Antonio Asi is the young very wealthy successful head of a Hong Kong crime family. As a baby, Antonio was hidden from his powerful mafia father by his mother. NOTE: The prequel “Cold Corruption” is the short story of Antonio’s parents. His mother knew her baby would be raised by a brutal mobster and indoctrinated into the dark criminal world in New York, so she gave up her baby to be raised in secret in Hong Kong by his adoptive family. Turns out Antonio became a bad boy mobster anyway. Antonio knows who his biological family is … he also knows that his mother has died, and he vacillates between wanting to meet his father and staying away. Now that decision has been taken out of his hands…it’s too late!
Seraphina was raised in Hong Kong by her grandfather An Gung Muchen, the head of a Hong Kong “family”. Her parents were murdered by a New York mob family. Seraphina is boiling in rage and is fixated upon revenge. She has pieced together that Antonio is a descendant of the New York “mafia family” who is responsible for her family's deaths and wants to enact revenge using Antonio. Doesn’t work though because Antonio and Seraphina are so alike, and they soon develop a deep connection. Antonio falls hard and deeply for Seraphina.
Antonio and Seraphina travel to New York for answers and they get way more than they ever expected. This is a very interesting story making you want to follow these two wonderful characters. Antonio falls deeply in love and lust with Seraphina and soon she does the same. Their love is a deep forever connection. The epilogue is soooo romantic and heartwarming, probably the best I’ve ever read. I received an ARC copy of this story from Booksprout and these are my thoughts. Linda

This is the 2nd book in this incredible series, and this is the Rossi family heir, Antonio, and Seraphina, who is fueled by revenge’s story.
This is a well written story which has family, friendships, emotions, palpable chemistry, vengeance, suspense, danger, intrigue, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining, haunting, unpredictable, twisted, tragic, and steamy, heartwarming, addictive page turner.

They Killed My Parents

Seraphina had both her parents taken from her at the age of 4 because they chose to love. For that she lost them. She will have her revenge. Antonio was hidden from his father, a mafia don, his whole life. Now his father is dead and he is due to inherit. Was his family the ones to end Seraphina’s? Will she exact her revenge on him or will they find each other instead.

Full Circle

The end of book 1 left me anticipating this story and how Antonio was affected by his mother's decision. When he is seduced by Seraphina and her purpose conflicted by the end it provided a fantastic set of events to this plot. It was very enjoyable and emotional.

all about family

I love this book as I so loved the first book, but was so disappointed at the ending of the first book, but the author managed to connect to to make the story a beautiful love story with lots of twist and turns. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Be ready for a story that has lots of SPARKS and Twists that is wrapped up with some of the best romance as well. Sylvia has a writing style that you find your in LOVE with and the characters are just as HOT as the writing. This is an enjoyable and must-read book.

This book needs to be reviewed for editing purposes several times over. But with that said the storyline was great.

Just gave up reading

Tried to read this book. Thought I might enjoy it. There were so many typos it just distracted me from story.
