Born and raised in Tampa Bay, Florida, Jonathan Bergeron dipped his toes into writing in a portable classroom in middle school; nothing much came from it until after a 4-year stint in the United States Marine Corps.
Jonathan found a computer, a chair, and a keyboard and began writing. Quite quickly, it became evident writing novels somehow entails more than just thinking up an idea and hammering away at the keyboard, not that it dissuaded him from writing. If anything, finding out stories are as complex as real life lit a fire inside, and turned writing from a hobby into an obsessive passion.
He now writes science fiction, from the far-reaching space operas that hooked him on sci-fi from a young age to itty-bitty short stories; book reviews, movies reviews, and pretty much anything else that strikes his fancy.
Aside from writing, he loves hanging out with his daughter, spending time with his wife, bookstores, libraries, and summer in Florida; where he lives with his wonderful daughter, lovely wife, two rescued dogs, two adopted cats, and two goldfish won at the State Fair.
