. output, stuffed with repetitive words and phrases and generally making a mockery of anything resembling actual writing worth reading, that should be avoided at all costs.

I recently heard A.I. "writing" described as "milquetoast word salad". This is partially apt. Milquetoast is spot-on, and if you've made any attempt to read one of these books trying to pass off undeclared ChatGPT output as actual writing, it's one of the things that strikes you: vapid word usage, unearned superlatives that merely draw attention to the void of meaning. "Word salad" is only partly correct: the A.I. output is generally sensible, but only superficially. Take, for example, this portion of the blurb for the book, generated by A.I. as is every other piece of text attached here (the interior text, the book jacket, the 'about the author' section, not a word of it written by a human hand):
Experience the trials and tribulations of Alaric as he endures life as a frog, encountering characters that shape his extraordinary journey. From the moment of his transformation to the diverse encounters with maidens who hold the key to his destiny, each character enriches the narrative with their unique impact on Alaric’s fate.
What is this even supposed to mean? "No filler characters"? This is a selling point for the book, that characters in it "enrich the narrative"? If the book had an author, I might ask them for an explanation, but since it doesn't, well.

A retelling of the Grimm fairy tale, was it cute, yes, did it have a HEA yes, but a lot of repetitive usage of words & phrases made this retelling a little wordy and long for me personally and it was only a 100 page book. There are more retellings by this author and although they look cute and seem fun I don’t think they’re my cup of tea but they’re good life lesson books and I think many other people would enjoy them.

Dull

Way too "sunshine and rainbows" for my taste. I was expecting a bit more of a retelling. Thankfully short, otherwise I would have DNF'd it.
