Corey and Tyler rapidly formed a friendship following their introduction at Corey’s beekeeper workshop. Straightaway, Tyler found herself harboring feelings for Corey that she didn’t know how to process. To make things more confusing, Corey had explicitly told Tyler that she wasn't looking for a romantic partner.
"I'm sorry. Look, I'm not looking for a date, and I don't want to give you the impression that I am." Corey wasn't sure why she said it, but she couldn't read Tyler's face and wanted to make sure that she wasn't giving any mixed signals.
Tyler laughed out loud and shook her head. "Is that what you think? That I'm hitting on you? You are cute and quite charming, but I'm straight. At least I was the last time I went out, which has been a while," Tyler's smile touched her eyes.
This novel is the second installment in the Animalia series.
I enjoyed the second installment of the Animalia series and the fact that the author continued the story as if the first one had not ended. The characters of Corey and Tyler were lovable and charming.
