I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of "There's No Us Without You." This is the second book Amanda Kade has written, and from the first page, I could tell there was a difference to her writing style. Amanda exhibits a remarkable evolution in her writing, surpassing her debut, "You Had Me At Thirteen."

Set against the backdrop of Australia, "There's No Us Without You," explores a polygamous relationship between Eden, Will, and Emerson. The story showcases the characters' growth, heartbreak, and resilience.

☆☆☆SPOILERS BELOW☆☆☆

When Eden's fiancé cheats on her on their wedding day, she ends up in a bar where she meets Emerson. Shortly after she meets Will. The three of them are all drawn to each other, and with nowhere to go, the boys offer her a place to stay while she sorts her life out.

This begins the start of their relationship, where they undergo profound transformations, navigating the complexities of unconventional love. The narrative authentically captures the highs and lows, from initial excitement to heart-wrenching moments. The characters' heartbreak becomes a catalyst for growth, as they grapple with jealousy, insecurity, anger, and heartbreak, ultimately strengthening their bonds.

Eden, Will, and Emerson's journey unfolds against a backdrop of universal themes—love, sacrifice, and personal evolution. A must-read for those seeking a captivating story.

I absolutely loved this book! It made me feel all the feels!

The raw emotions the characters feel and the trauma are written so well and realistic, this is a powerfully moving storyline, and I was hooked from the start!

Also the spice in this is chefs kiss 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

I don’t want to say to much to because I don’t want to give it away but Tyler has a spot in my heart 🥺😭

Also I would not have forgiven her mother as easily as she did. I understand why she did but I would have told that bitch to get f*cked.

Do check the trigger warnings before reading!

But I definitely recommend this book! I love Eden, Will and Emerson 😍😍😍

"Without You There Can Be No Us”. An Enthralling Tale of Love and Loss.

Rating; ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Theres No Us Without You," weaves a captivating story of love and resilience that will leave readers spellbound. The characters – Will, Emmerson and Eden – take us on a rollercoaster filled with both triumphs and tribulations. The author expertly explores relationships portraying the trios growth and interconnectedness with authenticity.

Each character is skilfully developed, bringing the perfect amount of good and bad behavioural qualities to the narrative. The book gracefully tackles challenging themes while showcasing the characters unwavering strength in the face of adversity. The pacing strikes a balance ensuring an engrossing storyline.

The conclusion is deeply gratifying yet inherently inevitable leaving an impact on my readers heart. "Theres No Us Without You," stands out within its genre securing the authors place on my "instant buy" list. I wholeheartedly recommend this book for its moving love story and compelling narrative. And who can forget the amazing smutty parts as well. One of the best books I have read.

With how good her first book was, it didn't surprise me that this book was just as good if not better!

I fell in love with each character. Yelled at them, cried with them and cheered along with them.
Eden, Emerson and Will's journey was beautiful. And it will live free in my head for a very time.

I really wanted to like this book and was excited to read it after finding it on TikTok, but this book was so hard to get through. The entire book talks about all the trauma each character has and I feel like none of it is talked about or resolved.

Events in the story don't make sense half the time and it's just so funny to me how the character (Will) with the most trauma recommends therapy for Emerson, when Will is the one who needs it the most.

The feelings Emerson and Will have for each other is talked about the entire book, yet they are hardly ever actually intimate or talk to each other at all. Not written well at all

This book started off fine, but as it went on, I started disliking the characters.

Eden has nowhere she’s willing to live and so she takes Will, a stranger, up on his offer to stay in his free room. She finds out that Emerson is also living in the same house, who is the stranger she met when she was drinking away her problems the night before. They are all attracted to each other and slowly their relationships change. There is also additional drama that each of the characters has to deal with: .

At the beginning, I was fine with Eden, Emerson and Will because they were getting to know each other. However, I stopped liking them when their behaviours stopped making sense.

There were a lot of occasions where it felt like something would happen just so that an issue with another person could be shrugged off and their relationship could continue as if nothing happened.

There were some side characters, but they weren’t shown often. I liked Tyler,

This book could have been okay, but there were too many things I didn’t like. I’m not sure if I’ll try other books by this author.

This book was genuinely an emotional roller coaster unlike anything I've read in a long time. I am a huge fan of MMF Romance and this one is one of the best I've read. I am a sucker for an unconventional love story and this one falls under that category. Will and Emerson by themselves would make for an epic love story full of angst but when you add Eden to the mix it's multiplied exponentially. It is a long book but there really is no helping it because we get so much plot and so much story that not only is the length necessary, but it's worth it. Each of our main characters has so much depth and personality and they all are going through a lot in their individual lives. I appreciate that the author gives them each the attention they deserve. Emerson, a professional football player is dealing with an injury on the road to the championship. Will is harboring a massive secret from his little brother but their relationship is rocky on the best day so he lives with that guilt hanging over him. Eden just found her fiancée and her Mom in more than a compromising position right before the wedding and took off with nowhere to go. I almost felt like I was reading three different novels melded beautifully into one book. I will admit, there was a point while reading this that I got so mad and put it down for several days. I thought several times that I may not finish it but I loved it so much that I just couldn't quit on it. This ended up being the best decision I've had in a long time because the last 25% of this book tore me up in the best and worst ways.

'Apparently my type comes in two different styles. Sunshine and Grumpy.'

This is book two in the You Had Me Series, and what can I say? It took me on an emotional rollercoaster, and I am so glad that I got the opportunity to read it.

It’s a MMF, best friends to lovers, romance featuring Eden - a woman who needs to find a home after finding her fiancé balls deep in her controlling mother on what would have been her wedding day, Emerson – a pro-athlete/soccer star who is affectionate and is fighting his growing desire for his best friend, and Will – Emerson's best friend, housemate and grumpy ass bar owner, who invites Eden to move in with them while also ignoring his deep love for Emerson.

I loved the way the author has shown the connection between the three main characters. I could picture all three throughout the entire book – which took way longer than I anticipated to finish. I found it a little slow to start with, but it’s a big book and very much worth pushing through to the finish!

There are a few triggers throughout this story, so please read them before you start.

They include drug use, childhood abuse, abandonment, BDSM themes, body shaming by parent, psychological manipulation, and many more.

One of the things I loved the most about this story is that it’s Australian-based.

I’m looking forward to what Amanda comes up with next.

“You think it was us that chose you, Eden, but honestly, there’s no us without you.”

My heart is finally beating normally again after finishing this rollercoaster of a novel. The way Emerson, Will and Eden stole my heart and then took it on a wild journey of love and lust, pain and laughter, left me feeling so many emotions I was a wreck, but in the best possible way.

Watching these three navigate the ins and outs of their every day lives whilst also dealing with family trauma/drama and their undeniable feelings for each other, was so damn good. I loved every moment of this story, even the parts that broke my heart and left me in pieces.

The spicy scenes were *chefs kiss* and left me hot until the collar every time. I didn’t know how much I needed two men to finally kiss before I read this book. The desire and mutual pining was so good, I was screaming for them to get it together already!! lol

For only her second book, Amanda manages to bring so much feeling into her writing and you can’t help but emotionally connect with all the characters.
I can’t recommend this book enough and truly believe it will be one of my favorite reads of 2024.

I highly recommend this book but please remember to check your trigger warnings as it does contain some subjects that might be difficult to read.

Wow. This book is so raw, powerful, emotional and moving.

Check your triggers, but this book will forever be etched in my heart. This book ripped my heart out, shredded it to pieces, and then put it back together piece by piece.

I don’t even know where to start. I fell in love with Willis and Emerson in Kade’s first book, You had me at Thirteen, but getting to know them in There’s No Us Without You - I have no words. Both men are perfectly imperfect, but the love they have for each other and Eden is both heartwarming and heartbreaking in the best ways.

Eden goes through a lot, and I love that Will and Emerson both help build her up in their own ways. They help her develop her confidence and find strength. The three of them compliment each other so well. I love that went they all make mistakes throughout this story, they own them.

Tyler. Oh my gosh, I don’t know if I can talk about Will’s brother without sobbing uncontrollably. But what I will say is, Tyler has my heart and soul. That is all.

A fantastic read as always by Amanda Kade. I will read anything she ever writes, and I will never stop recommending her books.

I need to take some time now to process this incredible story.

Oh wow what an amazing book this was, it was a fantastic follow up to the first book. It is a standalone in an interconnected series but it was suggested to me to read the first book first & I am extremely glad that I did. As this book did have some spoilers for You Had Me At Thirteen it also allowed me to have an insight into the friend group. The book did tug at my heart strings quite a bit & I fell deeper in love with these characters as well as this world that Amanda has created.

Some of my favourite quotes are:

'Jesus, he's so bossy. And why do I like it?' - Eden
'It's also not my fault my dick likes to keep its options open. I'm a sharer.' - Emerson
'Apparently my type comes in two different styles. Sunshine and Grumpy.' - Eden
'Great. Now I'm referring to my vagina as if it's a person and we have daily conversations.' - Eden
'If this is what falling in love feels like, then I want to stay falling forever.' - Eden
"Your ours now, Forever" - Emerson

Some of the themes/tropes that are in this book are:

*MMF
*Found Family
*Friends to Lovers
*BDSM
*Drug Abuse
*Why Choose
*Dom/Sub
*Sports Romance
*Grumpy x Sunshine
*Alphahole
*Sexual Awakening
*Good Girl/Good Boy
*Plus Size MFC

I was fortunate to receive an advance copy of this book & this is my honest opinion.

Amanda's books just keep getting better! This book does have triggers, so make sure you check those before you read. This book does feature characters from Amanda's first book although you don't have to have read it to read and enjoy this one. This story follows Will who is the dark, tortured, broken soul, Emerson who is the happy but under pressure "superstar" football player and Eden the girl who's always been beaten down but full of "sunshine" and the relationship that builds between the 3 of them. Will and Emerson have been best friends for over 10 years with Will being in love with Emerson for most of that time, Emerson is starting to have feelings for his best friend but neither act on those feelings till the final piece of our beautiful triangle Eden arrives. This book will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions from anger, to laughter to crying. There were moments where I wanted to slap the characters especially Eden's mum! Merve and Benny are hilarious!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it to all.

Amanda Kade did it again!!! I loved reading this book. This book is emotional roller coaster. I love the nicknames of Sunshine and Pop-tart. The banter and contrast of the two main male in the book was amazing. Will and Emerson's relationship was amazing. The relationship between Eden and Will was different than Emerson and Eden's relationships is. Amanda Kade has a way of making you feel connected to each of the main characters. This book talks about the different ways of dealing with grief, parental issues, and navigating emotions. Each of the characters have an unique way of going about relationship and love. I connected to Will on the level of not being very forward with my emotion and allowing people in. The topic of emotions is not a topic that can be hard to figure out. I usually do not go for MMF, but this book might have changed my mind. I would highly recommend this book if you can talk about death and other topics.

Oh my what a roller coaster, I have never had so many emotions in one book. This is the first book that made me cry. I love the main characters Eden who was getting married, Will who owns a pub and Emerson a soccer star. They all have a tuff life growing up and it was nice to read how they became the person they are. Edens mum is such a b***h and I wanted to punch her in the face. Her mum always puts her down for her weight but Will and Emerson see how beautiful she is and not to hide her body, I love these guys. Tyler is Wills brother and he is a loveable character that has gone through crap. Also the sex scenes so good and the threesome 🔥. This book and author is fantastic. I went through so many emotions and this book will stay in my head forever. I loved the storyline and nothing was left out. This Author will be an automatic buy whatever book she writes❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Please remember, these are my views, and ymmv...

The first 40% of the book dragged a little, and considering it's a girthy book, I almost set it aside. I'm glad I didn't, and if you're tempted to, I'd advise to keep going because it gets harder to put down!

I know you have to suspend belief as a reader, but I had issues with the professional athlete part- going behind people's backs and putting anything into his body, despite anti-doping tests etc.

I would have liked more thoughts from the characters- how they were feeling. There were never any real thoughts about awakening smexualities. The way our FMC keeps her manipulative mother in her life, even though she recognises she's being manipulated was puzzling.

Even though I'd read book 1, I don't think you would lose anything going into this blind.

Overall, 3.5 stars rounded up.

“It was like the universe was trying to tell me something—that sometimes what we think our worst days turn out to be the best. Or at least that ones that changes our lives for the better.”

I will start by saying that I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review. Thank so much Amanda for sending a copy my way!

There’s No Us Without You is a perfect example to demonstrate why I love the MMF trope. This book was solely focused on Emerson, Eden and Will trying to navigate their feelings and this new relationship while also trying to heal and process the trauma from their past. It was angsty and messy and I devoured it. Who doesn’t want to read about a plus-size girl finding the loves of her life in a sunshiney soccer player and a grumpy, tattooed, bartender?

Eden is having the worst possible day ever. She is on the verge of a breakdown, downing as many shots as she possibly can in some downtown Sydney bar. This was not how she imagined her wedding day to go, but it was the only way after catching her future husband banging her mother. Eden gives herself the night to wallow before figuring out some logistics, like where she will live and how she can get her late father’s restaurant back. She is thrown a life line in the form of a sunshiny, pro soccer player, Emerson, and his broody tattooed, best friend, Will. Eden decides it’s finally time to live her life the way she wants it, so she accepts their generous offer and hopes to get her life on track. With the deadline to buy the restaurant looming and attracting sparking between the new housemates, rash decisions are made and secrets loom large, which might leave Eden, Emerson and Will in heartbreak.

The narrative focus is on these characters and the romance, which I adore. The romance is messy in the best kind of way. They fuck up, get scared and push the other people away because they are terrified of being venerable and getting hurt. Which feels so authentic. The angst and pain are one side of their dynamic, which hurts so good. Then we have the beautiful side where they support each other and help heal. The steam in here is excellent and does have a dash of BDSM. That masked men scene left me panting, if you know, you know.

If you love plus-size heroines, MMF romance, a bi-awakening and forced proximity with a dash of angst and a splash of spice, There’s No Us Without Us is a must read.

Arc Review

I really enjoyed this book. It had captivating characters that I was really rooting for, while I was also getting mad at them. Sometimes they made terrible decisions, damn it!! Their mistakes and imperfections were relatable. Reading this book was like watching a drama like One Tree Hill or something like that. A lot of twists and trauma to have you screaming at your kindle.

I did find the relationships developed a little quickly. They all fell a little too quick for me but that’s more of a personal preference.

Overall this book was a fun and often painful journey. A very bingeable read

ARC REVIEW!!!

There's No Us Without You is everything. It has love, loss, angst, dominance, betrayal, healing, and found family. I absolutely love this story, the relationship between Wiil, Emerson, and Eden is everything, they balance each other out on what they need in the relationship. They are literally made for each other, now some of the choices made by the characters probably shouldn't have been made. But I get it, it adds to what the story needs. The author Amanda Kade wrote a masterpiece with this story, I love these characters, individually and together. This was an amazing read, definitely worth it.

I love everything about these 3 characters and they give it their all. I couldn’t fault this book at all. I am so privileged to be able to read this as an ARC. I can’t wait to see where Amanda goes next. Definitely a 10⭐️read and a 🔥🌶️ spice rating.

I gobbled this book up like the FMC gobbles 🤭 or maybe like the MMC does. Let me just say that this was the right amount of in the feels to make the relationships work.
Amanda Kade what can I say, you knocked this one out of the park.
If you enjoy bestfriends to lovers with a little twist thrown in, all the angst of finding who you are seggsually then this is definitely the one to read.

I really loved the journey you go on with each character as they discover themselves as a group and singularly.

I was given the opportunity to read this book as an ARC copy

I was hesitant at first but in the first few chapters I was hooked the amount of passion the author took into creating her characters was amazing. They knew exactly what they were doing

The emotions this book brought out were more then I expected to say I cried would be an understatement I think I ugly cried for a little while.

This book takes you on a roller coaster from love to hate, sad to happy , from heartache to putting the pieces back together it has it

This is a stunning story, easy read with lovable but relatable and flawed characters that feel incredibly real.
The story flows naturally and none of the spicy scenes feel forced or gratuitous, it all fits where it belongs and feels pretty realistic. I love that it's an Australian story without any stereotypical stuff shoved down your throat.
I also had to stop and take a minute at 66% because everyone was happy and safe and things were perfect and I knew with 1/3 of the book left, someone was about to be hurting- most likely the reader. I was right.

What a great follow-up novel to You Had Me At Thirteen.
This book is part of the series but can be read as a standalone. However, I would recommend reading You Had Me At Thirteen for some friend dynamic.
You meet Eden, Willis, and Emerson and throughout the book, a detailed story of happiness, love, pain and growth unfolds.
This is a slow burn book, but the down and dirty definitely arrives, and you don't know which part of the triangle you love more.
It's Australian based, and it's nice to have some good ol' aussie quirks and humour in stories.
The growth and development throughout the book keeps you intrigued and captivated.
This book will break your heart, but you absolutely won't regret reading it!

A refreshing and fun emotional rollercoaster :) Ok, its a marathon at 600 pages but its worth it!

When Eden encounters besties Will and Emerson she is fresh out of a trauma filled engagement and needs somewhere to call home. The story has some great arcs with the characters overcoming their own personal hurdles and social expectations and self realisation, as well as the complexity of their relationship as it unfolds.

Tropes:

Grumpy/Sunshine

Absolutely fantastic gateway into MMF romance!!
The characters, even the secondary ones, are beautifully deep and well written. Although being the second in a series you absolutely don't have to read the first to appreciate and adore this book.
Just a perfect mix of spice, plot, and character development. Make sure you read the trigger warnings, but everything is handled absolutely beautifully and in an appropriate tone.
Totally cried at some points for many different reasons, both happy and sad.

A contemporary romance featuring polyamorous relationships, hitting rock bottom and discovering one’s self & happiness.

Eden needs a room to rent & Will and Emerson have a room spare…. a perfect set up for a romance

This book broke my heart and then put it back together before shattering it again! It was an emotional rollercoaster but I enjoyed every minute of it!

It was a little slow getting into it but once I got into it I was hooked an couldn’t put it down!

I'm not sure how to rate this book.

Em is just a sweetheart, so is Tyler if not just misunderstood and Will is just Will, Eden I'm not sure how to describe her character style apart from marshmallow golden retriever.

I'm stuck somewhere between 3.5 and 4, I glossed over some of the intimacy scenes.

One particular scene at the end, almost had me want to throw my kindle. There really just no need for that scene...
