There were a lot of shocking surprises in a book that should have received 5 stars instead of 3. Unfortunately there were just too many lack of editing errors: confusing sentences, subject verb agreement and the wrong character's name in the wrong sentence.

Nevertheless, Enzo and Kelly were dynamite together! How Kelly dodges commitment in romantic relationships, was something I had never seen in a romance novel before! Loved that! Also to watch Enzo's character evolve from chapter to chapter was simply awesome!

Enzo Lombardi is gorgeous and knows it. His arrogance, dominance, and anger however make him someone most ladies don’t want to get involved with. He is the kind of guy that takes over your life. Enzo expects you to devote yourself only to him and this attitude drives away the ladies. At his sister’s wedding, he falls for Kelly Jones, one of her attendants. The problem is Kelly knows some of his past and she is commitment-phobic. Kelly has four wonderful guys who want her but she won’t commit forever to any of them. Enzo and Kelly still get together and “it’s the best” either has ever experienced but Enzo thinks this…is…it...the one for him, while Kelly just wants to add him to her stable of “friends with benefits”. So back n’ forth the story goes until Enzo turns nasty and acts like a jealous teenager. The two of them keep trying to make it work but neither change to make it better and after a while, you have little sympathy for either of them. They both are from wealthy families so they are used to “the best” and “what they want when they want it”. After a final blow-up and separation, they both start therapy which helps them see their toxic actions and learn how to change.
In the first quarter of the story I loved Enzo, in the second quarter I hated him, and then I admired his determination to be better… to change his impulses. Kelly is also undergoing major changes to her life in the form of something she thought she never wanted, a baby. With the two of them truly wanting to change their lives the story improves, becoming a joyous inspirational story. I liked the family-filled lovely happy ending. Daring Enzo starts with a wedding and ends with a wedding. In between, there is lots of angst. Kelly (FMC) has a best friend, Alessia, who happens to have a gorgeous, controlling older brother named Lorenzo (Enzo - MMC). Kelly thinks Enzo is toxic, annoying, and overprotective before she meets him due to comments made by Alessia. Therefore, when Kelly meets Enzo at Alessia’s wedding, she lets him know that she does not like him. Predictably, they end up sharing a room due to a mix up with booking and have the best nights of their lives. Kelly doesn’t want to see him again, so Enzo spends the rest of the book trying to win her over. This is an emotional story - happy, sad, elated, hurt, and so many other emotions. Both main characters have a lot of issues to work through individually before they can come together.

I want to give this book 5 stars, but I cannot because of all of the grammatical issues. There are so many words missing from sentences, that sometimes you have to really think about what the author is trying to say. While I find these errors distracting from the story, I did enjoy the story and would recommend it to fans of spicy, enemies-to-lovers, best friend’s brother, close proximity, and secret baby romances.

Enzo and Kelly are both broken in different ways. Kelly has commitment issues and Enzo is controlling. Can they overcome their individual issues and have a future together? Together these two sizzle 🥵🥵 together!

This is my first Sylvia Rae book and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. From page to page, chapter to chapter, I could not put it down - you will be hooked! Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed

Enzo is Kelly's best friend's brother. She doesn't like him just from hearing what he as done to her best friend. However, a room mix up at her friend's wedding has them sharing a room. Its not long before they give into temptation. Kelly leaves before he wakes the next morning and tries to put him behind her. Enzo has other ideas and goes after Kelly. He doesn't like it that she has several men that she is casually dating and tries to win her over by taking up most of her time. Kelly starts to feel something for him, but his controlling behavior scares her. Will Enzo see what he is doing before its too late? Can they find a way to be together?

This is a great story, but it will have you hating Enzo before you start liking him. Its a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Broken and Wanting

How can two broken people make a relationship work? For Enzo and Kelly there is so much that they must endure and overcome in order to find a way back to each other after their hot night together. She is unable to commit and his desire to control everything conflicts and causes tension. This read was emotional and tense throughout most of this story, but I liked how Enzo tried to win her over.

Overall a good book especially the character development both Enzo and Kelly went trough, i really liked the fact that we got to see them working through their issues instead of skipping all that with a time jump and then they magically got better.

Although this book might’ve needed another pass with a proof reader due to some misspellings in both names and other words, sometimes it was a little hard to keep the flow of the book i had to re-read some sentences to figure out what was happening.

Also love a good HEA and this book delivered on that point

A great afternoon read.

Sylvia Rae takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride telling Enzo & Kelly's story. They are total opposites - she's a free spirit & he's a control freak. Despite their differences there is a heated connection between them but a positive pregnancy test sends everything into a tail spin. Can Enzo & Kelly move past their issues for a chance at a HEA?.

Enzo and Kelly’s story had them meeting and having to share a room due to a mix up. But she’s heard about him from her bf, Alyssa, and doesn’t like what she hears. So they share a night but won’t go beyond that due to their own behaviors. When they each go thru their own changes will it help them learn and grown to get their hea along with him knowing he has a child together.

this is the first book I have read by Sylvia Rae. This is book 3, but read good as a stand alone. The story of Enzo & Kelly's is that they are total opposites. Kelly is a free spirit and Enzo is a bit of a control freak.
This is a one night stand, leads to a pregnancy . The story has a lot of will they or wont they get together, will there be a happily ever after? Read this boo to find out.

What a great book. The story intense, passionate, fiery, complex and beautiful. Enzo was such a powerful character. Loving, kind and in the moment till he wasn’t. Kelly was a strong independent woman. She told him how it was and stuck to her guns. It was hard to bekiydo much time passed from beginning to end, but they both needed it. It was a great read. A great story. Thank you Sylvia!!!

Looking for your next STEAMY and HOT book to hook your hands on then grab this book today by Sylvia. She has written a book that has Kelly and Enzo capturing your heart and all of it at once. The sex scenes, the shower scenes are going to FOG up your windows in your entire house and when your lady parts start to burn your going to need a VERY COLD shower to cool yourself off with.

kind of disappointing.

This is the third book in this series.
There were so many grammatical errors in sentence structure and in who spoke in a conversation. A proofreader or beta reader may have caught these errors. I almost thought the book was written in a hurry or by someone else.

I considered DNF’ing it at 42%, but decided to just skim through the rest of the book. Story was “meh”.
