Thanks to Rin Itoshi’s screamer and some solid defending in the dying minutes of the first half, the Blue Lock Eleven are up 2-1 against the U-20 Japan team. Morale is running low in the U-20 locker room, and things only get worse when Sae Itoshi threatens to leave. Just then, an ominous figure emerges from the wings... The demon striker Ryusei Shidou is finally loose and ready to run rampant!

I reached a point in this volume where I would like to be Isagi to massage Chigiri's legs.

The boys in this manga are destined to be the loves of my life.

Chigiri, Aiku, Rin and Isagi: I love you my precious boys<3.

AND my new favorite ship (unfortunately non-canon) is Shidou x Sae Itoshi✨.

این دیدگاهی که نسبت به تلاش و هدف داره واسه من خیلی جالبه. یکم صفر و صدیه ولی جالبه.
آرت رفته رفته پیشرفت می‌کنه و برخلاف اون اوایل زیاد گیج نمی‌زنم و کاملا متوجه جریان بازی میشم.
احتمالا درخشش ایساگی می‌مونه واسه جلد بعد و آخر بازی ولی تا اون موقع دلم می‌خواد بازم از ناگی و بارو ببینم و کیف کنم از درخششون. تا حالا شده یه کارکتری همینطوری بدون دلیل تو دلتون جا وا کنه؟ خیلی چیز عجیبیه و من اینو با بارو دارم تجربه می‌کنم.
راستی فلش‌بک رین هم خوب بود.

I remember that i started reading this masterpiece of a manga back in 2021 bc someone compared a character (Kunigami) to Bakugou from MHA and goddamn what a good decision that was.

ITS JUST SO GOOD, i had taken a hiatus from reading it but the anime brought me back. Thank u to the tiktok editing community, i owe y’all a lot 💅🏻

this volume is one of the best so far. reo is finally here and he’s shining. amazing boy — so talented, smart, hardworking. i knew he had great potential the moment i saw him. yeah, favourite character.

we finally get the itoshi brothers’ backstory. i can’t even be mad at sae, he was clearly hurting, and rin was just a teenager who couldn’t understand so much. and now we’re witnessing this whole sibling drama unfold. i personally adore this trope. i just hope they’re not doomed.

anyway, the tension, the chemistry — everything was on point. i saved some freaky quotes as usual, i’ll add them later.

I have a little more sympathy for Rin because Sae is even worse than him!!!! They’re both bad but Sae is yucky!

My heart almost exploded when Chigiri ran out of stamina. I thought he injured his leg!!

I don’t see how Barou is gonna turn this thing around in the next volume unless he evolves in a crazy way.

Some of the dialogue in this manga made me cringe so hard I was worried my teeth were gonna fall out LMAOOO. I cannot with Shidou’s “take my goal straight in your womb!”?!??! I’m laughing and cringing at the same time.

The longer this series goes, the more unhinged it gets... Like, I went from being kind of teary eyed to giggling, because some of the things that these characters say and do, are... interesting. It is keeping me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what's going to happen next, so good for it.

Shidou is a scary freak, and I say that with nothing but affection in my heart. We are now up to two characters who have reminded me of Huggy Wuggy and I H A T E that for me.

SO GOOD but i feel like this volume was so slow, this had 10 chapters but only 10 minutes passed from the second half, finally rin’s backstory and now we know why he’s like that, poor chigiri 😢

the parts when isagi’s mom and bachira’s mom met it was so cute 😢😢
