An interesting book for people beginning witchcraft as it covers lots of aspects. My criticism with these types of books is that they talk about how working this way healed their trauma and helped them but never really say how. It would be nice to read more about the authors experience and healing interspersed with the teaching. As a how to book I’m afraid it’s just one of many nowadays.
Loved it. I found Emma to come across truly authentic and she spoke in such a welcoming colloquial voice that I enjoyed the read. A perfect time around Samhain to read and put to practice some rituals. Really felt my witching soul open up and come alive again.
I think the information is good, but I listened to this on audiobook. The narrator's voice was so flat, almost slurring in parts, and I found it difficult to concentrate on what she was saying.
Includes lots of meditations and rituals to try, all simple sounding and not intimidating. Encourages you to find your own path; you don’t have to follow the rules. Excited to try everything!
A helpful guide to how witches think and view the world. A perfect perspective for authors to know how to accurately portray witchy characters in their writing.
