Yoga: Fascia, Anatomy and Movement

Rate this book
The presentation of fascial anatomy in this book provides a new context for applying knowledge of the anatomical body in a practical and relevant way to movement. Applying fascial anatomy to yoga, this book offers a way to the yoga teacher of experiencing and seeing in three dimensions - the way we really move. This enables the yoga teacher to work more creatively in the real life class.

Deeply informative and extremely useful information

This book has so much information in it that you can happily explore its chapters for several years. I particularly liked the Mandalay method of planning yoga classes. This visual design has revolutionized my class planning system, saving me hours of preparation or searching for 'good plan's I had used before. The care with which the information has been organised and presenters outstanding. Every sincere Yoga instructor should delve into this tome.

Worth it for the embryology chapter, alone. Trying to keep an open mind for the Sanskrit-based "numerology" (my term) that looms ahead.
