Caleb Holdstock never expected to find himself with the ability to open portals to other worlds. He definitely never expected to find himself a citizen in a place called the Wyrdworld.
What he could have never predicted, even in his wildest dreams, would be that he'd find himself running for senator in this fantasy world.
But here he is, putting himself forward as the latest candidate for office in the Celestial Senate.
With his girlfriends alongside him, and a political advisor who happens to be a leader among vampires, he's aiming to win. Victory almost seems assured.
Enter Belleteyn D'Amore, former bounty hunter and the one person in all possible worlds with the chance to beat Caleb. Belleteyn has the sway of the catgirl population, and she's willing to use every dirty trick in the book to secure votes.
Running for office in the Wyrldworld promises to be an adventure that Caleb and his girlfriends will never forget.
For smut, especially male pov smut, the story is decent. Not great, but good enough. All 3 books could definitely use an edit or two, though. All riddled with typos (book 2 introduced Cerberus. Later in the book it was written Kerebrous, and the entire 3rd book he was called Cerebus) and repetitive use of the same analogies (the one that stands out the most to me is "a grin like a fox that just got promoted to head inspector of the hen house" that was used at least 3 times). A character who seemed to have knowledge of magic, but was without magical abilities suddenly has super OP spells when needed to get the MC out of peril. The last few romances seemed rushed, especially Charity and Belleteyn (we didn't even get scenes for them, we're merely informed it happened off-screen). After the first book, Eira and Yui became essentially background characters and lost all dimension to their personality. I would probably read a fourth book, if ever released, but I'm not quite clamoring for more.

To no ones surprise this is another fantastic adult fantasy adventure series from a fabulous author!!! They have expertly weaved new and interesting races in with those we all are familiar with!!! More more
I loved this, I am looking forward to more of "dungeon in my basement ". Dante, please don't disappoint us ,who love this series,by cutting it short. Thank you.
Not quite the resolution I was expecting, but the thrust was basically the same. This closes out the first arc of the story and sets us up for the next phase of his life in wyrdworld. Looking forward to more
Caleb runs for Senate getting into major battles and trying to solve the problem of the missing cat-girls. All while making time to add another half dozen or so women to his harem.
Where he comes up with this stuff I don't know, but I'm glad he does. I find all the books I have read by him have all been very interesting to read. Keep up the good work.
Good story enjoyed all 3 volumes. Time to release the next book and write the following book. At eighty I'm not as responsible as Biden but far more sane than the former bozo.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next, if there is more. This book and series are definitely worth checking out.
I hope there's more to this! I really enjoyed this series! I can't wait to see what other trickle Caleb and his girls get into! I really look forward to more!
