Black Sheep - Gemma Weir - 5 stars!
HOLY HELL. Gemma has done it again and sucked me into her world of OTT bulldozing alphas and her headstrong yet vulnerable heroines. This time? She went reverse harem and it was EPIC. Dimi, Vik and Lev have a rough past but have made themselves into something to be envious of. They have plans and part of their plan is to kidnap and consume the woman that doesn’t even know she’s from their world.
Dimi, Vik and Lev have followed the beauty for a long time and all their plans are falling into place. She is the last piece of the chessboard and they know taking her is easy. It’s the keeping her that will be hard.
Ali is a fighter and a survivor and she doesn’t take well to being kidnapped and manhandled but these men, while completely dominant and possessive, are wriggling their way into her mind and her heart despite her reservations.
On a mission to take down the Mafia and rebuild it in the way they see fit, it will be up to Ali to grasp onto a better life and join them. They certainly aren’t going to let her go. Can she give into the want and need she is starting to feel for them? Can anyone say Stockholm? Yes, I can but I don’t care.
Black Sheep is full of triggers and Gemma is sure to make the reader aware before the first page. Me? I live for this and I adore Gemma’s personal brand of romance. This story was action packed, violent and kinky as hell. The plot and the smut balanced nicely and I loved each of the men for their unique personalities and needs. Ali was such a real character and you fell right along with her for these morally grey men.
This story ends on a HFN with plenty left to be answered if Gemma wants to continue this world and I for one…hope she does because it was...

'Vengeance is Mine' by Lee Savino started with a bang and didn't slow down or stop until it said The End. Where to begin without giving anything away? That's the tough question here because one thing immediately leads to another which falls into another and I don't want to give away the whole book. Lula is standing at the altar about to get married until a man storms into the church, heads directly down the aisle, throws his arm around the groom like he's hugging him, and then backs up only for the groom to fall over unalive and dripping blood everywhere. Instant chaos reigns, people running and screaming everywhere while Lula stands there trying to figure out what she is supposed to do next. That would seem like the natural reaction, right? Yeah, it's not what you think. As a matter of fact, these characters' actions aren't what I thought would happen. Read the trigger warnings because they're real but then they made a great story.

4.5 ⭐️ Black Sheep by Gemma Weir her first whychoose she always has the most OTT possessive, obsessive A.holes that I am here for in my books!

After this remark I wasn’t sure what to expect but Gemma delivers to us. I am positive I would have been plotting ways to ☠️ Dimi, Vik and Lev.
Is there such a thing as a psycho golden retriever that is what I think of while reading Lev 😂.
If anyone has read her Alphaholes series this is Sebastian times three well maybe two and a half.
This was a page turner I just kept reading all the way to the end to see what crazy, sexy things would happen and how they were going to change Alabamas mind. Loved the book but if you are not in to morally dark men who do as they want with no regrets who ☠️ anyone who even looks at her in appropriately this is not for you. It has parts that will leave you gasping and gripping your pearls if you had them 😂🖤. After all the O’s they had me convinced too 🫠🫠. I will receive your gift with no shame!
My vote is for MORE of these four!!

Some more than others
Only liking 2 of the stories from this anthology has made me give this such an average rating.
I went into this anthology, very blind, only knowing about, and wanting to read one of the stories, and so getting so many was great for me.
The thing about it is that a lot of the stories I didn’t like I just didn’t see the chemistry or it had plot holes that I just couldn’t un-see. I am hoping that the two stories that I do really like become their own prints, especially since the story that I initially went into is a part of the world of one the author’s series.
But I can also say that there was lots of spice and very enjoyable spice, overall, in every single book, I don’t think that this anthology will be for everyone like everyone would like majority of the books, but I do think that if you read the prompt of some of them that actually have props and find it to be appealing. You should definitely read it. or go blind like I did.

** review for Black Sheep - Gemma Weir**
3 stars - hmmmmm. i was looking forward to this since GW is a one click author for me, but idk how i feel ab this.
it felt too rapey i think?? they kidnapped her then straight away, sent her to the deep end of their crazy + killed people in front of her, heavily punished her ??
i like the RH aspect, and how they’re all mega possessive, but you’re telling me they didn’t realise that tanya was being horrible to the fmc the whole time?
also; the end was way too abrupt. the whole 300+ pages all happened within 30 days, and then when we finallyyyy get character + relationship progression, the book ends.
i liked lev more than the other 2, but i really wasn’t a fan of any of the guys in particular. esp the one who had the weird upbringing of DV??? he sees men “putting women in their place” with violence as normal bc his grandpa and dad did it, so he does it to this fmc… to me, the ginger was too far. that seemed to me - like a genuine rape scene and i didn’t like how the mmc’s were turned on by her pain, but that’s just my opinion since sadism and stuff isn’t my thing.
sex scenes were hot, got a few dp & tp scenes, one of the guys liked sleeping w his 🍆 in her, and there was also a whole lot of breeding :P

it was forced proximity, enemies to lovers type beat. the mmc was very much an asshole but was very switch-y about it. he was an asshole half the time, then he was super sweet. i really felt for the fmc whenever she was forced back into the room, and it made me hate the mmc a little bit more each time.
regardless, i liked the angst that the whole “locked in” situation gave. it wasn’t horrible, but it also made my chest hurt enough to make me need to keep reading.
i do kinda wish the fmc made the mmc grovel a bit more after she ran out the window, and especially after she found out that he knew she was coming to the house. i still don’t understand how the mmc was able to turn away a person at his door and leave them alone and stranded in the dark during a storm in the middle of nowhere, even if his excuse was that he was being an angsty loser.
i liked the switch up, and was also a fan of the mmc’s little bursts of possessiveness even when he was being a grumpy asshole. i was also a fan of how the whole book was set during the time they were at the cabin/house.
smut was alright, there were only 3-4 scenes but plot made up for it, def recommended:))

“Beautiful Villain: An anthology of standalone romance novels. This has Romance, Strong, Dominant Alpha men and woman who are their match. Many of my favorite authors are here! And, what a wonderful way to read and find new authors! Great array of authors who know how to tell a story! Each story is unique and captures your attention from the first page. Loved all the stories because they were each different and were well written and the characters had depth and were well developed. I have enjoyed all the stories!
Here is my review for “Vengeance is Mine: A Dark Romance” which is the second book in the series Mafia Bride series by Lee Savinoi. The story is original and not like any Mafia story you have read. Lucrezia (Lula) is the daughter of the head of the Mafia family but she has no interest in being a Mafia princess because she is on a quest! Her cousin, Royal is now head of the family and she feels that he hasn’t done enough to avenge the murder of her mother. Lula has trained for years to take down her mother’s killer who has been difficult to identify and even more elusive to find. Enter the assassin Victor, who totally ruins her carefully laid out plan. AND, he is attracted to her and decides to keep her. LOL Yes, he kidnaps her. I will not say more because this is the time to pick up the book and find out how this turns out.
The story is filled with suspense, mystery, romance, aspects of BDSM and lots of HOT, sexy scenes from page one! Lula is a feisty and strong heroine, who holds her own against a strong, Dominant man.
Will Victor get Lula? Will Lula be able to accept the truth? The characters are well developed and the chemistry between Lula and Victor is electric! The plot is filled with danger, action, is fast paced and holds your attention!! Through, Lee Savino’s talent, as an author, we are shown how the characters learn more about themselves, each other, their relationships and that together they grow stronger and can realize a brighter future. The suspense and mystery builds, the surprises keep the readers captivated and we just keeps reading and reading…..The ending is a total surprise!! Thank you,Lee Savino for an amazing story!!!

Lula had a plan. Marry this pathetic man and get to Stephanos to act out her revenge. She certainly didn’t plan on a tall handsome stranger to wall into the church and change all that. Victor was to do a job. No one embezzles from Stephanos without paying. He didn’t expect to be captivated by the bride. She was cool, no screaming or sobbing. She was defiantly a treasure. But nothing happens that easy.
I love that we start off with a wedding and revenge. Of course it never is a “clean” one with revenge involved. Then we have Lula and Victor. Victor is pure sin and dark. He is also tempting. These two have their heated fights but man does it get dirty at times. And I mean in the hot sexy way. I was shocked at what happened next and then the tables turn. You end up holding your breath at times wondering what will happen next. I love that Victor slowly and methodically drew Lula out. The vengeance what she hoped for but it was satisfying. And he did what he needed to do to get her trust. This was hot and punishing as well as digging deep into the soul. I loved it.

Whoa!! Oh My...
Honestly, I've only read the first book in this collection, but I do intend on reading all of them. I just had to review the first one, asap.
I am already a fan of Gemma Weir, and all her OTT, Alpha men that when I heard she wrote a RH Bratva story - I had to read it!! Only, this is a nuclear level scorching hot read, that I wasn't prepared for!! I mean, I mostly was... because if you've ever read Gemma's work before, you know she is entirely UNapologetic about her guys being supremely Alpha, doling out punishments and pleasures that in real life, would buy you a restraining order!
But this one? With 3 Alphas?! Whew!! It's a lot.
The storyline is engaging, keeping the pages flipping, while the steamy chemistry and scenes are addictive. This is definitely not for delicate readers, and frankly, I'm glad this isn't real life. That said, I enjoyed getting lost in the world of Dimitri, Lev, Vik and Alabama for a little while. There's a HFN ending, but I'd love to read more. I really hope this is a start of their story, not the end.
Grab this one, and steal some alone time with these characters and pages. Enjoy!

Things do not go as planned, however, and she finds herself a prisoner of the only man who has ever made her feel anything. A man she shot to facilitate her getaway. Now, he has revenge plans of his own.
Lots of kink, so if this isn't your cup of tea you might not like it. There is a HEA, so that's a plus. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Vengeance Is Mine by Lee Savino.....
While I know this is an anthology, I've only read Ms. Savino's story so far. It started off with a bang, or shall we say a knife and just went on from there. It was a dark story so heed the warnings but if I can read it, you can too. A mafia princess who seems to have a plan for her soon to be husband until a tall and dark brooding man shows up just as they're fixing to say their vows. While I know this is an anthology, I've only read Ms. Savino's story so far. It started off with a bang, or shall we say a knife and just went on from there. It was a dark story so heed the warnings but if I can read it, you can too. A mafia princess who seems to have a plan for her soon to be husband until a tall and dark brooding man shows up just as they're fixing to say their vows. 3.5* Vengence is Mine is the only book I've read in this anthology.
I have mixed feelings about this book. On the positives - the writing is very descriptive so the reader really feels like they are part of the story. The chemistry between Victor and Lula is wonderful and I loved the ultimate relationship between these two. The negatives - the story verged at times into the mystical with the 3 Fates, which doesn't appeal to me. Yes, Victor kidnapped Lula and kept her imprisoned, but his talk of 'training' her to like what he does, gave off grooming vibes and ick feelings. While this story does form part of the author's Mafia Brides series, it can very much be read as a standalone.

I enjoy reading anthologies as it gives me a chance to get to know authors I don’t usually follow as well as the ones that I do but for me the stand out would have to be Vengence is Mine from Lee Savino..
This story started well with its mafia suspense as Lulu was getting married in the hope for vengeance on a rival for the murder of her mother when she was a child but when her prospective groom is killed at the wedding Lulu takes matters into her own hands only to find herself kidnapped by Victor the assassin who killed her groom..
This story is quite dark and suspenseful that i was hooked and for me a definite 5 star read..

I read the warning and realised that part of this would annoy me. I wasn’t wrong.
I’ve been spanked and whipped but always with my consent. I just can’t get my head around submission and masochism being forced on someone and them enjoying it.
Perhaps Master babied me because he always checked on my feelings and would ease me into new things at a rate that helped me enjoy them.
Why do so many books create a heroine who accepts the treatment she gets from an arsehole or in this case arseholes?
This book is well written and if non-con is your thing you will enjoy it.

What a sinfully intriguing anthology. If morally gray is your favorite color, you are going to want to grab a copy right now. I absolutely loved Lee Savino's entry, Vengeance Is Mine. This enticing story is thick with tension, suspense, darkness, steam and twists. Lucrezia and Victor are a wickedly sharp-edged couple that cuts deeply into your heart while giving you some very seductive feels. The had zero trouble keeping me right on the edge of my seat and hanging on every word.

This is a review for Vengence is mine by Lee Savino. A great dark erotic story. It's well written and described. I loved all the well rounded characters. Lula is strong, sweet and very focused. Victor is a very focused dominant. I enjoyed all their interactions. This story is very full with lots of different elements. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I recommend it. If the other stories are half as good as this one then the reader is in for a real treat.

Lots of erotic, steamy goodness, but an excellent HEA.

This review is for "Vengence is Mine" by Lee Savino. Wow, this is an incredible story that I loved. Lula and Victor were destined to be together. Victor's description of his physiological disorder had me laughing. He proved his love and loyalty to her and her family in his own way.
Please read the preface of the book for the triggers. I found this enjoyable, hot hot, and engaging read something that I would encourage you to read

confused
This is the strangest review I’ve ever written. Bought this for the Natasha Anders book and it’s brilliant as usual. However the others are just iffy… it’s either straight to sex (which I don’t mind) or metaphysical wanderings and sex with 4 men… I suppose what I’m saying is buy Natasha Anders books by themselves…

I read Gemma Weir, Natasha Anders, and Lee Savino's books in this anthology. They were all good, nothing terribly dark about any of them in my opinion. There's a dub-con/non-con trigger warning for Savino's book but there wasn't any dub-con/non-con in it at all, she was willing for every interaction even if what they were doing was new to her. She intended to sleep with him from the get-go.

Holy yowza, this grabs you by the throat right in the beginning and doesn’t let go! (You’ll get it when you read it 😉). And read it you must!! This was dark & smoldering, dangerous all around!! Lula is intelligent and lethal. And Victor, wow, he’s vicious in many ways. Controlling. And HOT. But you also get the other side of him with Lula. And it’s everything!

Victor and Lulu are pure fire OMG I could not put this down for a second. I loved them both and I didn't know what to expect but when Victor started his training just wow. They are both so dangerous and will sacrifice it all for revenge.
Intense, amazing connection and the plot wow. I really loved this one.

started great then got terrible
The first book was dirty and dark to the max. You had to take it with a grain of salt and when you did it was unbelievably hot! Then the stores got progressively boring, whiny, and not even dark. The last 2 stories were terrible.
Ok read the first, third and fourth are the best.

A good story about a young girl down on her luck and a mafia don. As Ashley tries to spy for the Viper, as he is threatening her friend Sam, she catches the attention of Luca. He knows she is up to something but he wants what he wants. Ashley confesses and they wait for Viper to make his move.

Some good, some not so good
I enjoyed a couple of the stories and a couple were okay (not really my type of story, but well written) , one was not so good and dragged down my overall rating. Overall it was worthwhile reading, but won't be on my reread list.
