Dive into this gripping self-help narrative that explores the hidden world of covert narcissism within families.

Emma, born into the illusion of a perfect life, confronts the stark reality of a toxic family system led by a covertly narcissistic mother and a narcissistic-sadistic father. Behind closed doors, manipulation thrives, shrouded by external prosperity and a facade of good upbringing.

As Emma navigates the complexities of her seemingly idyllic family, the narrative unveils the decades-long web of manipulative tactics that have bound her in chains of abuse – both physical and psychological.

In her late 30s—amidst a personal crisis—Emma's awakening begins. In shedding light on the darkness, she unravels not only a long-held family secret but a pervasive web of deceit that she unknowingly perpetuated.

I Love You When... is more than just a fictional tale. It's a poignant exploration of covert narcissism, a force often overlooked but profoundly impactful.

Through Emma's raw and compelling story, readers gain insight into the subtle and insidious nature of narcissistic trauma within families. The narrative illustrates that healing from such trauma is not only possible but essential in breaking the cycle of abuse in future relationships.

Join Emma on her journey from darkness to light, and discover a path toward hope, self-discovery, and ultimately freedom.

I've read half of the book and have learned so much that I had to recommend it. It can be quite overwhelming not understanding what is happening in the family dynamic. Now that I am gaining clarity, I am beginning to understand what is happening. I'm looking forward to finishing the book so I can move on and live a healthier, fulfilling life. I wish I understood the characteristics of narcissism before now. Thanks to the author for addressing such an important issue.
