I’ve been reading these since the start of the collection and was even lucky to be part of it in Volume 3. The 4th volume though, the talent contain within the pages push things further then all the rest with some impressive stories filled Gore, blood oh so much blood along with action and impressive story telling that will keep you hooked. Unlike the other collections this one is more fantasy based but still a collection that will chill your blood or invoke your inner war cry. So grab your sword, spell book and anything else you might need and go forth on the adventure that is HorrorScope volume 4, if you survive it will leave you with a great many tales to tell at your next tavern stop.

HorrorScope anthology continues strong showing

The fourth edition to the HorrorScope collection continues the shock and awe from the previous anthologies. Once again we have 36 short stories and poems with zodiac sign connections. Of course some kept my attention better than others. Some of the ones that stood out to me this time were “A House with Two Front Doors” by Jenna Dietzer, a chilling tale into an alternative universe. Also “Sins of the Flesh” by Emma Jamieson made me question ever getting another tattoo. Then there was “Immaculate” by Harriet Everend, which went from zero to horrifyingly brutal in a matter of seconds. Other favorites included “Til Death” by Jena Glover, “Hole of Darkness” by Alyssa Stadnyk, “Immortal Virgo” by Allison Hillier, and “Control” by Anthony Taylor.
