Well Done

This series started out as a story of domestic abuse but became a story of a different type of control - for power, money, love, freedom and hearts. I loved how the sub plots played out and interweaved as this cat and mouse game struggled for a victor. Having the mayor, police chief and some cops as part of the power play was right on point because you just can't trust any of them or their motives these days.
Reading this was like watching an action/thriller movie and I couldn't put down my kindle no matter how hard my heart beat. If it weren't for those comedic moments... But don't forget this was about a woman's quest for freedom. The support she had was awesome. The characters were perfect, each serving their unique purpose - whether you liked them or not. This village helped Nova see she was never damaged goods.
Highly recommend this great series.

cool read

Aite so the book was cool. I’m not really sure what I felt it was missing . I certainly would’ve preferred Kymie get caught up a lot sooner, I feel like Desi death was quick I wanted him embarrassed stripped of everything locked up then offed lol but that’s just me nevertheless I’m happy nova got her happy ending

I was so upset when Desi for all the turmoil he cause Nova and Mrs. Jackie. I’m glad Kymie got her butt whooped. I loved how Romelo loved Nova through everything. Nova finally got her family and her happy ending.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved everything about this series. Desi was trash, Kymie was trash, and all of the snakes got what they deserved.

Romelo took such good care of Nova. I’m glad she got her happy ending. The pain she suffered for 5 years, she deserved all of the happiness.

I’m glad Ox realized he deserved better and Hala got her happy ending as well.

Ms. Wright you did an amazing job with this book!

Happy

The one word to express my feelings at the end of part two. Karma was definitely a bitch to the ex and the cousin. Appropriately so.

What a wonderful ending

This book, along with book 1, is a powerful statement of strength. Nova regained herself. There are evil men out there, but there are a lot more good ones. Keep writing, love.

Great ending!!

I knew Melo did not play about Nova! Just a great read!! I loved the comic relief in it. Also loved that everyone got what they deserved. Karma is a beautiful thing when it falls on the people that deserve it.

Sweet!

I love a good overcomer story. Even with the violence and pain it was enough love and gentleness to soothe. Great quick read. No stones were left unturned.
