Winning a stay at Bluebonnet Ranch sounded like a dream. Until I realized it would bring me face-to-face with my high school crush.
He's no longer the bullrider of my teenage fantasies. He's a single dad with a heart shielded by loss.
I'm here for the stunning landscapes, not to fall for Luke Henderson again. But his young son, Sam, warms up to me, and my heart begins to entertain thoughts I never expected.
As I immerse myself in capturing the ranch's beauty, our paths tangle like wildflowers in a field. The spark between us? Still alive, flickering with every stolen glance.
But with every shared smile and subtle touch, the question lingers – is this just a fleeting walk down memory lane, or is it the beginning of something real?
Just when I think I've got it all figured out, a twist of fate leaves me second-guessing everything.
I love writing and reading clean, sweet, swoony books that make me laugh out loud, cry a little, and get invested in the characters. I hope you will find that in my books—plenty of playful banter, light drama, sweet kisses only, and happily-ever-afters.
When I am not writing, I am sitting on the porch with my husband and my standard poodle, enjoying my gardens and nature. I love gardening and bird-watching!!
Maggie is photographed that won a contest for her photo and now she has get a month at the bluebonnet ranch but her ex boyfriend is now on the way there to after getting a phone called from his grandma what is going to happen nex?
Log this story was so freaking cute and adorable like I love the love story these two had for each other and never gave up on each when they went their separate way when they were young. I’m glad after everything they fought to be together and the hot balloon scene was my favorite part of the book and the wedding was also. #5starreviews🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 #bookrecommendations #bookneed #booknerd #bookinstagram

Was fast paced good break four stars good journey till the last two chapters and epilogue unfortunately made it boring too much longing was no needing felt boring all the end parts can be made in one or two pages not two full chapters and epilogue but other than that was great interesting and exciting
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This was a true second chance for Luke and Maggie. Luke raising his son Sam alone and Maggie going after her dream of taking photographs of nature and animals. Luke's grandmother puts a twist in the story but in the end it was good.
Great book. Recommend it to everyone. Cute story of Maggie, a photographer, and Luke a bull rider. Maggie has won a competition to photograph pictures on the Bluebonnet Ranch. She knows that she might meet Luke her high school sweetheart there and she does. Eleanor, Luke’s grandmother and owner of the ranch, calls Luke as soon as she knows Maggie has won the competition. She tells him that she needs him to come back to the ranch, she needs to talk with him. Luke has lost his wife 3 years ago and greaved her death ever since. He immediately returns to the ranch with his 7 year old son Sam who he had taken with him on the rodeo circuit. He very shortly meets Maggie and they iron out their past problems. So starts their new relationship. The story tells about the things they do together with each other and with Sam. When Maggie’s photographs are finally published in a popular magazine they draw the attention of the publisher of a renowned publication who offers her a great opportunity, but it means she will be out of the country for a year. Luke encourages her to follow her dreams, she just wants him to ask her to stay. When he finally does it at the airport as she is about to leave, she says yes she will stay. HEA results for Luke and Maggie. This is an entertaining read, light hearted and sweet. You can’t help but rout for Maggie, Luke and Sam, who loves Maggie and her dog Max. Enjoy!
Awesome! Maggie a nature photographer returns to her hometown , to her high school ex’s grandmother’s ranch the Bluebonnet, to work. Luke fears his Grammie is playing matchmaker when the widower father of a seven year old son is suddenly called back to help his sprightly Grandmother. Then gives an ultimatum re his inheritance…. Great swoony romance with the great humour synonymous with Lily Waters.
